Princeton Policy Adviser President Steven Kopits says his research on illegal immigration shows that giving amnesty to illegal aliens would cost American taxpayers a staggering $2 TRILLION, as the new citizens would eventually become eligible for government programs. Illegal immigration costs American taxpayers about $116 billion every year, or about $8,075 per taxpayer. [Why would we elect people from both parties to advocate for this death-wish to America?]
The mayor of Aliso Viejo, California is joining leaders of other cities looking to opt out of the state’s “sanctuary” law, which allows for less cooperation on the local level with Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials. The Los Alamitos City Council is the first city to opt out of the unconstitutional law, which was met with overwhelming support of about 50 to 1. The ACLU is threatening to sue the city if they fail to comply with state law.
The Trump administration is expelling 60 diplomats and is closing the Consulate in Seattle, joining 20 European allies who have also expelled Russian officials in condemnation of the poisoning of a former Russian spy living in England. There is no hard evidence that Russia was responsible for the poison attack earlier this month.
Omar Mateen reportedly shot and killed 49 people at the Pulse gay nightclub in Orlando in 2016, and his wife is on trial for collaborating with terrorists related to the shooting event. Her lawyers are asking for a mistrial as prosecutors delayed informing her that Omar’s father, Seddique Mateen, has been an FBI informant for more than a decade, and allege that he may have been an accomplice. The FBI declined to prosecute the shooter, Omar, for making violent threats in 2013, which may have prevented the Pulse event.
An Austrian teacher explains the impossibility of trying to integrate Muslims from a widely different culture and language. They believe their culture is superior, and children refuse to learn many subjects on religious grounds. She says that teachers are afraid to speak out because political parties and the media support migrants over native Austrians. Half the students in Vienna come from a migration background. Austrian schools offer classes in Islam. Meanwhile, the government pretends that everything is great.
The well-organized March for Our Lives in Washington, DC and in cities across the country last weekend was characterized in the media as a student-led movement against private gun ownership. In truth, it was organized and funded by Leftist groups including the Democrat Party. The money came from Everytown for Gun Safety, which is funded by Act Blue, an offshoot of the Democratic National Committee.
PM Netanyahu said that the electrified fence along its border with Egypt is necessary to ward off African migrants who are a greater threat than Islamic terrorists. Why? His answer is that they threaten the Jewish state’s national character. [Control over immigration is a right of national sovereignty just as much as we have the personal right to keep strangers out of our homes. Europe and America would do well to pay closer attention to this concept.]
US Senator Rand Paul says that no one read the $1.3 billion 2,232 page omnibus bill that was passed last Friday. He says that when Republicans are in the minority, they are the conservative party, but when they are in the majority, they drop conservatism. He describes an ‘unholy alliance’ between both parties: Republicans want unlimited spending on the military, and Democrats allow it in exchange for unlimited domestic spending.
The lawsuit presents the case that artificial fluoridation of the water supply violates the federal Toxic Substances Control Act, because it exposes children to levels of fluoride that are extremely toxic. Dr. Connett is optimistic that the court will find in favor of the suit because, for the first time, ever, the fluoride lobby will be required to subject its science to cross-examination, and this will reveal that there is no science at all.
Last year, President Trump fired 59 Tomahawk missiles on Syria following a gas attack that was blamed on Syrian President Assad – without proof. It is hard to believe that Assad is behind the reported recent chemical attack because he has nothing to gain by it and knows it could be used as an excuse for retaliation that will destabilize his regime again. Russia says that US-trained saboteur groups have been spotted in the region and is expecting them to launch a false-flag attack made to look like an attack from Assad forces.
US: Republican-In-Name-Only (RINOs) have sold out their constituents once again as they prepare to pass the enormously bloated $1.3 trillion, 2,232-page omnibus budget that they have not even read. It is loaded with hand-outs by big spenders – Republicans and Democrats alike. Politics as usual while the nation staggers under the increasing load.
