US: Republican-In-Name-Only (RINOs) have sold out their constituents once again as they prepare to pass the enormously bloated $1.3 trillion, 2,232-page omnibus budget that they have not even read. It is loaded with hand-outs by big spenders – Republicans and Democrats alike. Politics as usual while the nation staggers under the increasing load. -GEG
The US House approved the $1.3 trillion budget to fund the government through the 2018 fiscal year, allowing all federal services to continue. 145 Republicans (and 111 Democrats) voted in favor of this bill that is a betrayal of the taxpayer and violates promises that so-called conservative Republicans made. The 2,232 page bill is being rammed through Congress, with only 36 hours to read it, under the threat of a government shut-down after midnightFriday night.
House Speaker Paul Ryan and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell have sold the bill on an $80 billion increase in defense investment. The bill was a BIG gift to Democrats: it limits how many Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents can be hired, it continues funding for sanctuary cities, it fully funds Planned Parenthood, it could allow the number of foreign guest workers with H-2B visas to nearly double to 120,000 seasonal employees, it restricts guns and, finally, lacks border wall funding, which is Trump’s key issue.
It is almost as if Republicans want to give the upcoming mid-term elections to the Democrats who always support more spending.
The bill allocates more than $500 million included for the Gateway Program for a rail line between Newark, New Jersey, and New York City. The initial funding is the camel’s nose under the tent for bankrolling the entire $30 billion project on the back of the federal taxpayer.
Wednesday’s spending bill will include an additional $4 billion to combat the opioid epidemic.
The Senate and the White House have until Saturday at 12:01 am to pass the bill, or a government shut down will be implemented.
Social media critics pointed out that selecting directors based on their skin color, genitalia and sexual preference epitomized the bigotry most “diversity” measures claim to fight. According to the New York Times, 75% of currently-listed Nasdaq companies fall short of the proposed requirements.
Opioids have killed more than 450,000 people over the past two decades. Last week, as part of a sweeping settlement with the DOJ, Purdue Pharma, controlled by the Sackler family, pleaded guilty to three criminal charges.
Anyone diagnosed with Covid-19 using the PCR test should not be required to isolate. Recently, a court in Portugal ruled against a governmental health authority that had illegally confined four people to a hotel this summer.
Kary Mullis, the inventor of the PCR test who was awarded a Nobel Chemistry Prize, said that by using certain protocols for the PCR test, scientists can come up with results they want — he stated, “…with PCR, if you do it well, you can find almost anything in anybody.”

The government in Sao Paolo has already agreed to start importing millions of doses of Sinovac’s jab, despite resistance from the president. Bolsonaro was quoted saying, “I’m telling you, I’m not going to take it. It’s my right.”
The reported purpose of the killing was to stop the nuclear deal with Iran dead in its tracks before president elect Joe Biden comes into office. Tehran long has maintained its nuclear program is peaceful, and the International Atomic Energy Agency says that the “Amad” program ended in 2003.
Vermont Governor Phil Scott, a Republican, announced on Twitter last week that schools have been directed to ask students or parents if they were part of multi-family gatherings. If the answer is yes, he wrote that they will need to “go remote” and quarantine for 14 days or take a Covid test and isolate for 7 days.

Continued shutdowns of schools across the US have caused an alarming decline in learning. Remote virtual learning on computers is not working. Teachers’ unions have lobbied to keep schools closed. Public schools have a radicalizing influence. Homeschooling is on the rise, and that may be the ultimate solution.

More than a dozen House Republicans are circulating a petition to GOP leaders to vote now or they will force a vote to allow mass amnesty and citizenship for ‘Dreamers’. The Federal Reserve creates more dollars each day chasing the same amount of goods, so it takes more dollars to buy them. Manufacturers, instead of showing the rising price, choose to reduce the quantity or quality of their goods, and most people thereby are not aware of how severe inflation actually is.
