John Mearsheimer, an author, political scientist and international relations scholar, gave a lecture in 2015, The Causes and Consequences of the Ukraine Crisis, that has garnered over 11 million views on Youtube, and it is relevant today. He stated that Ukraine is divided and is fighting a civil war between the Ukrainian-speaking people in the northwestern part of the country and the Russian-speaking people of the southeastern part of the nation. The civil war is independent of the struggle between the US and Russia. Mearsheimer blamed the conflict with Russia on the US and its allies as they aim to peel Ukraine away from Soviet orbit and incorporate it into the West. Mearsheimer pointed out that Ukraine is not a vital strategic interest to the US, however, it is a core strategic interest to Russia, and Russian security is at stake. He said that Putin will wreck Ukraine before he allows the West to take it. Russia is a nuclear power and if its leaders believes that its survival is at stake, the threat of nuclear war looms.

There should be no question that the US interfered with and mitigated the 2014
Ukrainian election, It would not be the first time the State department interfered

This video explaining the Ukraine crisis is 6 years old. Does anyone suppose that events have changed in 6 years. Sure the inexplicable animosity between Russians and Ukrainians has existed for some time. The recently added factor is that the American NIH (read Anthony Fauci), along with French, German and Israeli equivalent agencies, is funding the manufacture of biological weapons in Ukraine. Putin is putting a stop to that. He sent Russian troops into Ukraine to locate and destroy the biolabs and the biological weapons. Ukraine president Zelenskyy refused to destroy the labs and weapons, so Putin is doing it… Read more »

Interesting alternative explanation: Bertrand Russell’s One World Governance Plan for the World. New American article, “Russia vs. Ukraine: Is It Our Fight?” “The first step — and it is one which is now not very difficult — is to persuade the United States and the British Commonwealth of the absolute necessity for a military unification of the world. “The establishment of a single government for the whole world might be realized in various ways: by the victory of the United States in the next world war, or by the victory of the U.S.S.R., or, theoretically, by agreement. Or — and I think this is… Read more »

[…] Trump was harsher than Biden on Russia because of the baseless collusion allegations he was trying to outrun and out perform. That doesn’t mean he would have avoided folly in Ukraine, since he did send weapons to the comic’s regime. It’s rumored that he told Putin he would bomb Moscow if he invaded Ukraine. Sounds like a nice “tough guy” rumor Trump’s acolytes would plant for the MAGA Borg to chew up and disseminate across attention networks as if it’s some cold war “peace through strength” Reaganesque tall tale. If it is true it makes him extremely stupid and… Read more »
