George Soros is demanding that the European Union regulate social media because voters’ minds are being controlled and “manipulated” as populism is gaining favor in Europe and the US. He warned that an alliance between big tech companies and regulators in the US could lead to totalitarian control. His concerns are deeply hypocritical as he has been pushing the globalist agenda for control for decades by funding non-profit groups. He is now the subject of an ‘anti-Soros’ bill in his native Hungary, as the country seeks to limit his influence and meddling.
Conrado Miranda, a former senior software engineer for Twitter, says that Twitter acts in accordance with Terms-of-Service agreements with foreign governments – notably China – and routinely bans users at their request. He also revealed that China often will hack Twitter if it fails to comply with the request.
Twitter suspended the account of Congressional candidate, Chris DePizzo, after he tweeted that his Democrat rival was a “liberal media darling” who ignores the concerns of his own district. He also said that his opponent’s donors in California and New York were more important to him than his constituents. Clearly, Twitter is no longer just a provider of a channel of communications, it has assumed the role of censor as well – and an extremely biased one at that.
Jason Fyk says that when Twitter shut down President Trump from its platform for 10 minutes, it was to test public reaction. Twitter may be planning to take down his account permanently. Facebook recently blocked the opportunity for hundreds of thousands of people to make money from their Internet content. Fyk calls for regulations, but can we trust Congress? The problem is far more systemic than that. The solution starts with draining the swamp in schools and government.
Jack Dorsey, the CEO of Twitter, campaigned for Net Neutrality, claiming it was “indispensable to free expression”. To show his dedication to free expression, Twitter now is on a roll banning prominent right-wing figures. [The Trump administration said that net neutrality rules needed to be abandoned so the FCC would have the authority to prevent content providers like Twitter from censoring commentary. Now we get to see if the FCC actually will follow through on this promise. So far, not word.]
Dr. Jerome Corsi explains that George Soros promoted net neutrality through the FCC because it prevents the FCC from ending political censorship by content carriers like Google, Facebook, and Twitter, all of which engage in anti-conservative censorship. Ajit Pai, Chairman of the FCC, who challenged the net-neutrality fraud, finally made it possible for the FCC to break monopolies, enforce the First Amendment and prevent censorship. Now we shall see if it actually does these things.
Twitter has teamed up with the Jewish ADL to crackdown on the Alt-Right by kicking them off the platform, thus preventing their views from being heard by the mainstream public. Twitter will monitor user’s behavior “on and off the platform” and will suspend a user’s account if they affiliate with violent organizations. Twitter makes no mention of leftist violence by Antifa and Black Lives Matter.
