American University in Washington state, charges $48,000 per year in tuition, professors have been instructed to grade essays on the perceived effort, instead of the quality of the work. The stated purpose is to promote ‘anti-racism’ against “white language supremacy.” Professor Nicholas Giordano said that the National Report Card that studies graduating seniors showed that only 11% of US students are proficient in American history, 23% proficient in government and civics, 22% proficient in math, 34% proficient in reading, and 24% proficient in writing. Students have been taught how to take a test instead of being given knowledge and how to apply that knowledge in the real world.

There seems to be a mistake in this sentence: “The stated purpose is to promote ‘anti-racism’ and ‘white language supremacy.'” Ostensibly, the lowering of standards would not be intended to promote “white language supremacy,” but to end it. I do not agree with the program or its purported goal, I am only suggesting that the post is written incorrectly.
