Hillary Clinton Called for Gun Control Following Las Vegas Shooting

Hillary Clinton immediately responded to the Las Vegas shooting by calling for gun control. Tammy Bruce points out that 70% of Americans now use at least one prescription drug, with opioids and anti-depressants being the most common. Furthermore, anti-depressant drugs are known for triggering suicidal and homicidal impulses and often are linked to mass shootings. Any appraisal of what can be done to prevent mass shootings that ignores this issue is not a proposal for a solution but a ploy to use a great tragedy to disarm law-abiding citizens. There is no gun-control measure that could have stopped this shooting. -GEG
