Protesters demanded Mayor Khan resign and the ULEZ project be dismantled. The UK is one of the European countries that’s committed to the World Health Organization and World Economic Forum‘s goal of “Net Zero” emissions by 2050.

The ULEZ cameras scan your license plate then cross-check it with a database to determine if you meet emissions standards. If not, you’re fined £12.50 per day.
The dark green area represents the previous ULEZ, the bright green represents the expanded ULEZ that went into effect Tuesday.
