According to a new book, Peril, by Bob Woodward and Robert Costa, about the final days of the Trump presidency, General Mark Milley, the Joint Chiefs chairman called his counterpart in China on October 30, 2020 and said, “General Li, I want to assure you that the American government is stable and everything is going to be okay. We are not going to attack or conduct any kinetic operations against you.” He continued, General Li, you and I have known each other for five years. If we’re going to attack, I’m going to call you ahead of time. It’s not going to be a surprise.” If this is true, America’s top defense official colluded with our chief military rival to undercut the President of the United States. The book reported that, in early January, General Milley called a meeting of senior officials at the National Military Command Center and told them that they now report to him, not the President, and that they must follow no orders until consulting him. All present in the room agreed to this. [At this point, we have no way to judge if any of this is true, but it is likely that it would be folly for an author to make such statements unless he was prepared to prove them in court. We shall see what General Milley’s response will be.] -GEG

Tucker Carlson responded to the news that General Milley went behind President Trump’s back and promised to warn China ahead of any military operations, by labelling it “one of the scariest things that has ever happened in this country.”

“Let that sink in,” Carlson urged, quoting Milley allegedly saying to China’s top military commander, General Li Zuocheng “If we’re going to attack, I’m going to call you ahead of time. It’s not going to be a surprise.”

Carlson continued “So according to this account, our country’s top defense officials secretly colluded with our chief military rival to undercut the elected President of the United States.”

“That’s treason. It is a crime. And apparently, Mark Milley is not the only person who was implicated in this crime. Others knew it was happening,” Carlson continued.

“Our intelligence agencies almost certainly heard Mark Milley’s call. If they can read emails from a cable news show on Fox, what are the chances they were aware that the chairman of the joint chiefs of staff was speaking to a senior Chinese general and what they were saying,” Carlson said, referring to previous allegations that the U.S. intelligence spied on his communications.

Carlson concluded, “You often hear people say they’re worried about authoritarianism coming to America, well it’s here. That’s what this is. It’s authoritarian government. It’s government by unelected unaccountable leaders who are willing to use violence to preserve their power.”

Colorado Governor Pays Children to Get Tested for Covid and Encourages People to Lie to their Families about Getting Vaxxed

Governor Polis encouraged kids and spouses to lie about taking a Covid vaccine: “A spouse, a parent you live with who doesn’t want to get it, is against it… you can still privately get that vaccine without your partner knowing if that’s what keeps the harmony in the family and you are protecting yourself.”
