A group of eight Indiana University students have asked the Supreme Court to block the school’s mandate that students, faculty and staff be fully vaccinated beginning in the Fall semester. This follows two lower court rulings upholding the university’s requirement. The mandate applies to 90,000 students and 40,000 employees on seven campuses across Indiana. Students who do not comply are threatened with non-admittance, and workers who refuse will lose their jobs. The mandate contains exemptions for religious or medical reasons, but exempt students must be tested twice a week for COVID-19. A Supreme-Court ruling against the mandate could eliminate the testing as well. GEG

A group of eight Indiana University students have asked the Supreme Court to block the Big Ten school’s mandate that students, faculty and staff be fully vaccinated beginning in the fall semester.

The challenge follows two lower court rulings upholding the university’s requirement. The students submitted their request for an injunction to Justice Amy Coney Barrett, a former judge on the same appeals court where a three-judge panel voted unanimously to deny their petition Monday.

The students argue that they have “a constitutional right to bodily integrity, autonomy, and of medical treatment choice in the context of a vaccination mandate.”

From legal analyst Peggy Hall:

Peggy Hall explains that every employer, school, government agency and even the military must abide by Title 7 of the Civil Rights Act that prohibits discrimination at the workplace. No one may be discriminated against as an employee of a business. Businesses are required to accommodate their employees. She says that students have the right to be present on campus without taking the Covid vaccine, without wearing a mask, or taking Covid tests. The definition of human trafficking under federal law is using a person’s body or labor without compensation, and requiring the Covid vaccine is experimentation on the body without compensation.

‘Mandate’ has NO LEGAL MEANING/STANDING. Therefore, one cannot ‘block’ a ‘mandate’ in a court of Law. You, CAN, however, SUE on a whole host of other things. Violation of Rights; Coercion; Racketeering; Fraud; Conspiracy To Commit _________ <<< (insert the MANY Crimes there); ect.

First of all, we have three vaccines that don’t prevent Covid. Then we have cloth masks that do not prevent transmission of the virus. And we have mandates that won’t protect anyone on a college campus. What we have most of all are thousands of deaths from the three vaccines when there are drugs that work effectively but which the medical industrial complex isn’t recommending because their patents are up and Big Pharma doesn’t earn huge profits on. The idea of mandating any vaccine that doesn’t work is absurd. And the vaccine industry is now lying when they insist that… Read more »
