Shasta County, California: More than 80 residents and business owners last week held a rally outside of the Board of Supervisors chamber and demanded Shasta County re-open and lift its mask mandate. Carlos Zapata told the county leaders that families are starving and the restrictions on business are causing good law-abiding citizens to become revolutionaries who will go to war against them if they continue. He said six veterans in the area committed suicide after losing their jobs.

According to Wikipedia, Carlos Zapata is the current mayor of Palo Cedro, a small town in Shasta County with a population of 1,269 people. He is a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with 17 years’ experience teaching the art. He is the owner of Zapata Jiu-Jitsu Academy in Redding, California, and has trained Law Enforcement Agents from local police departments, sheriff’s offices, state and federal agencies as well as military personnel across every service. A man dressed in a vaccine costume also showed up to give his anti-vax testimony to the County Supervisors. -GEG

January 13, 2022 BBC 1

A Canadian father who has not been vaccinated against Covid has temporarily lost the right to see his 12-year-old child. A judge ruled his visits would not be in the child’s “best interest”. The judgement is the first depriving a parent of access rights on immunization grounds.
