St. Louis: Prosecuting attorney Kim Gardner, whose campaign was funded by George Soros, filed charges against Mark and Patricia McCloskey, the couple who protected their home with guns against organizes agitators who trespassed on private property. The McCloskeys have been charged with ‘Unlawful use of a weapon’ that could carry a four-year prison sentence. Within hours, Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt filed a brief seeking to dismiss Gardner’s charges against the McCloskeys on the grounds that they were legally exercising their Second-Amendment rights. Meanwhile, the violent trespassers are free. McCloskey says he will not be intimidated. -GEG
