White House COVID-19 Task Force Coordinator Says Death Statistics are Overstated

Earlier this week we published a story about CDC reporting guidelines that stated, “COVID-19 should be reported on death certificate for all decedents where the disease caused or is assumed to have caused or contributed to death.” That tells medical staff to attribute COVID-19 as the cause of death even if an underlying condition other than COVID-19 was the real cause, and even if the patient had never been tested for COVID-19. Dr. Birx, the White House Coronavirus Task Force coordinator, admitted on video, “…the intent is, right now, that if someone dies with COVID-19, we are counting that as a COVID-19 death.” There is a big difference between dying with the virus and from the virus. -GEG
