A second mass shooting took place, and Connor Betts, a 24-year old white man, was identified as the shooter and was killed at the scene after reportedly killing nine people and injuring 16 more. He was reported to have used an illegally-obtained high capacity rifle, and was wearing body armor. One of the victims was his sister, Megan Betts, and six of the nine victims were black. The shooting took place outside of Ned Peppers bar at 1:00 in the morning. An older photograph shows Betts in a vest with satanic images on it. He was a registered Democrat. Betts is a self-described “leftist” and “atheist” who praised Antifa, Bernie Sanders, and Elizabeth Warren and wrote on his Twitter Page “Kill every fascist”.
