Historically, London has had a murder rate than ranges from half to one-twentieth of the number of people killed in New York City since the 1800’s. Now it surpasses NYC, not just for murders, but rape as well. In fact, rape in London is triple the number in NYC. These increases are due in large part to the fact that Muslim Mayor Sadiq Khan ordered police to stop searching for weapons on non-white suspects. Also, police are unwilling to confront suspects knowing they will not be supported by their departments. Cressida Dick, who heads up the London police force, has refused to acknowledge that Pakistani Muslim grooming gangs are a problem. She says they have been in Britain for “centuries and centuries and centuries.” The rise in crime and violence, she says, is caused by social media – and the solution, of course, is more control over the Internet and more money for a larger police force.
