All five Berkeley Antifa members were found ‘not guilty’ of misdemeanor assault, despite testimony from a police sergeant and firemen who saw the attack. Judge Alison Tucher allowed dozens of Antifa supporters who filled the audience to remain in the courtroom despite outbursts, hissing, and booing. The judge did not follow legal procedures and allowed intimidation in the courtroom.
The Berkeley City Council unanimously voted in a plan for climate regulations and put on record their desire to “humanely stabilize population”, a euphemism for depopulation, which is the ultimate goal of Agenda 21. The city urges surrounding municipalities and the state of California to buy into its hysteria and to impose harsh regulations that will affect energy, building, the electricity grid and transportation.
Berkeley Police Chief Andrew Greenwood wanted the city council to authorize the police to use pepper spray on violent protesters, which he said should be preferred over using batons and physical force. This video dramatically shows the propaganda rhetoric of professional organizers, some of whom endorse communist ideology and tactics.
Ann Coulter was sponsored by two student groups, YAF (Young America’s Foundation) and the Berkeley College Republicans to deliver a speech at UC Berkeley opposing illegal immigration. She challenged Berkeley police to not stand down in the event of violence. YAF pulled its support and prevented the Berkeley College Republicans from taking legal action to require the college to provide a room for the speech.
Conservative commentator Ann Coulter’s April 27th appearance at UC Berkeley was cancelled by the school, citing security concerns. The group that invited Coulter believes she was banned because she demanded that UC Chancellor Janet Napolitano ask the Oakland police chief not to order his officers to stand-down if unrest ensued.
President Trump proposed cutting federal funds from the University of California at Berkeley after leftist students rioted against a planned speech by conservative figure, Milo Yiannopoulos. The organized mob shut down free speech and threatened those with an opposing viewpoint. The University of California president, former Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, has declared the campus a sanctuary for immigrants.
California: Here are scenes of violence from the cancelled Milo Yiannopoulos appearance, caused by so-called anti-fascist groups. The masked protesters set fires, broke windows, assaulted attendees with fists and pepper spray, and chased them down in the streets, using flag poles to beat a man unconscious.
