Russia Accuses US of Drone Attack on Kremlin

Two drones were brought down by Russian air defenses in the early hours of Wednesday morning, according to the Kremlin. The Russian government is accusing the United States of masterminding an assassination attempt on President Vladimir Putin in a drone attack at his residence in the Kremlin. The video footage of the drones over the Russian Senate in Moscow is unverified. The last two days have been a back-and-forth of accusations between Ukraine, the US, and Russia. President Volodymyr Zelensky vehemently denied Russian claims that Ukraine had anything to do with Wednesday’s drone attack. A critic pointed out that it would be very difficult to evade Russian air defense systems except for the one just above its target.

Max Blumenthal of the Gray Zone tweeted that Zelenskyy is denying responsibility for the attempted drone attack that would bring WWIII closer and that forces tied to his regime have been incentivizing precisely this kind of operation. The Gray Zone reported days before the failed drone attack that Ukrainian banking baron Volodymyr Yatsenko offered a $500,000 bounty to any weapons maker able to land a drone in Red Square during Moscow’s upcoming Victory Day parade.

The Russian government is accusing the United States of masterminding an assassination attempt on President Vladimir Putin in a drone attack at his residence in the Kremlin. Two drones were brought down by Russian air defenses in the early hours of Wednesday morning, the Kremlin said in a statement. Putin was not in residence at the time of the alleged attack.

The last two days have been a back-and-forth of accusations between Ukraine, the U.S., and Russia.

On Wednesday, the Kremlin released a statement claiming that two “unmanned aerial vehicles” or drones had been taken down using “radar warfare systems” in what was called a “terrorist attack … and an attempt on the president’s life,” according to the Guardian. The Kremlin added: “The Russian side reserves the right to take retaliatory measures where and when it sees fit.” Moscow had initially accused Ukraine of the attack which Kyiv immediately denied.

One day later, footage was published online appearing to show one of the drones being shot down over the Russian Senate and another showing smoke billowing from the building. Moscow would then go on to accuse the U.S. of aiding Ukraine in the attack. “Attempts to disown this, both in Kyiv and in Washington, are, of course, absolutely ridiculous,” Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Thursday, Reuters reported. “We know very well that decisions about such actions, about such terrorist attacks, are made not in Kyiv but in Washington.”

The incident took place less than one week from Russia’s May 9 Victory Day parade — a celebration commemorating the Soviet Union’s defeat of Nazi Germany in World War II, or the Great Patriotic War, as it is called in Russia.

The media reports that there is an outbreak of avian bird flu (H5N1) that has spread to two dozen herds of cattle across eight states. Critics are concerned that the H5N1 bird flu virus will be used as an excuse to throttle the meat supply and call for a pandemic lockdown.

Anyone recall the movie “Independence Day”? – Well it certainly wasn’t that level. Looked more like a stunt firework to kick off May Day celebrations & likely/ironically a false flag to justify more random civilian bombing of Ukraine. If it truly was not the Russians themselves that pulled this off, then the ‘killing’ of the flag was strictly symbolic & precise. Food for thought.

The failure of the drone attack could be evidence of the Biden administration’s involvement. Obama let the Iranians land and copy America’s state of the art drone and I expect Biden might like to do likewise. But his surrender and gifts to the Taliban in Afghanistan probably exceeded Obama’s gift to radical Islamic terrorists and should satisfy him in doing his part to destroy America and undermine the entire Free World!
