The author of the study said, “We can no longer say this is a pandemic of the unvaccinated.” The article neglected to point out that people have been counted as unvaccinated until 2 weeks after they received the shot, and people whose vaccine status was unknown were also counted as unvaccinated.
Fifty-eight percent of Americans who died of COVID-19 in August were recipients of at least the first vaccine, a study has suggested.
Conducted for The Washington Post’s The Health 202 by Cynthia Cox — who is vice president at the Kaiser Family Foundation — the results are the first time this has been the case since the novel virus was first tracked in 2020.
“We can no longer say this is a pandemic of the unvaccinated,” Cox told The Health 202.

The premise is quite possibly incorrect as deaths from COVID may certainly have comorbidities. The tests are inaccurate, symptoms vague, and hospitals are grossly reimbursed for COVID diagnoses.

I would have thought it was more.

It sounds like they are using a low threshold for classifying someone as “unvaccinated” as a means of concealing the harmful effects of the clot shots. It almost looks like a form of damage control; think of how bad it would have looked if it had said that something like 80 percent of the COVID deaths were among the “vaccinated”.
