House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, who has subpoena power, obtained the phone records from AT&T and Verizon for Republican Devin Nunes, Trump attorneys Rudy Giuliani and Jay Sekulow, reporter John Solomon, former Giuliani associate Lev Parnas, and the White House itself. Requested data included phone numbers and length of calls but not the content of the calls.
Nunes said that a new precedent has been set by obtaining phone records with a subpoena without a warrant. The phone companies appeared to comply without question. Tom Fitton of Judicial Watch says the subpoena of data from Trump’s lawyers may have violated attorney-client privilege for confidentiality relating to President Trump. Michael Cohen, another attorney that worked for Trump, had his office raided in 2018 with complete disregard for the President’s attorney-client privilege. -GEG
The report says, “President Trump’s scheme subverted U.S. foreign policy toward Ukraine and undermined our national security in favor of two politically motivated investigations that would help his presidential reelection campaign…The inquiry uncovered a months-long effort by President Trump to use the powers of his office to solicit foreign interference on his behalf in the 2020 election.”
Speaking to reporters after the report’s release, Schiff said, “It is deeply concerning that at a time when the president of the United States was using the power of his office to dig up dirt on a political rival, that there may be evidence that there were members of Congress complicit in that activity.”
White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham said in a statement, the document “reads like the ramblings of a basement blogger straining to prove something when there is evidence of nothing…At the end of a one-sided sham process, Chairman Schiff and the Democrats utterly failed to produce any evidence of wrongdoing by President Trump. This report reflects nothing more than their frustrations.”

Based on 20 years of observation and data, scientists are predicting that the sun will be nearly seven percent cooler and dimmer by 2050 causing a ‘mini ice age’. [The real deniers in the climate-change controversy are those who deny that global warming is a politically motivated myth.]

Offline is a documentary on the inevitability of the Earth being slammed by a mega solar flare – not the common type that interrupts communications and creates a light show in the Northern skies – but the big brothers thousands of times more powerful. These monsters deliver enough energy to blow apart the master transformers that supply the planet’s energy grids. When that happens, the lights go out for longer than anyone wants to think about. These X-Class solar storms hit the Earth every 150 years, on average. The last one arrived 156 years ago. We are overdue (More)
