California: Five Republican candidates are losing their leads from election results that were posted last week, including US Representative Dana Rohrabacher; the race was called in his district in favor of Democrat challenger Harley Rouda. California takes a long time to count its ballots because of new laws supposedly aimed at including more voters. The laws include accepting mail-in ballots within three days of the election, following up with voters over mis-matched signatures, and the state allows voters to register on Election Day, which take more time to be processed.
Several California Republicans who appeared to have held onto their congressional seats on Election Day saw their leads narrowed — or reversed — as late ballots continued to be counted, almost uniformly helping Democrats.
In the 10th congressional district, Democrat Josh Harder had taken a lead of over 3,000 votes over Republican incumbent Jeff Denham by Saturday evening. Denham led by a slim margin on Election Day.
In the 48th district, incumbent Republican Dana Rohrabacher saw a small Election Day lead reversed decisively, and the race was called for Democrat challenger Harley Rouda.
In the 39th and 45th districts, Republicans Young Kim and Rep. Mimi Walters narrowly clung to leads that had diminished to just over 2,000 votes in both cases, with many more ballots still to be counted.
And in the 50th district, which the Associated Press called for incumbent Republican Duncan Hunter, Democrat challenger Ammar Campa-Najjar has refused to concede, citing the possibility of late counted ballots giving him a win.

The COVID-19 fatality rate for children is so low that the CDC calculates it at 0.0% for anyone under 19 years of age. Isolation creates depression, lack of sleep, poor cardiovascular function, cognitive decline, and impaired immunity. This is a must-watch.
The tests for the coronavirus are incapable of distinguishing between COVID-19 and many other viruses, including seasonal flu. For all we know, the so-called “cases” of COVID-19 could be responses to other things. The entire charade of “case” statistics is theater, not science.

The California Assembly voted in favor of a bill to repeal a law from the 1950’s that prohibits communists from holding state government jobs. The previous law recognized that the Communist movement is, not merely a political party seeking influence through fair elections, but a militant organization seeking to create a one-party, totalitarian system in which elections are meaningless.
