Nearly half a million people die from cardiac arrest / heart attacks each year. Two thirds of heartattack victims die because they do not receive any attempts to resuscitate them, because most people are afraid to make mouth-to-mouth contact.  Here is a procedure that eliminates the breathing technique altogether and is concerned only with stimulating the heart. Dr. Oz says to, first, call 911 for help, then place hands between the victim’s nipples and press down two inches deep, one hundred times per minute, to induce the heart to beat.  He says to keep going until the person is revived or help arrives. -GEG
