Did Police Stand Down During Riots in Philadelphia?

The Philadelphia Eagles won the Super Bowl, and hundreds of fans rioted, tearing up the city and destroying property. [When you look at these videos of violence and looting, you cannot help wondering what the police were doing during this time. Is violence now tolerated in order to further condition law-abiding citizens that martial law is necessary? Please let us know if there is an explanation from police for not preventing this. That’s what they are paid to do.]

She tried to work with the police by providing march routes and other information that could help avoid violence and keep both sides safe. Now she knows that Antifa is not a protest or reform movement but a relatively small group of professionally trained commandos seeking (with the help of their comrades in the media) to create the appearance of widespread outrage against the present administration. Antifa now considers her to be a police informant and a potential threat to others, causing her to feel suicidal.

Baltimore Murder Rate Spikes from Lack of Police Presence

In the final week of 2017, Baltimore reported a total of 343 homicides. The murder rate has skyrocketed since members of Black Lives Matter began justifying violence as retaliation against law enforcement for the death of Freddie Gray, a 25-year-old black man who died in the back of a police van in 2015. Residents now are blaming the murder spike on the lack of police action in the city, which is what BLM called for.
