Law professor, Jonathan Turley, says that Democrats are laying a perjury trap for Judge Kavanaugh by asking detailed questions about inscriptions in his yearbook and drinking games from 35 years ago. If he is confirmed, Democrats plan to impeach him on the basis of contradictions in his testimony about sexual terms, such as “boofed”, in his yearbook. The scope of the subject matter has expanded to details going back decades, opening the door so that any question may be asked of a nominee now. Impeachment is usually in response to a violation that was committed while in office. If the Democrats do impeach Kavanaugh, it will put all judges at risk for impeachment every time there is a change in the party that holds the temporary majority. -GEG
