She followed the Constitution and trusted the citizens to make their own decisions. South Dakota had the lowest unemployment rate and the fewest businesses failures.
An Arizona restaurant owner says that many of her furloughed employees are staying home and have told her their pay from the government is better than working at her restaurant. She says there are about 30 job openings, but rehiring is challenging because people are comfortable with unemployment benefits.
Approximately one-third of the entire population of the globe now is under some sort of a lockdown order. A few are able to work at home, but the vast majority are forcibly unemployed. Many small businesses will not survive the folly of their leaders, and the number of homeless will drastically rise.
