Biden Administration Lost Track of 5,000 Migrant Children, Possibly Sold into Child Sex Trafficking

US: The federal government has lost contact with around 5,000 out of 15,000 children who were released into the interior of the US between January and May. Health and Human Services no longer has legal oversight once the children leave their custody. The Biden administration eased the vetting process for sponsors because facilities were crowded. Sponsors no longer have to be fingerprinted to claim a child from border patrol custody. Almost anyone who who is not a known, violent felon and who claims to be a relative can claim a child. Critics are concerned that children are being trafficked for labor and sex. Last week, we reported the story of a Department of Homeland Security insider who blew the whistle on gangs on the Transnational Organized Crime watch lists who migrate to the US and receive protected status. The gangs are involved in child sex trafficking and are an extreme danger to unaccompanied migrant children. Six years ago, a Senate report showed that the Obama administration was caught placing tens of thousands of migrant children with traffickers. -GEG

Thousands of unaccompanied children who illegally crossed the border are now unaccounted for after being carelessly released by the Biden regime to poorly vetted sponsors.

According to a Freedom of Information Act request that was submitted by Axios, The federal government has inexplicably lost contact with around 5,000 out of almost 15,000 children who were released into the interior of the US between January and May.

Efforts to reach them by phone have gone unanswered.

Additionally, the administration has not even attempted to make contact with more than half of the total number of kids that have been released to sponsors through those first five months. HHS had released 32,000 children and teens, but only attempted fewer than 15,000 check-up calls.

The agency has declined to comment on if they are making all of the required check up calls.

The revelations are just the latest example of the Biden Regime’s negligence, especially when it comes to the most vulnerable. They have essentially dropped some of these kids directly into the rampant child trafficking industry surrounding the border.

Concerns for the children’s safety are growing, the federal government has already opened an investigation into if dozens of migrant children were released to labor traffickers, according to Bloomberg Law.

The whole situation is a mess.

Officials have made efforts to contact them, but have been unable to reach either the children or their sponsors. An HHS spokesperson said its because many of the unvetted sponsors don’t want to be found.

US: Homeland Security Insider Blows Whistle on Child Sex Trafficking Gangs

A whistleblower inside the Department of Homeland Security said that known criminal gang members who are listed on the ‘Transnational Organized Crime’ watchlist because they caused trouble in other countries are being allowed to cross the border and come into the United States so long as they say their lives would be in danger if they retured to their country of origin. This changes the normal process of immigration, allowing their names to be removed from the watchlist, and they can receive protections similar to asylum seekers. These criminals are even issued work permits. The whistleblower stated that all of these Transnational Criminal Organizations are involved in child sex trafficking. Gang members are sponsoring and taking custody as the guardians of ‘unaccompanied children’ who cross the border into the US. Children are being enslaved while America is overtaken by criminals. -GEG

BREAKING: DHS Insider Blows Whistle on International Child Sex Trafficking Gangs Exploiting ‘Reasonable Fear’ Loophole … ‘Every Single One of These Transnational Criminal Organizations Are Involved in Sex Trafficking’

  • Department of Homeland Security [DHS] Insider: “Once an [illegal immigrant] informs the U.S. government that they have some type of fear, or that their life is in jeopardy, or they’ll be persecuted, or they may be tortured, they are put in what’s called the ‘reasonable fear [category]’…Once [a migrant gang member] makes the declaration of, ‘My life is in danger and I may be harmed if I return home,’ they’re taken off the [Transnational Organized Crime] watchlist. That makes it a giant loophole.”
  • DHS Insider: “Some of these [migrant gang members] are encountered by Border Patrol and they’re asked right away, ‘Do you fear for your life if you are deported?’ They’ll say no, and then the next day they’ll say yes.”
  • DHS Insider: “It’s almost like they [migrant gang members] are coached, ‘Hey if you get caught, just go ahead and say this.’”
  • DHS Insider: It is not true that migrant gang members are in danger if they were to be returned to their country of origin.
  • DHS Insider: “These are the people that are causing danger in those foreign countries. That’s why they’re on the Transnational Organized Crime [TOC] watchlist.  So, they are allowed to stay in the country while they wait for the asylum claims…They will be able to file for what is called the Employment Authorization Card. This essentially is a work permit, and they’re allowed to stay legally under the protections of this [permit].”
  • DHS Insider: “This to me is a bigger problem than terrorism is right now within the country…Every single one of these Transnational Criminal Organizations are involved in sex trafficking.”
  • DHS Insider: “Children are the most vulnerable population of any society. So, when you’re sending kids to a place with no family [accompanying them] – or when the only family or guardians [they have] are known gang members, they’re even more vulnerable.”
  • DHS Insider: “If I was to go to any other media organization [besides Project Veritas], like The Washington Post or CNN — they’re just mouthpieces for the administration…they won’t report the information.”

Foster Parents and Their Children Removed from Home to Make Room for Migrant Children

Kirkland, Washington: The Friends of Youth, a non-profit organization that provides housing for foster children and services for homeless youth, kicked two foster parents and four minors out of the house it owns. One of the teens ran away after hearing about the impending eviction. The Friends of Youth is repurposing the house to accommodate “unaccompanied children” from the US-Mexico border. This report indicates that the Friends of Youth may be receiving funding from the federal Refugee Resettlement program. Research from the Center for Immigration Studies released in 2020 found that American taxpayers are billed up to $133,000 per refugee resettled in America. -GEG

A foster home for struggling youth in Washington has been ordered to be vacated to make room for migrant children who are surging over the border in record numbers.

California: Foster Parents Asked to Take In ’26 or More’ Minors as Unaccompanied Migrant Children Flood the Border

The Community Care Licensing Division of California contacted foster parents Travis and Sharla Kall asking them to take in 26 unaccompanied children who crossed the border in record numbers. Other foster parents have received the same request. Usually six children is the maximum number that may be fostered. The Kalls said that there are over 30,000 children in the Los Angeles County foster care system alone, and the system is already overwhelmed before taking children from another country. Travis and his wife run a non-profit fighting against human trafficking in California, and they believe this is just the tip of a sinister iceberg. He said that he considers it human trafficking, because flooding the border with kids is a money scheme, and now foster parents will be used to take care of them. Sharla Kall said that there is a federal law that allows migrant children who enter foster care to gain citizenship immediately. -GEG

  • Foster parents Travis and Sharla Kall received a voicemail from the Community Care Licensing Division asking how many available beds they have for unaccompanied migrant youths
  • ‘Usually the maximum amount of children you are allowed to foster at any one time is six,’ Travis told DailyMail.com
  • The couple are currently fostering two four-month-old twins while also caring for their six-year-old biological twins
  • The CCLD  said in an email they are ‘trying to address the needs of a record number of unaccompanied children who are arriving from Central America’
  • The organization said the migrant children ‘are escaping impossible situations such as poverty, violence and natural disasters’
  • Travis, who along with his wife runs a non-profit fighting against human trafficking in California, believes this is just the tip of a sinister iceberg

California foster parents are being asked to care for a staggering 26 or more unaccompanied migrant children per household, DailyMail.com can reveal.

On March 12, foster parents Travis, 45, and Sharla Kall received a voicemail amid the crisis at the Mexico border.

‘This is an emergency message, please respond to this urgent message from the Community Care Licensing Division (CCLD),’ the voicemail obtained by DailyMail.com said. ‘CCLD would like to know how many available beds you have to serve additional youth.’

CCLD is a division of California’s Department of Social Services that oversees foster home and care licensing.

The couple received an email with the same urgent message, containing links for them to communicate how many available beds they have – ranging from zero to ’26 +.’

US-Mexico Human Smugglers at the Border Earned $14M a Day in February

Criminal organizations trafficking women, children, families and single adults over the US-Mexico border earned as much as $14-million a day in February, according to border patrol sources. Some migrants use their life savings to cross the border while others either become indentured servants or engage in crime to pay the debt. The influx of illegal aliens costs US taxpayers over $5-million a day. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said the US has a responsibility to allow children who make it to the border to make their claims under US law. However, an appeals court this year found the US is not legally obligated to accept unaccompanied minors. Mayorkas said he wants more diversity in America and fired 32 members from the DHS advisory board on Friday, including all of the Trump administration appointees. -GEG

Criminal organizations trafficking women, children, families and single adults over the U.S.-Mexico border earned as much as $14 million a day in February, according to border patrol sources.

“Trafficking is a multibillion-dollar industry,” said former Tucson Border Patrol Chief Roy Villareal, who retired in December after 30 years with the agency. “A lot of these vulnerable populations use their life savings. Some are essentially indentured servants and they’re working off this debt for a long period of time. In other cases, some of these migrants are asked to transport narcotics or some form of crime to work off a different part of their debt.”

The human smuggling windfall comes as U.S. taxpayer costs for the border crisis continue to spike, topping $5 million a day, based on 2019 figures provided by Health and Human Services that put daily “influx” shelter costs at $800 per migrant. Additionally, last week the Biden administration awarded a $86 million contract for hotel rooms to hold 1,200 migrant families as the crisis exceeds ICE holding capacity.

The US-Mexico Border Is Overflowing with Illegal Migrants as the Biden Administration Encourages Unaccompanied Minors

Last month, US Customs and Border Protection apprehended 100,000 illegal migrants in California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas, but that number is expected to double to 200,000 per month. Most will remain here permanently. The Democrat party wants them to become citizens and registered voters. The US has never had demographic change this quickly. The Biden administration announced an end to the deportation of unaccompanied minors, causing a surge of children at the border, with 15,000 of them being held in US facilities.

Joe Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) will pay a Texas-based nonprofit to provide $86-million worth of hotel rooms for six months for approximately 1,200 families who cross the southern border. DHS confirmed the arrangement. The hotel rooms will be in Arizona and Texas near the southern border and will serve as welcoming centers for Illegal migrants who the Biden administration is hoping to quickly release into the US interior. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is spending $110-million for “eligible local nonprofit and governmental organizations and state governmental facilities that aid migrants apprehended and released into the interior of the US. -GEG

President Joe Biden’s administration has awarded a taxpayer-funded contract to pay for hotel rooms for border crossers arriving at the United States-Mexico border.

An Axios report reveals that Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) will pay a Texas-based nonprofit to provide $86 million worth of hotel rooms for six months for approximately 1,200 families who cross the southern border. DHS confirmed the arrangement.

The hotel rooms, according to Axios, will be in Arizona and Texas near the southern border and will serve as welcoming centers for border crossers whom the Biden administration is hoping to quickly release into the U.S. interior.

Already, detention facilities at the southern border are being reworked to become similar-style welcoming centers for border crossers where adults and children are released within a 72-hour period. The administration is looking to welcome nearly 120,000 Unaccompanied Alien Children (UACs) into the U.S. this year.

In addition, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is spending $110 million for “eligible local nonprofit and governmental organizations and state governmental facilities that have aided, or will aid” border crossers apprehended and released into the U.S. interior.

This week, DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas confirmed to lawmakers the agency had been releasing border crossers into the U.S. interior who were not tested for the coronavirus and, it was discovered, were carrying the virus.

More than 100,000 Migrants Flooded US Borders in February. 13,000 Children are in US Custody. Just the Beginning…

Illegal immigration surged at the southern border after President Biden assumed office. The Biden administration ordered the halting of the construction of the border wall on his first day in office and he reversed a policy that required asylum seekers to go back to Mexico while they wait for hearing dates. More than 100,000 migrants attempted to cross the border in February and more than 9,000 children crossed without a parent or guardian. More than 13,000 children are in US custody, and CNN reported they are being held in overcrowded facilities, confined in small spaces, and don’t see sunlight or shower for days. Reporters have been blocked from touring the facilities. Investigative journalist Drew Hernandez reported that, in addition to child smuggling, “we have all these pedophiles, rapists, and kidnappers being released into the United States.” -GEG

Amid the largest surge in migrant arrivals in 20 years and a rise in the number of unaccompanied children crossing the southern border, officials continued to urge people not to make the journey towards the United States.

In an interview with ABC News on Tuesday, President Joe Biden cited a “mess that was inherited” from his predecessor Donald Trump and repeated the White House message that now is not the time for would-be migrants and asylum seekers to show up at US borders.

“Yes, I can say quite clearly: don’t come over,” Biden said.

“The process is getting set up – and it’s not gonna take a whole long time – is to be able to apply for asylum in place,” he said. “So don’t leave your town or city or community.”

Biden’s ‘Kids in Cages’ Prove Hypocrisy on Immigration

Joe Biden and Kamala Harris savaged President Donald Trump for keeping “kids in cages.” But now they’re doing the same thing by housing 700 migrant teens in some of the very same facilities they decried. Biden is ending Trump’s “Remain in Mexico” program for Central American asylum seekers, which took pressure off the border. This now leaves two choices: Let them in or or hold them in a temporary facility while their immigration papers are processed. The number of Unaccompanied Alien Children illegally crossing the border from Mexico into the US is increasing from month to month, according to reports from US Customs and Border Protection officials. In January 2021, Border Patrol agents apprehended 5,871 unaccompanied minors, nearly doubling the number from a year ago of 3,076 children in January 2020. -GEG

Joe Biden and Kamala Harris savaged President Donald Trump for keeping “kids in cages.” But now they’re doing the same thing — and undoing the Trump policies that had mitigated the underlying problem.

That is, the Biden administration is housing migrant teens in some of the very same facilities they decried. It’s not really “kids in cages” — or even “kids in containers,” as critics have said of the pod-like structures in Carrizo Springs, Texas, holding up to 700 teens the White House says came to the country unaccompanied. But it’s also not a solution.

Biden-Harris are also reopening an overflow facility in Homestead, Fla., which Harris sought to protest in 2019. The year before, she called Trump’s treatment of migrants a “crime against humanity.”

Of course, many of these facilities opened under President Barack Obama, famously leading Trump to ask Biden in a debate, “Who built the cages, Joe?” But the media blamed it all on Trump, who pursued similar policies to Obama’s before finding a better way, namely working with Mexican and Central American governments to stem the tide of illegal immigration — agreements Biden has unilaterally junked.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and others on the left who think that the Department of Homeland Security “shouldn’t exist” essentially want open borders. Biden claims he doesn’t agree, but then why is he repeating the mistakes of the past?

Obama first sparked the mass waves of illegal immigrants pouring over the border, because his promised amnesty for Dreamers led Central Americans to think they’d be legalized, too. Now the new president is pushing for a path to citizenship for millions of illegal immigrants even as he put a 100-day moratorium on deportations.

Illegal Immigrant Allegedly Paid $130 to “Rent” a Child to Cross the Border

Lukeville, Arizona: Maynor Velasquez Molina, a migrant from Guatemalan, is accused of “renting” an 8-year-old boy and purchasing a fraudulent birth certificate for him, all in an attempt to pass him off as his son to US Border Patrol in February. A federal grand jury indicted Velasquez in Arizona for human smuggling. Immigration enforcement officials are adopting a number of new policies to fight the influx of fake families. Border Patrol agents are rolling out a DNA testing program, fingerprinting children and allocating more resources to the border to investigate fraud.

A Guatemalan man is accused of spending money to “rent” a boy and
purchasing a fraudulent birth certificate for him, all in an attempt to
pass him off as family to U.S. Border Patrol.

Maynor Velasquez
Molina, a migrant from Guatemalan, and an 8-year-old boy were among a
group of 101 illegal immigrants who crossed the U.S.-Mexico border near
Lukeville, Arizona, on Feb. 18, according to a criminal complaint
reported by the Arizona Daily Star. Velasquez claimed to Border Patrol
agents that the boy was his son, but agents learned four days later that
the Guatemalan birth certificate was bogus.

When
questioned by Homeland Security Investigations, Velasquez reportedly
claimed that “he had looked for a child in Guatemala to cross the United
States/Mexico international border with as he was told that it was
easier to get into the United Stats with a child,” read the complaint.

The
illegal migrant allegedly paid the boy’s father roughly $130 — or 1,000
quetzales — to rent the child for the trip and paid $130 to another
individual to produce a fake birth certificate for the child. The two
then traveled together by bus to the U.S. southern border.

A federal grand jury indicted Velasquez in Tucson, Arizona, for human smuggling on March 27.

“The
surge of illegal alien family units and fraudulent ‘family units’
attempting to cross the border is largely the result of loopholes in
U.S. immigration law,” read a statement from the Trump administration.
“Migrants know that, as a result of these loopholes, if they unlawfully
arrive at our border with a minor, they will be promptly released in the
American communities.”

Trump Expanded ‘Catch and Release’ that Is Bringing Massive Waves of Immigration

Last month, Trump expanded the ‘Catch and Release’ program and he also created virtual amnesty for any illegal alien living in the same household with Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC), causing massive migration to the US.  Trump has failed to deliver a wall and the majority of the US-Mexico border remains open. At the same time, the US has continued funding border walls and border security programs in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Egypt, and Lebanon.

Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen reported almost one million people are expected to try to illegally enter the US and they will overwhelm the system.  She said that there was an 80% increase over the number of people trying to enter the US last year at this time.

President Trump is projected to oversee the largest flow of illegal immigration at the United States-Mexico border since former President Bush’s administration, surpassing every year of crossings under former President Obama.

As Breitbart News
reported, more than 76,000 border crossers attempted to enter the U.S.
in the month of February — the most apprehensions of illegal border
crossers and migrants in this month in 12 years.

While Trump’s administration expanded
the Catch and Release program last month and Department of Homeland
Security (DHS) Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen focuses her attention on
cybersecurity and terrorism issues, the U.S. is projected to see a level
of illegal immigration this year that will surpass every year of
illegal immigration under Obama.

Princeton Policy Advisors researcher Steven Kopits estimates that
there will be about 775,000 illegal border crossings this year when the
last month’s border data is analyzed. This would indicate that Trump’s
overseeing of the crisis at the southern border would reach Bush era
levels of mass illegal immigration when, in many years, more than
illegal border crossings occurred in a single year.

In the past, Kopits has projected
that there would be about 606,000 border crossings this year, the most
illegal immigration since Fiscal Year 2008 when Bush was still in
office.

Now, Kopits predicts illegal immigration to reach “a phenomenal pace
of acceleration” at the southern border this year. The researcher also
expects up to half a million border crossers will successfully enter the country through the border this year.

Should illegal immigration hit the level of 775,000 attempted border
crossings this year, as Kopits projects, this would be nearly double
what illegal immigration was in Obama’s last Fiscal Year.

Simultaneously, about 224,000
Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC) are resettled across the U.S. every
half decade after arriving at the border. The resettlement policy, often
used by MS-13 gang members, is expected to be exacerbated after Trump signed into law a quasi-amnesty for any illegal alien living in the same household with a UAC.

The vast majority
of voters say a border wall would be effective in stopping illegal
immigration, though that has not equated to progress on constructing new
barriers at the border.

What Good Is A Wall? Trump Signed a Bill to Increase Immigration and Make It Impossible to deport Illegal Aliens

Commentator Gary Gileno reports that President Trump signed a spending bill that includes measures that makes it impossible to deport illegal aliens who have relatives, sponsors, or even fiends of unaccompanied alien children, which is chain migration on steroids. The new law forces ICE agents to release border crossers into the interior of the country, making it essentially impossible to ever deport them. Illegal aliens now will flood into America in greater numbers than ever before. Mr. Trump could have vetoed the measure and led opposition to it. He did neither. –GEG

Obama’s Former Border Patrol Chief Says MS-13 Gang Laughs at How Easy It Is to Cross the US Border

New York: Three MS-13 gang members, who are illegal aliens, beat up two high school students – stabbing one of them in the back.  The illegals entered the US in 2016 as unaccompanied alien children, meaning they crossed the border without parents and were quickly released into American neighborhoods to await deportation that never happened.  The Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act and a Clinton-era court settlement, called the Flores agreement, requires that children traveling without parents must be quickly released to social workers who administer benefits.  Mark Morgan, Obama’s former Border Patrol chief, says that MS-13 gang members “laugh” at how easy it is to cross the southern border. Morgan recently was fired by President Trump. [The reason coming into the US illegally is easy is that it is intended to be, not because MS-13 is clever. Globalist moles in the US government have done their work well.] -GEG

If the Trump administration had its way, Ramon Arevalo Lopez and Oscar Canales Molina would have been either in detention or deported.

Instead, they were out on the streets — thanks to judges’ orders — where, according to police, they and another illegal immigrant delivered an MS-13 gang beat-down to two high school students in New York.

All three of the illegal immigrants entered the U.S. in 2016 as unaccompanied alien children, meaning they crossed the border without parents — a status that earned them a quick release into the country, where they were quickly reunited with their family and began to live while awaiting deportations that never came.

For Homeland Security Department officials, it’s the latest sign of a legal system that stymies their efforts to oust dangerous figures.

“One of the loopholes we are imploring Congress to close could have prevented this gruesome attack,” said Katie Waldman, a Homeland Security spokeswoman.

The three illegal immigrants got into a melee outside a Burger King in Huntington Station, New York, one afternoon last week. One of the teens was stabbed in the back, according to local news reports.

Authorities didn’t have a specific motive for the attack but said the victims were inside eating, saw the boys they knew from high school giving them menacing looks, and decided to leave.

The three illegal immigrants were found later with bloodstained hands and clothes, and their names popped up as MS-13 members in a check of a gang-records database.

Why they were in the country and out on the streets that day is one of the more bizarre twists of U.S. legal policy on illegal immigrants.
