After 2 Years, the FBI Has Failed to Find a Motive and Wrapped Up the Case, Yet Many Mysteries Remain Unanswered

Las Vegas: Authorities have failed to find a motive for the Las Vegas mass shooting two years ago, despite watching video, conducting interviews, listening to 911 emergency phone calls and scouring every detail of Paddock’s life. Paddock is said to have brought 23 bags of weapons up to his room at Mandalay Bay, which is the theory for liability against the hotel. The theory for the motive of the shooting is that Paddock was an aging man with health and financial problems who wanted to gain infamy.  It is a mystery as to why local police waited over an hour to storm Paddock’s room. Paramedic Amber Ratto said that reports of shootings were called in from multiple casinos, including the Tropicana. The final criminal investigation report is 187 pages, with a 3-page summary, and is linked below.

Las Vegas PD body cam video featuring Jesus Campos was released to the public in 2018 and contains discrepancies that include the video time stamp of 10/2/2017, the day after the shooting event. Campos says in this video that he was shot in the leg by a .22 or pellet gun instead of a high powered assault weapon.

Jesus Campos was interviewed by Ellen DeGeneres.

On the One-Year Anniversary of the Las Vegas Mass Shooting, More Details Point to a Cover Up

The Las Vegas mass shooting that reportedly killed 58 people took place on October 1, 2017, and is still shrouded in mystery, due to secrecy, incompetence and a massive cover up.  A former CIA officer with Americans for Intelligence Reform revealed more strange circumstances that have been left unexplained and un-investigated.  The final official report claimed that there was no evidence that shooter Stephen Paddock colluded with anyone, however, a TSA agent at the concert witnessed suspicious activity, the door between the suites was locked, and the hard drive was missing from one of the computers. Additionally, Brian Hodges claimed he was in the room next door to Paddock’s, yet he has never been questioned, despite a weird coincidence linking him to Paddock’s girlfriend, Marilu Danley.

Las Vegas Police Close Investigation on Mass Shooting Because They Say They Can’t Figure Out the Motive

Las Vegas Sheriff Joe Lombardo released the final police report on the mass shooting that reportedly killed 58 people and injured hundreds more last October. The case is being closed because police say they were unable to figure out the motive behind Stephen Paddock shooting at concert-goers. [This apparently is sufficient reason to close down an investigation that strongly suggests that the reason no one can figure out Paddock’s motive is that Paddock was not the shooter. Never mind details that have not been widely reported in the media that include the ever-changing timeline of events, proof of multiple shooters, evidence of shootings in other hotels, the changing story of witness Jesus Campos, official records that there were three women with Paddock in the room when he was allegedly shooting at the crowd, and Paddock’s initial autopsy report that listed the decedent as being three inches shorter than Paddock and having brown eyes when Paddock’s were blue. All of this now is to be dismissed as irrelevant because police cannot figure out Paddock’s motive. Incidentally, all of these stories can be found by searching the Need-to-Know News archives.] -GEG

Las Vegas Sheriff Joe Lombardo held a press conference Friday to release the final police report on the deadliest mass shooting in modern US history which killed 58 people and injured hundreds more.

Lombardo says police are unable to determine a motive that drove Stephen Paddock, 64, to shoot at hundreds of concert goers from his Mandalay Bay hotel room on October 1st.

Las Vegas Review Journal reported:

Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo on Friday released the Metropolitan Police Department’s final report on the Oct. 1 shooting on the Strip, saying investigators had not been able to determine gunman Stephen Paddock’s motive for carrying out the deadliest random shooting in modern U.S. history.

“We have not been able to definitively answer the ‘why,’” Lombardo said at a news briefing.

He also said the investigation indicates that Paddock acted alone, adding that he does not anticipate any arrests in connection with the case.

Lombardo also defended the performance of the communications systemduring the chaos of the shooting and its aftermath.

“There’s no system in the world that can handle that kind of volume in a short period of time,” he said of the radio issues that officers experienced. “I personally believe the communications system was sound and robust.”

Las Vegas: New Docs Show 12 Resorts Reported Active Shooters and Paddock Had 3 Women in His Room

Las Vegas: Newly revealed records show Las Vegas Metro Police Department (LVMPD) received thousands of emergency calls on the night of the shooting on October 1st reporting other active shooters from numerous locations including: Luxor, Tropicana, New York, New York, MGM, Hooters, Aria, Cosmopolitan, Miracle Mile Shopping, Bellagio, Paris, Caesar’s Palace and Harrah’s.

Independent citizen journalist Laura Loomer reported that supposed ‘lone shooter’ Stephen Paddock had three women in his room at the time of the shooting. She says Sheriff Lombardo, who is up for re-election on June 12, intentionally misled the public about the details surrounding the Las Vegas shooting.

Recent documents released regarding the October 1, 2017 Las Vegas Shooting are beginning to shed light on more discrepancies and abnormalities surrounding the official timeline and narrative of the tragedy as originally stated by Sheriff Joe Lombardo and Special Agent Aaron Rouse of the Las Vegas FBI, including documentation that three women were found in the alleged shooter’s room.

The most recent batch of documents that were released include witness reports, dispatch logs, and officer reports that recount the events that took place that night and further reveal that Paddock was not alone in his room as was first stated by Sheriff Lombardo.

Page 26 of the dispatch logs that were released by LVMPD details the moments when the alleged shooter, Stephen Paddock, was located by a security detail at the Mandalay Bay. As actions were taken to assemble a team of officers to apprehend the suspect, a dispatcher shared the name of the alleged shooter located in Room 32-135, along with three females that were reported to be in the room with Mr. Paddock. However, the names of those three women are redacted from the report, while the checkout date listed for the women aligns with Paddock’s planned check out date of October 2, 2017. In the log, as seen on page 26, the following was documented as having taken place at 11:02 pm the night of the shooting when police breached Paddock’s room. “Units in control room 32 135. Suspect name of K(P)addock, Stephen. There three females in room.”

The three women are then listed as #1, #2, and #3, with their check in and check out dates, but their names are redacted from the log. “Checked on (in) on 9-25 scheduled to check out Oct 2nd.”

Shocking details such as the one above are found all throughout the nearly 2,000 documents that were released following a court order after The Associated Press and additional media outlets had to sue the LVMPD for the release of this information, information that the public has the right to see, as there are many questions left unanswered due to communication shut down by Sheriff Joe Lombardo of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

Other details revealed in the dispatch log include calls that were made to report multiple gunshot wounded victims hiding in fear for their lives all over the strip. There were panicked calls made from Sundance Helicopter about possible hostages taken.

The details of the LVMPD dispatch log on page 26 specifically reveals that dispatch received information from Mandalay Bay regarding guest names, additional parties in the room, along with check-in and departure dates for Paddock and the three women found in his room, all of which completely contradicts information given to the public in early reports from LVMPD and Sheriff Lombardo. In press conferences held shortly after October 1, Lombardo specifically stated that Paddock checked into his suite at Mandalay Bay on September 28th, 2017 and that he stayed in the room by himself.

Las Vegas Shooting: Law Enforcement Changes Official Story Again

After a court ordered the publication of law enforcement documents, Las Vegas sheriff Joe Lombardo revealed that there is an ongoing FBI case against an “individual of federal interest” other than Stephen Paddock or his girlfriend Marilou Danley, which is in total contradiction to the official story in which he adamantly states that Paddock acted alone. -GEG

Las Vegas sheriff Joe Lombardo revealed that there is an ongoing FBI case against an “individual of federal interest” other than Stephen Paddock or his girlfriend Marilou Danley.

Paddock opened fire on a country music festival on Oct. 1, 2017, from a room in the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas, killing 58 people and injuring 546.

“We do not anticipate charges being brought forward against Marilou Danley,” Lombardo said in his first press conference on the shooting since October 2017.

“As to any other people, the FBI has an ongoing case against an individual of federal interest,” he continued. “I will not be able to elaborate on that statement as because it’s a pending investigation. Any further information in reference to that individual can be provided by the FBI.”

He also reiterated that Paddock was the only shooter responsible for the massacre and that he was the only suspect in the shooting. Lombardo also said that there was no evidence of any radicalization or ideological motivations for the shooting.

Lombardo was asked by a reporter for any more information on that individual, and he answered he cannot give any more information. He did say that it was the case that the individual could be arrested.

FBI Documents Contain Evidence That Las Vegas Shooter Stephen Paddock Was An Arms Dealer

A federal judge has ordered the release of FBI court documents on the Las Vegas shooting.  The suspected shooter, Stephen Paddock, sent emails to an account he owned offering to sell automatic weapons.  These documents also show that he frequently traveled to Phoenix, Arizona, which was the location of the ATF field office involved with the Mexican gun-running operation, “Fast and Furious”.  Records show that, when he flew to Phoenix, he would rent a car with a large trunk and, on the same day, drive back to Las Vegas.  Everything points to the possibility that Paddock was a gun runner for the ATF. -GEG

Las Vegas Sheriff Said that You Have to Assume Shooter Had Help

While the FBI and media are characterizing the Las Vegas shooter, Stephen Paddock, as a ‘lone nut’, Clark County Sheriff Lombardo expressed his belief that gunman Stephen Paddock had to have help at some point.  He also stated that there was evidence that Paddock intended to escape after the massacre.

During a lengthy press conference update on the investigation into the Las Vegas massacre, Clark County Sheriff Lombardo expressed his belief that gunman Stephen Paddock had to have help at some point but sarcastically says “maybe he’s a super guy.”

Clearly showing the strains of being awake under serious stress for the last 72 hours, the sheriff explained…

“Look at this. You look at the weapon obtaining the different amounts of tannerite available, do you think this was all accomplished on his own, face value?”

You got to make the assumption he had to have help at some point, and we want to insure that’s the answer. Maybe he’s a super guy, super hero–not a hero, super–I won’t use the word. Maybe he’s super — that was working out this out on his own, but it will be hard for me to believe that.”

“Here’s the reason why, put one and one–two and two together, another residence in Reno with firearms, okay, electronics and everything else associated with larger amounts of ammo, a place in Mesquite, we know he had a girlfriend. Do you think this is all self-facing individual without talking to somebody, it was sequestered amongst himself. Come on focus folks these type of investigations have been occurring in the last few years and we have to investigate that.”

Las Vegas: ‘Lone Nut’ Kills 58 Concertgoers

Las Vegas: Stephen Paddock, 64, was identified as the gunman who opened fire from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel and shot people attending an open-air music festival below, leaving at least 58 dead and an estimated 527 wounded. ISIS claimed credit and said that Paddock was a recent convert to Islam. However, Paddock’s brother says he was neither religious nor political. Paddock was a wealthy, retired accountant with two homes and an airplane who may have had gambling debt. Police say that he was dead when they entered his room and assume he killed himself. His father was a bank robber who once was on the FBI’s Most-Wanted List after escaping from prison. Hillary Clinton and other liberals are calling for gun control on the assumption that taking guns away from law-abiding citizens somehow would have prevented this carnage. -GEG

Stephen Paddock has been identified as the gunman who opened fire on concertgoers at the Route 91 Harvest country music festival in Las Vegas on Sunday, leaving at least 59 people dead and 527 wounded in the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history, police said.

The shooter, a 64-year-old from Mesquite, Nevada, was firing from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel down at the festival, which was located in a fairgrounds area on Las Vegas Boulevard, hitting several concertgoers. Officers responded to the hotel room and engaged the suspect, police said. They do not believe at this time that there were any other shooters, despite reports of multiple gunmen. Police said they do not have an accurate number of victims yet, saying the totals they’ve released so far are estimates.

Paddock’s brother told The Associated Press that the shooter was a retired accountant who became a multimillionaire through real estate investments and high stakes gambling. “He was a guy who had money,” Eric Paddock said of his brother. “He went on cruises and gambled.”

Police have also not yet released a motive. Paddock does not have any known ties to terrorist organizations, NBC’s Pete Williams reports. ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attack, claiming, without evidence, that Paddock is a “soldier” who converted to Islam months ago and was fighting for the so-called Islamic State, The Associated Press reports.

“We have determined to this point no connection to an international terror group,” FBI Special Agent-in-Charge Aaron Rouse said at a press conference. He said they are continuing to investigate to ensure that is a fact.

“The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department identified the lone suspect involved in the late night mass shooting on the Las Vegas Strip as 64-year-old, Stephen Craig Paddock, a white
male from Mesquite, Nevada,” police said in a press release.

The concert festival was taking place in an outdoor area across from the Mandalay Bay and Luxor casinos on the famed Las Vegas Strip. A video taken by someone at the concert shows the moment when gunfire, described by police and witnesses as coming from an automatic weapon, erupted, with several shots fired in rapid succession:
