President Biden Said that Republicans Threaten the Very Foundations of Our Republic

President Biden gave a speech last Thursday filled with vitriol against Republicans and said, “Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic.” He added, “… the Republican Party today is dominated, driven, and intimidated by Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans, and that is a threat to this country.” He said that MAGA Republicans do not respect the Constitution or believe in the rule of law, and they “refuse to accept the results of a free election.” Biden attacked Trump and his supporters ahead of the mid-term elections instead of focusing on his own unpopular Democrat polices that have led to massive inflation, increased crime, open borders, increased fentanyl drug deaths, indoctrination of children in schools, provoking war with Russia and China and more.

Senate Passes Gun Control Bill 65-33, 15 Republicans Voted with Democrats

Tucker Carlson gives examples of how Republicans have sided with Democrats to enact the corporate agenda, and are betraying voters. He named the 14 Republican Senators, Roy Blunt, Richard Burr, Shelly Moore-Capito, Bill Cassidy, Susan Collins, John Cornyn, Joni Ernst, Lindsey Graham, Mitch McConnell, Lisa Murkowski, Rob Portman, Mitt Romney, Thom Tillis, and Todd Young, who voted to advance the 80-page gun control bill that none of them read. A vote was taken Thursday night to pass the legislation and Senator Pat Toomey joined the Republican traitors. Carlson said that when leaders stop representing voters, it destabilizes society and it becomes revolutionary, which is the reason why Washington DC is trying to disarm the public.

Nine of the RINO Senators who sided with Democrats on the gun control bill are among the highest NRA-funded GOP Senators. Here is a list or how much money the RINOs received from the NRA: Roy Blunt ($4,555,722), Richard Burr (6,987,380), Bill Cassidy ($2,867,074), Joni Ernst ($3,124,773), Rob Portman ($3,063,327), Mitt Romney ($13,647,676), Thom Tillis ($$4,421,333), Pat Toomey ($1,475,448), and Todd Young ($2,897,582). A pro-Second Amendment critic noted that the RINO’s compromise was “brought to you by the NRA.”

The US Senate on Thursday evening voted 65-33 to approve the Safer Communities Act – a sweeping gun control legislation that includes “red flag” laws.

All senators who caucus with the Democrats voted “yay” – and 15 Republicans joined the Democrats and voted “yay.”

Here are the 15 Republican Senators who caved and bowed to Democrat demands:

Blunt
Burr
Capito
Cassidy
Collins
Cornyn
Ernst
Graham
McConnell
Murkowski
Portman
Romney
Tillis
Toomey
Young

The bill will now head to the House of Representatives for a vote.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said first thing in the morning she will immediately advance the bill through the Rules Committee and bring the bill to the House Floor for a vote.

The bill will then head to Joe Biden’s desk for a signature.

CBS reported:

The legislation enhances background checks for prospective gun buyers under 21 years old, closes the so-called “boyfriend loophole,” clarifies the definition of a Federally Licensed Firearms Dealer and creates criminal penalties for straw purchases and gun trafficking. It also provides $750 million in grants to incentivize states to implement crisis intervention programs and provides roughly billions of dollars in federal funding to bolster mental health services for children and families and harden schools.

The Senate’s measure does not go as far as what Mr. Biden has called for and is significantly more narrow than a package of bills that passed the House this month. That legislation would raise the minimum age to purchase a semiautomatic rifle from 18 to 21 years old and ban large-capacity magazines. It also incentivizes the safe storage of firearms and establishes requirements regulating the storage of guns on residential premises.

While the House’s legislation included many of the proposals advocated for by Mr. Biden, it would not have won enough support from Republicans to overcome the 60-vote threshold for legislation to advance in the Senate.

Democrat Senators Declare Opposition to Police Defunding, but it’s a Declaration, not a Law

In a surprise move earlier this month, Democrats voted with Republicans unanimously to approve Republican amendments to the Democrat $3.5-TRILLION budget. The votes are non-binding and will be used by the Democrats to pretend they support law-and-order, because their well known ‘defund the police’ policies are unpopular. The non-binding votes can also be used by the Republicans to look like they are trying (while not succeeding) to enforce law and order. GEG”

The Senate early Wednesday unanimously approved an amendment to its proposed budget that opposed defunding the police.

The amendment, offered by Alabama Republican Sen. Tommy Tuberville, came during the Senate’s overnight vote-a-rama, a marathon session during consideration of Democrats’ $3.5 trillion budget where members can offer unlimited amendments. While the votes are non-binding, they can sometimes be politically tricky for senators as their colleagues force on-the-record positions on contentious issues.

“My amendment is pretty simple,” Tuberville said on the Senate floor. “If your city council wants to defund their police, don’t expect the federal government to make up the difference.”

It was adopted 99-0. New Jersey Democratic Sen. Cory Booker praised Tuberville’s amendment, joking that senators should also declare their support for “God, country and apple pie.”

After midnight, 95 senators again signed on to an amendment from Missouri Republican Sen. Josh Hawley that provided federal funds to hire 100,000 new police officers nationwide, urging his colleagues to go beyond just stating their opposition to defunding the police.

“I recognize that my friends across the aisle said they don’t want to defund the police,” Hawley said. “That’s outstanding. Let’s go a step further. Let’s fund them.”

Governor Kristi Noem Refuses to Accept Illegal Migrants in South Dakota. Iowa and South Carolina Block Unaccompanied Migrant Children.

Republican Governor Kristi Noem tweeted Wednesday morning, “South Dakota won’t be taking any illegal immigrants that the Biden Administration wants to relocate. My message to illegal immigrants… call me when you’re an American.” The post was a response to multiple media reports that the Biden administration is seeking to fly migrants from the southern border to northern and coastal states. On Monday, South Carolina Republican Governor Henry McMaster issued an executive order forbidding unaccompanied migrant children to be assigned to the state’s foster homes and other facilities in the state. Earlier this month, Iowa Republican Governor Kim Reynolds also rejected a request from the federal government to send migrant children into the state. The Biden administration is facing lawsuits over its border policies including lawsuits from Texas and Missouri. GEG

Republican Governor Kristi Noem announced Wednesday that South Dakota will not accept illegal migrants crossing into the US during the Biden administration’s border crisis.

Noem tweeted Wednesday morning, “South Dakota won’t be taking any illegal immigrants that the Biden Administration wants to relocate. My message to illegal immigrants… call me when you’re an American.”

The post was a response to multiple media reports that the Biden administration is seeking to fly migrants from the southern border to northern and coastal states.

This follows the lead of South Carolina Republican Governor Henry McMaster issuing an executive order on Monday forbidding unaccompanied migrant children to the state’s foster homes and other facilities in the state by the Biden administration.

Republicans Announce New Immigration Reform Plan

Republicans announced the bipartisan ‘Dignity Plan’, which includes protections for Dreamers, the estimated 800,000 DACA recipients who came to the US undocumented as children, as well as a ten-year path for those who lived in the shadows here in the US. The proposal also plans for allowing immigrant non-felons a path to legal status. -GEG

During the same week Democrats in the U.S. House were expected to move ahead with their first effort at immigration reform during the current Congress, Republican lawmakers announced a new plan for reform.

U.S Rep. Fred Upton, R-St. Joseph, along with a group of several GOP lawmakers including U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., and U.S. Rep. Maria Salazar, R-Fla., unveiled proposed immigration reforms during a news conference in Washington Wednesday, March 17, 2021,

They announced the Dignity Plan, which includes protections for Dreamers — the several thousand people who came to the U.S. undocumented as children — as well as a 10 year path for those who lived in the shadows here in the U.S. The proposal also plans for allowing immigrant non-felons a path to legal status. Republicans also announced help with attaining English language proficiency is included in the proposed reform.

18 Republican Governors Ask for More Refugees in Their States, While “Charities” Are Cashing In and Grifting Off of American Taxpayers

Trump signed an executive order allowing cities and states to ‘opt out’ of resettling refugees in their communities. A total of 18 Republican governors, out of 27, have betrayed citizns by placing the interests of non-citizens above them by requesting more refugee resettlement. The immoral governors include: Doug Ducey, Arizona, Asa Hutchinson, Arkansas, Brad Little, Idaho, Eric Holcomb, Indiana, Kim Reynolds, Iowa, Larry Hogan, Maryland, Charlie Baker, Massachusetts, Mike Parsons, Missouri, Pete Ricketts, Nebraska, Chris Sununu, New Hampshire, Doug Burgum, North Dakota, Mike DeWine, Ohio, Kevin Stitt, Oklahoma, Kristi Noem, South Dakota, Bill Lee, Tennessee, Gary Herbert, Utah, Phil Scott, Vermont, and Jim Justice, West Virginia.

Ned Ryun reported that the US State Department is paying refugee contractors over $2100 per refugee, of which they get to keep 45% of the money, which has nothing to do with charity or religious values. These organizations include: Church World Service (CWS), Ethiopian Community Development Council (ECDC), Episcopal Migration Ministries (EMM), Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (HIAS), International Rescue Committee (IRC), U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI), Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Services (LIRS), U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB), and World Relief Corporation (WR).

“This is how red states become blue and how America ceases to be America.”

Fox News host Tucker Carlson and a guest discussed Republican governors in 18 states asking for refugee resettlement despite being given an option not to do so.

Introducing the Friday night “Tucker Carlson Tonight” segment, the Fox News host recalled when Republican leaders once “made a big show of opposing Obama administration refugee policy” and supposedly “got their wish” when President Donald Trump won the 2016 election and signed “an executive order allowing cities and states to opt-out of refugee resettlement.”

However, “for some reason, no Republican governors are taking advantage of that,” Carlson said, noting that 18 GOP governors so far “have explicitly requested that more refugees be sent to their states.”

The list so far includes:

Doug Ducey, Arizona
Asa Hutchinson, Arkansas
Brad Little, Idaho
Eric Holcomb, Indiana
Kim Reynolds, Iowa
Larry Hogan, Maryland
Charlie Baker, Massachusetts
Mike Parsons, Missouri
Pete Ricketts, Nebraska
Chris Sununu, New Hampshire
Doug Burgum, North Dakota
Mike DeWine, Ohio
Kevin Stitt, Oklahoma
Kristi Noem, South Dakota
Bill Lee, Tennessee
Gary Herbert, Utah
Phil Scott, Vermont
Jim Justice, West Virginia

“We already have more than 20 million illegal immigrants living here,” Carlson said. “The last thing many struggling communities need is more low skilled migrants who may be great people but need a lot. They stress the schools and social programs while not fully integrating. That’s just true and anybody who lives in a community where it has happened will tell you that it is true. As with illegal immigration, the long term agenda of refugee settlement is to bring in future Democratic voters, obviously.”

American Majority founder Ned Ryun insisted that “refugee resettlement has nothing to do with Christianity and has everything to do with the immoral behavior of these governments and quite frankly, a perverse incentive for these government-funded charities that are acting as refugee contractors grifting off the American taxpayer.”

“U.S. State Department is paying these refugee contractors over $2100 per refugee, of which they get to keep 45%,” Ryun said. “Then they are doing this campaign on these governors saying you have to put your Christian charity into action and in an act of cowardice, most of these governors from red states are giving into this.” (RELATED: Tucker Carlson: America’s Elites Want ‘Immigration Without Limit’)

“People who hate Christianity are demanding that in the name of Christianity, Christian governors admit refugees,” Carlson responded. “But the governors aren’t actually housing any of the refugees in their own homes or paying any of their own money, so how is it Christian virtue to take other people’s money by force and give it away? I don’t member the part of the gospel.”

Ryun called the governors’ behavior “immoral,” saying their “moral imperative is to advance the interests of the citizens of their state” and “not the interests of noncitizens.”

Soros-Linked Group Persuades GOP Governors to Accept More Refugees

Trump signed an executive order that gives localities, counties, and states veto power over whether they want to resettle refugees in their communities. World Relief and the Evangelical Immigration Table, an organization with links to the Soros-funded National Immigration Forum, have been lobbying governors across the country to bring more refugees to their states. An official with World Relief said that about 16 governors have submitted written consent, and six of them are Republicans. Doug Ducey, the Republican Governor of Arizona, agreed after receiving a letter supporting resettlement signed by 250 evangelical leaders. North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum also agreed to resettle refugees in his state. The names of the other Republican governors have not yet been revealed. -GEG

Refugee contractors, like the Lutheran Social Services organization, depend on federal funding and are motivated to bring in as many refugees as possible. They have been lobbying mayors, local officials, and governors to admit more refugees to their states.

A pro-mass immigration organization with links to billionaire George Soros has successfully lobbied six Republican governors to resettle more refugees in their states.

For Fiscal Year 2020, President Donald Trump will continue cutting refugee admissions by reducing former President Barack Obama’s refugee inflow by at least 80 percent. This reduction would mean a maximum of 18,000 refugees can be resettled in the U.S. between October 1, 2019, and September 30, 2020. This is merely a numerical limit and not a goal federal officials are supposed to reach.

Coupled with the refugee reduction, Trump signed an executive order that gives localities, counties, and states veto power over whether they want to resettle refugees in their communities.

Executives at World Relief and the Evangelical Immigration Table — an organization with links to the Soros-funded National Immigration Forum — have been lobbying governors across the country to bring more refugees to their states. So far, six Republican governors have signed off to resettle refugees in their states, including North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum and Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey.

The New York Times notes:

Jenny Yang, vice president for advocacy at World Relief, an evangelical agency whose work includes resettlement, has been steering an effort to lobby governors to keep their states open to refugees. [Emphasis added]

She said about 16 governors have submitted written consent, six of them Republicans. Gov. Doug Ducey, Republican of Arizona, agreed after receiving a letter supporting resettlement signed by 250 evangelical leaders. Gov. Greg Abbott, Republican of Texas, who leads the state that received the most refugees last year, has not yet offered his view, despite a plea from the mayor of Fort Worth to continue accepting refugees. [Emphasis added]

Refugee contractors, like the Lutheran Social Services organization, have deployed a campaign to get mayors, local officials, and governors to admit more refugees to their states. Those contractors’ budgets every year are reliant on ensuring that as many refugees are resettled across the U.S. as possible.

It remains unclear which six Republican governors, aside from Burgum and Ducey, have been successfully lobbied by the Soros-linked group.

67% of Republican Voters Believe Mass Immigration Is a Critical Problem, But Only 16% of Their GOP Leaders Agree

According to a poll recorded in 2016, a stunning 67% of Republican voters thought mass immigration was a critical threat, but only 16% of GOP leaders agreed that it was a serious problem. Politicians serve their donors instead of their constituents, which has led to bad US immigration policies and open borders.

Who are these people?
Who are these people that go to Washington and pretend to represent the people?

This is not immigration – this is an invasion.

Matthew Schmitz at First Things reported in his May article on immigration just how distant GOP leaders are from their voting base.

No wonder President Trump won the 2016 election. He’s the ONLY
POLITICIAN that wants to do anything about America’s open borders.
We need more Trump supporters in Congress.

A 2016 survey by the Chicago Council on Global Affairs
found that 67 percent of Republicans think the arrival of large numbers
of immigrants and refugees is a critical threat to the U.S. Only 16
percent of Republican leaders think so. A similar, but smaller, divide
exists on the Democratic side, where only 4 percent of Democratic
leaders view current immigration levels as a critical threat, compared
to 27 percent of their public. Nor is the divide limited to any one
race. In 2018, the Pew Research Center found that “Latinos with lower
levels of education are more likely than those with at least some
college education to say too many immigrants are living in the country
today.”

Rand Paul Slams the Senate for Uniting to Defend Forever Wars in Syria and Afghanistan

Last week, US Senator Rand Paul slammed his colleagues in the Senate for supporting endless US wars in Syria and Afghanistan when they voted 68-to-23 to rebuke President Trump for saying he wanted to bring our troops home from Syria and pull out half of US forces from Afghanistan. A critic noted that the Republican-dominant Senate has a history of disappointing its base by not repealing Obamacare, not defunding Planned Parenthood, but they “fight like lions for the right to kill your son in Afghanistan.” -GEG

Senator
Rand Paul slammed his colleagues in the Senate on Thursday for refusing
to help the American people but rallying together to defend our endless
wars in Syria and Afghanistan.

The Senate voted 68-to-23 on Thursday to rebuke President Trump for moving to bring our troops home from Syria and pull out half our forces from Afghanistan.

Jesse Kelly responded to the news on Twitter writing: “This senate that
can’t repeal Obamacare, defund Planned Parenthood, or pass a budget. But
God help you if you want to bring our boys home. They’ll lock shields
and fight like lions for the right to kill your son in Afghanistan.”

Bunch of fat, pasty, over-educated millionaires eating lobbyist-funded steak dinners as they send our best and brightest to get blown up for nothing. Makes me sick.

Poll: Nearly Two-Thirds of Republicans Now Believe in Climate Change, and 51% Want Government Action

Monmouth University’s survey of 802 American adults showed that 78% believe the world’s climate is undergoing a change that is causing more extreme weather patterns and sea level rise, up from 70% in December 2015.  64% of Republicans now believe in climate change, a 15 point jump from 49% three years ago.  Belief in man-made climate change continues to be higher among Democrats at 92%, up from 85% in 2015, and independents at 78%, up from 74%. -GEG

The doom business is quite profitable, both financially and politically, and thus are we treated to yet another weather-end-times poll, this one a Monmouth University survey indicating that two-thirds of Republicans now believe in “climate change.”

Of course, people should believe in it because the climate is always changing — naturally. Whether man is influencing this change, however, is a different matter.

Monmouth University reports on its poll, which surveyed 802 American adults between November 9 and 12: “Nearly 8-in-10 Americans (78%) believe the world’s climate is undergoing a change that is causing more extreme weather patterns and sea level rise, up from 70% in December 2015. Of note, nearly two-thirds of Republicans (64%) now believe in climate change, a 15 point jump from just under half (49%) three years ago. However, belief in climate change continues to be higher among Democrats (92%, up from 85% in 2015) and independents (78%, up from 74%).”

If the survey is accurate, it is a testimonial to the power of propaganda and perception. As for extreme weather, note that the average number of category 3 or higher hurricanes making United States landfall each decade since 1851 is six. Yet the figure for the 1981-1990 and 1991-2000 periods has been five each; there were three from 2001 to 2004, and none during the decade preceding the 2016 hurricane season.

As for sea-level rise, some question if it’s even presently happening. Yet what if it is? For this also is a naturally occurring phenomenon; for example, at one time the oceans around Florida were 100 feet higher, at another time 300 feet lower.

Despite such realities, a “majority of Americans (54%) currently say that climate change is a very serious problem, which is up significantly from 41% in Monmouth’s 2015 poll,” the Monmouth survey also finds. “Another 17% say climate change is a somewhat serious problem and 7% say it is not too serious. The remainder say climate change is not happening (16%) or don’t know if it is happening (5%).”

Moreover, reports The Hill, “Thirty-seven percent of Americans polled said the environment and human activity contribute equally to a changing climate, while 29 percent place greater blame on human activity and 10 percent blame natural environmental changes.”

Only a quarter of Republicans surveyed believe climate change is a very serious problem, but this is where the good news ends. Not only do 69 percent of Americans surveyed believe government should take action to combat “climate change,” with only 22 percent in opposition, but 51 percent of Republicans agree with the big-government majority. Of course, since the state isn’t good at playing God, all this will do is provide government a pretext for further fleecing the people (e.g., carbon taxes).

The above illustrates the simple reality that polls don’t determine Truth. As to this, the truth on climate change is buried under a multitude of misconceptions and deceptions. But consider the following:

• Many experts are warning not of global warming, but another ice age. After all, the Earth’s pattern is one of 100,000-year glacial periods followed by 12,000-year interglacials, the latter being a warming period of the kind we’re currently experiencing. The problem? Ours has lasted for approximately 12,000 years — we’re due for a freeze.

• One man thus warning is atmospheric and space physics expert S. Fred Singer, professor emeritus at the University of Virginia and a founding director of the Science & Environmental Policy Project. He wrote in 2016 that there have been nearly 20 major glaciations “in the past two to three million years. The coolings are quite severe: the most recent one, ending only about 12,000 years ago, covered much of North America and Europe with miles-thick continental ice sheets and led to the disappearance of (barely) surviving bands of Neanderthalers; they were displaced by the more adaptable Homo Sapiens.”

Moreover, warning how we might be due for a dangerous deep freeze, he also wrote that “cold periods and droughts appear to be the main dangers to agriculturally based societies in all regions of the world,” and he advised we “try to figure out how to prevent such cooling episodes, if possible.”

• This message is nothing new, mind you. Note that Newsweek ran a 1975 story enitled “The Cooling World,” preaching a message that alarmed us grammar-school kids back then — before the doomsayers started scaring children with warmist apocalyptic scenarios.

• Generally speaking, warmth breeds life and cold, death. Even the New York Times admitted this, reporting in 2016 on a Lancet study showing that “cold weather is responsible, directly or indirectly, for 17 times as many deaths as hot weather,” as the Times related it. Moreover, the paper cited yet another study suggesting that in most of the world, “rising temperatures could reduce overall mortality rates.”

Rep. Maxine Waters declared war on Republicans this weekend during her speech to a fired up Democrat mob.

Waters told her supporters to verbally assault and harass Republicans where ever you find them.

Maxine Waters: “If you think we’re rallying now, you ain’t seen nothin’ yet. Let’s make sure we show up wherever we have to show up and if you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd and you push back on them, and you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere.
