UK: Free Speech Advocates Outraged After Man Jailed for 2 Years for ‘Far-Right’ Stickers 

UK: Sam Melia, 34, was sentenced to two years in prison after being found guilty of inciting racial hatred with an online collection of about 200 downloadable stickers that contained anti-immigration messages for activists. The prosecution argued that the stickers were intended to stir up racial hatred. Melia claimed that they were intended to “start a conversation” and that he was unaware that the stickering would count as criminal damage. The stickers reportedly contained slogans such as “We will be a minority in our homeland by 2066”, “Mass immigration is white genocide”, “Intolerance is a virtue”, “They seek conquest not asylum.” “Diversity – designed to fail, built to replace”, “Reject white guilt”,  “It’s OK to be White”, “Stop anti-white rape gangs”, and “Love Your nation”.

Melia’s wife said that the judge gave Melia a harsh sentence to deter people with the same beliefs from spreading the message.

Free speech concerns have been raised after a Leeds man was sentenced two years in prison after being found guilty of inciting racial hatred with a library of stickers.

Sam Melia, 34, was in charge of an online collection of downloadable stickers that contained anti-immigration messages for activists of the “Hundred Handers” group.

At Leeds Crown Court last month, Melia was also found guilty of encouraging racially aggravated criminal damage because his collection was involved in multiple “stickering” incidents.

During the trial, jurors were told that members of the group would access the downloadable stickers that they could download and stick around their communities.

The prosecution argued that the stickers were intended to stir up racial hatred.

The far-right organiser claimed that they were intended to “start a conversation” and that he was unaware that the stickering would count as criminal damage.

Melia was charged in December 2022 after evidence showed he established and maintained the database of around 200 stickers.

Counter Terrorism Policing North East said that many of the stickers were racist and antisemitic in nature.

They reportedly contained slogans such as “We will be a minority in our homeland by 2066”, “Mass immigration is white genocide”, “intolerance is a virtue” and “they seek conquest not asylum.”

The force added that Melia administered an encrypted social media channel that had over 3,500 subscribers, where supporters were encouraged to place the stickers throughout their local areas.

Fraser Myers, deputy editor of spiked online, told GB News: “You do not have to agree with a single thing Sam Melia believes to find his two-year sentence utterly chilling. Many violent criminals have been punished with far less ferocity than Melia has been for the ‘crime’ of producing some stickers.

Seattle English Students Told It Is ‘White Supremacy’ to Love Reading and Writing

Students in a Seattle English class were told that their love of reading and writing is a characteristic of “white supremacy,” in the latest Seattle Public Schools high school controversy. The Seattle high schoolers were told that “Worship of the Written Word” is white supremacy because it is “an erasure of the wide range of ways we communicate with each other.” By this definition, the very subject of World Literature and Composition is racist.

A father of a student reported that system-wide only 63% of kids in Seattle schools are proficient in English.

Students in a Seattle English class were told that their love of reading and writing is a characteristic of “white supremacy,” in the latest Seattle Public Schools high school controversy. The lesson plan has one local father speaking out, calling it “educational malpractice.”

As part of the Black Lives Matter at School Week, World Literature and Composition students at Lincoln High School were given a handout with definitions of the “9 characteristics of white supremacy,” according to the father of a student. Given the subject matter of the class, the father found it odd this particular lesson was brought up.

The Seattle high schoolers were told that “Worship of the Written Word” is white supremacy because it is “an erasure of the wide range of ways we communicate with each other.” By this definition, the very subject of World Literature and Composition is racist. It also chides the idea that we hyper-value written communication because it’s a form of “honoring only what is written and even then only what is written to a narrow standard, full of misinformation and lies.” The worksheet does not provide any context for what it actually means.

“I feel bad for any students who actually internalize stuff like this as it is setting them up for failure,” the father explained to the Jason Rantz Show on KTTH.

Everything is ‘white supremacy’ at Seattle Public Schools

The father asked to remain anonymous for fear of retribution against his child by Seattle Public Schools. He said the other pieces of the worksheet were equally disturbing.

The worksheet labels “objectivity,” “individualism,” and “perfectionism” as white supremacy. If students deny their own racism — or that any of the nine characteristics are legitimately racist — is also white supremacy. Denialism or being overly defensive is a racist example of an “entitlement to name what is an [sic] isn’t racism and that those with power have a right to be shielded from the stresses of antiracist work.”

The father argues the concepts are “incoherent and cannot stand any sort of reasoned analysis.” And he notes that it’s set up to ensure students accept every concept without ever questioning the claims.

“How is a 15-year-old kid supposed to object in class when ‘denial and defensiveness’ is itself a characteristic of white supremacy? This is truly educational malpractice.”

White students told to apologize in yet another Seattle high school controversy

Another aspect of the white supremacy lesson at this Seattle school involved a video titled “Getting Called Out: How to Apologize” by Franchesca Ramsey. It’s reportedly presented in the context of white students expressing what the teacher views as “white supremacy.”

“Getting called out, in this context of this video, is when you say or do something that upholds the oppression of a marginalized group of people,” Ramsey says.

Ramsey says her advice is about becoming an ally and “doing the right thing.” She explains you shouldn’t “get defensive” by denying you’re oppressing marginalized people, even if you’re not actually oppressing marginalized people.

“What you really need to do is listen because this is where the other person is hopefully going to explain to you what you did wrong and how you can explain it,” she says.

In the context of the worksheet on white supremacy, it seems clear that students must merely accept that they are upholding oppression. Using the worksheet, if a student defends independence or a love of reading and writing, that student is supposed to accept that it’s white supremacist thinking and stop acting independently or loving to read and write.

Utah Is the Latest State to Ban DEI Efforts on Campus and in Government

Utah Governor Spencer Cox signed a bill into law that makes the state the latest to prohibit diversity training, hiring and inclusion programs at universities and in state government. Republican lawmakers in at least 17 states have proposed some three dozen bills to restrict or require public disclosure of DEI initiatives. At the same time, Democrats in nine states have filed at least 20 bills to require or promote DEI initiatives.

Utah’s governor signed a bill into law Tuesday that makes the state the latest to prohibit diversity training, hiring and inclusion programs at universities and in state government.

The measure signed by Spencer Cox, a Republican who previously said he supported the idea, had cleared the state House and Senate by wide, party-line majorities.

Headed into the final year of his first term, Cox has shifted to the right on “diversity, equity and inclusion.” After vetoing a ban on transgender students playing in girls sports in 2022, Cox signed a bill in 2023 regulating discussion of race and religion in public schools to ban, for example, teaching that anybody can be racist merely because of their race.

He also signed a separate law Tuesday requiring people to use bathrooms and locker rooms in public schools and government-owned buildings that match the sex they were assigned at birth.

Cox previously called requiring employees to sign statements in support of workplace and campus diversity, equity and inclusion, or DEI, “awful, bordering on evil.”

“We’ve been concerned about some DEI programs and policies, particularly with hiring practices, and this bill offers a balanced solution,” Cox said in a statement Tuesday night.

The new law will bar universities and government from having offices dedicated to promoting diversity. They also can’t require employees to submit statements of commitment to DEI.

“It ensures academic freedom on university campuses where all voices will be heard,” Republican Keith Grover, the bill’s sponsor in the state Senate, said shortly before the body made a final 23-6 vote in favor last Thursday.

CEO of IBM Admits to Firing People Unless They Discriminate in the Hiring Process

In a 2021 video, IBM chief Arvind Krishna says he would fire, demote or strip bonuses from execs who don’t hire enough blacks, Hispanics — or hire too many Asians. “Asians are not an underrepresented minority in tech in America…I’m not going to finesse this, for blacks we should try to get towards 13 percent.” Paul Cormier, the chairman of Red Hat, a subsidiary of IBM, says in the leaked recording that Red Hat has terminated people because they weren’t willing to engage in racial discrimination through hiring and promotion.

James O’Keefe pointed out that, “Title VII of the Civil Rights Act makes it illegal for employers to discriminate on the basis of race in the workplace.” At least 13 Attorneys General have put their states on notice and issued warnings to CEOs of Fortune 500 companies threatening “serious legal consequences” over race-based employment preferences and diversity policies.

France: 9 Arrested in Murder Case Following Gang Attack Aiming to ‘Stab White People’

Last Sunday, in the small rural French village of Crépol, a 16-year-old boy was stabbed in the chest and throat and died, and at least 17 other people were injured after an organized gang of at least 15 males armed with knives attacked people at the annual winter ball event. Nine individuals have now been arrested in the murder and suspected racially motivated attack. It was reported that they shouted an anti-white slur in Arabic and they were described as Algerians. Politicians on the right have linked the attack to the impacts of mass migration in France. The stabbing spree comes amid a wider recognition throughout Europe of the need to clamp down on mass migration and to begin removing migrants en masse.

Nine members of a gang that descended upon a small French village to “stab white people” have been arrested after leaving one dead and 16 injured.

During a village winter ball in Crépol on Saturday evening, a gang of “outsiders” descended on the French village and went on a rampage that left a sixteen-year-old boy named Thomas dead and 16 others aged between 16 and 65 injured. The dance had seen around 300 of the 532 members of the village attend.

On Tuesday, the government announced per Le Figaro that it had arrested nine individuals in connection to the horrific attack on the. Reports have claimed that the band of young male attackers came from the La Monnaie neighborhood of Romans-sur-Crépol. The area has been associated with rampant issues involving drug trafficking and was the site of widespread unrest during the racially-inspired riots across France in July following the police shooting of an Algerian heritage teenager.

While police have yet to disclose any information about the backgrounds of the alleged attackers, Le Dauphiné Libéré newspaper reported that a young local man who was stabbed during the spree claimed that the knifemen pronounced their intent to specifically kill white people.

“We were having fun, we were among friends, having a good time together and a little towards the end, some people arrived. I heard that there was commotion outside, there was a crowd, I went out, I was stabbed in the shoulder and back, I saw my friend Thomas being stabbed, I was scared, I went back into the room,” he said.

“I saw another friend of mine get stuck in the back, I compressed his wound to make a tourniquet, he was hit in the kidney. It was horror. For me, it was clearly an attack. The attackers said: ‘We are here to stab white people’.”

Politicians on the right have linked the attack to the impacts of mass migration in France. Former Reconquête presidential candidate Eric Zemmour described the attack as “francocide”, saying: “Their martyrs are repeat offenders. Our martyrs are innocent victims of the war of civilisation.”

Reconquête’s MEP candidate said in the wake of the attack that it represented an “ethnic war” and that her country is witnessing “the beginnings of civil war ”.

Liberal Activists Upset After White Youtuber Builds 100 Wells for Clean Water across Africa

viral video — and some people on the internet are actually angry at him over it.

Mr. Beast used his massive resources to engage in an eight-month-long project through which he built 100 wells in Africa, which he says will provide clean drinking water to roughly half a million people in Kenya, Cameroon, Uganda, Zimbabwe, and Somalia. His efforts were greatly appreciated, as evidenced by the clips of people in the affected towns celebrating and thanking him profusely, after showing how polluted and unhealthy the drinking water they had access to really was.

The response to Mr. Beast’s charitable act and documentary video has been mostly positive, with the video receiving 67 million views in just four days and lots of positive feedback. But because the internet is the internet, some people had to find reasons to get angry at Mr. Beast for his philanthropy.

One Twitter activist named Albert Nat Hyde decried Mr. Beast’s video as a form of “disrespect to Africans,” arguing that “Africans do not need water donation; we ain’t that poor and thirsty” and that “this is capitalism; he wanna low-key use these countries for profit.”

“America is part of the problem,” a Kenyan political activist named Francis Gaitho said in a fiery video rant that has since been viewed more than 1 million times. “And you, Mr. Beast, are not supposed to be coming here to validate some of these long-held stereotypes that Africa is poor.”

“We no longer need philanthropy,” the activist continued. “We don’t need you in exchange for views — because you are still going to recover all your money from the views on the social media platforms — now you’re going to leave a lasting image about Kenya. No, we are not a poor country.”

Gaitho further argued that viewers should “ask for an audit of amount spent vs. amount generated from social media monetization” and concluded that Mr. Beast’s whole video was a “charade” that reveals his “[nonexistent] moral sensibilities as he chases views for his white audiences.”

Complaint Filed Against Nordstrom for Discriminatory Hiring Practices that Exclude White People

America First Legal’s (AFL) Center for Legal Equality filed a federal civil rights complaint with the US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) against Nordstrom for engaging in the illegal practice of hiring based on race, color, sex, and national origin, as the company’s policy excludes white people, especially men. Nordstrom is basing hiring on quotas, and by the end of 2025, it “will increase representation of Black and Latinx populations in people-leadership roles by at least 50%.” The company also pledged to “grow purchases from brands owned or founded by Black individuals by 10x by the end of 2030.” America First Legal criticized corporations that discriminate against Americans in the name of “equity” rather than “equality.”

The organization found that according to Nordstrom management’s “Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging Fact Sheet,” by the end of 2025, it “will increase representation of Black and Latinx populations in people-leadership roles by at least 50%” and through its internship and other early-in-career programs, it “will create opportunity for underrepresented populations with an aim of 50% representation.”

“Management admits to engaging in a program of explicitly race-based procurement and purchasing. The ‘Nordstrom Now Blog’ claims that in 2021, management signed a ‘Fifteen Percent Pledge’ and that the Company’s President said, ‘Over the next 10 years Nordstrom will grow purchases from brands owned or founded by Black individuals by 10x by the end of 2030. Long-term societal change cannot happen overnight. We are excited to partner with the Pledge on this commitment to economic equity and sustainable growth as we work to increase the number of Black-owned and founded companies we partner with throughout our business,’” America First legal’s press release explained.

Starbucks Ordered to Pay $25.6 Million in Racial Discrimination Case for Firing White Manager 

Philadelphia: In 2018, two black men who refused to buy anything at a Starbucks coffee shop but wanted to use the facilities and the bathroom, were asked to leave the premises. Holly, the store manager, called the police and they were arrested, which sparked accusations of racism. The video went viral and there were mass protests across the country. Manager Holly was fired. Shannon Phillips, a former regional manager at Starbucks and also white woman, says she was also fired over the incident. Ms. Phillips said in her lawsuit that Starbucks, as part of its damage-control effort after the arrests, had sought to punish her and other white employees in and around Philadelphia even if they had not been involved in the events that led to the police being called. The jury agreed with her and awarded her $600,000 in damages and $25 million in punitive damages.

NYC Hospital ‘Karen’ Paid for Citi Bike at Center of Viral Fight with Black Man

The lawyer for a Manhattan physician’s assistant Sara Jane Comrie, who was accused of taking a Citi Bike from a young black man in a video that has had over 40 million views, provided receipts that he says show she was the one who purchased the ride at the center of the incident. The video that went viral did not show the entire confrontation between Comrie, who is six months pregnant, and the teens who accused her. Comrie was subsequently labeled a ‘Karen’ and was put on leave by her employer, Bellevue Hospital. She has been accused on social media of racism and being biased in her treatment of patients.

Reports indicate that Comrie has gone into hiding after receiving death threats.

Sarah Jane Comrie’s attorney said that his client was pushed by a group of people, who claimed that the bike that she allegedly paid for belonged to them. The lawyer said the alleged attack supposedly took place off-camera. Her attorney explained on the day Comrie paid for the bike, “which no individuals were on or touching,” and reports that she was stealing the cycle was false. He said:

“Here are the facts: On May 12th my client finished her roughly 12-hour shift and approached the Citi Bike station so she could head home. She went to an available bike, which no individuals were on or touching, mounted it and paid for it via the Citi Bike app on her phone. She then backed it up after it was released from the docking station.”

The Citi bike in question was allegedly released from the docking station but was re-locked after the group of individuals pushed it back, preventing her from leaving.

He added:

“During this time, a group of about five individuals approached her, saying that the bike was theirs. One or more individuals in that group physically pushed her bike (with her on it) back into the docking station, causing it to re-lock. … In short, my client arrived on a vacant bike, mounted the bike, paid for the bike and was prevented from leaving.”

The lawyer for a Manhattan hospital worker accused of taking a Citi Bike from a young black man — who claimed that he paid for the two-wheeler — provided receipts that he says show she was the one who purchased the ride at the center of the viral incident.

The Bellevue Hospital employee — who was branded a “Karen” on social media afterward — rented the bike first, lawyer Justin Marino said in a statement to The Post Wednesday.

He also provided two Citi Bike receipts from May 12, which were timestamped just minutes apart.

The first receipt reviewed by The Post shows the bike being taken out before it was re-locked one minute later, which Marino said is the bike seen in the video.

The second receipt shows another bike being taken out a minute later from the same docking station and was the bike Marino said his client used to get home after being “heckled and pressured to find a new bike” by the group.

Shellenberger concluded that there is overwhelming evidence that the media has created a moral panic about racism with zero evidence that “hate incidents” are rising.

Larry Elder Debunks Media and Leftists’ Claim of ‘White Supremacy’ in Police Killing of Tyre Nichols

Memphis: Tyre Nichols died three days after being beaten by police at a traffic stop where he resisted arrest. The biased media and leftists blamed structural ‘white supremacy’ in policing for Nichols’ death, yet five black police officers were involved in the beating and were arrested. Larry Elder explains that police are concentrated in black communities because there is more crime. Blacks comprise 13% of the population, yet commit almost half of all homicides, and most homicide victims are black. Elder stated that the lies of police racism is getting people killed because it is altering the behavior of the police officers and it also alters the behavior of the suspects who resist arrest. He said that virtually all of recorded police killings could be avoided if suspects do not resisted arrest.

The SCORPION Unit, Street Crimes Operations to Restore Peace In Our Neighborhoods, established in 2021, was permanently disbanded. A former Memphis police officer, who asked that his name not be used due to the sensitivity of the situation, told CBS News the SCORPION unit’s training consisted of three days of PowerPoint presentations, one day of suspect apprehension training and one day at the firing range. The SCORPION Unit made 566 arrests and seizing over $103,000 in cash, 270 vehicles, and 253 weapons after it was created, which some critics found to be excessive and a red flag for problems.

Many sources in mainstream media, politicians and academia blamed the death of Tyre Nichols on a system of violence based on white supremacy, despite the fact that the officers who beat Nichols were black. Lawyer and commentator Larry Elder countered this premise by asking why police forces should be diverse and reflect the community if race doesn’t matter. He said that the goal should be to have good cops. Mr. Elder said that none of the cops involved in the beating had more than three years of experience. He suggested that the Memphis Police Department could have retention and recruitment problems, due in part to Black Lives Matter discrediting the police. This may have led to Memphis lowering their standards when hiring new officers.

Mr. Elder said that police target black communities because there is more crime there. Blacks comprise 13% of the population in the US, but commit almost half of the homicides in the US, and most victims are black. In the largest counties in the nation, blacks account for 60% of the shootings and 60% of the robberies.

According to the Bureau of Justice Statistics, there were 61,000,000 contacts with police in 2020; the police killed 1000 people, which is 0.002%. Almost all of those killed were resisting arrest, usually with a gun or knife.

Mr. Elder stated that over the past 5 years, police killed 39% more unarmed white people than unarmed black people. But the media is silent on the deaths of white people. Elder quoted the author of a study and said that a young black man, between the ages of 10 and mid-30s, is 13 times more likely to be murdered than a young white man, and almost always the murderer is another black man.

Elder said that the lies of police racism is getting people killed because it is altering the behavior of the police officers and it also alters the behavior of the suspects who resist, especially young black suspects. He said that virtually all of the police killings could have been avoided if the suspects had not resisted arrest.

UPDATE:  Officer Preston Hemphill, a white policeman, pulled Nichols from his car, Nichols ran away, and Hemphill chased him and tasered him. Hemphill was recoreded saying, “I hope they stomp his ass.” Hemphill was not present at the second location where Nichols was beaten.  Hemphill has been relieved of his duties.

UPDATE # 2:   Former Phoenix police officer Brandon Tatum revealed that Memphis Police Chief Cerelyn “CJ” Davis was fired from her position as Chief of the Atlanta Police Department because she was over a unit that was investigating a crime in which her friend’s husband was suspected of having sex with “50-something kids, minors, I believe it was minors and he ended up going to prison for it. But because she was trying to cover it up, and it wasn’t for the FBI investigation, or the federal government investigation, they would have never found out that this guy did that because she was covering it up.” Davis was fired. Tatum wnet on to say that due to affirmative action, Memphis Police department needed a black face and they hired Davis, who he described as a “degenerate, allegedly”. The same Deputy Chief of Atlanta Police Department who resigned, took the SCORPION Unit model that was used in Atlanta, over to Memphis. Health and Human Services (HHS): Whites Are Giving Non-Whites Alzheimer’s Through ‘Racism’

“Entrenched systemic racism” is a significant risk factor for Alzheimer’s disease and dementia in non-White Americans, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) claimed in its 2022 update on how to fight the disease. The HHS said that said Black, Hispanic and low-income populations are more likely to face health-related risk factors that contribute to Alzheimer’s disease due to “structural iniquities” that include “underinvestment in education systems, less walkable communities, decreased access to nutritious food, barriers to health care access and low quality of care in their communities.” The media has also claims that white people are poisoning non-whites through air pollution. The media is promoting these lies to incite hatred against white people.

Those inequities include “underinvestment in education systems, less walkable communities, decreased access to nutritious food, barriers to health care access and low quality of care in their communities.”

The report recommended that one way to reduce the risk of Alzheimer’s is to focus on “cultural competence and equity.”

Becerra and Levine prefer to just blame white people.

The media has also claimed that white people are poisoning non-whites through air pollution.
