Anti-Defamation League (ADL) Calls for Advertisers to Boycott Tucker Carlson After ‘Replacement’ Remarks

After Tucker Carlson said that Democrats are deliberately importing immigrants to weaken American voters’ power by diluting the vote of citizens, the ADL called for companies to pull their advertisements from his show because they say his remarks promote the racist “white replacement” conspiracy theory popular among white supremacists and anti-Semites who believe white people are under attack by other ethnic groups. Carlson also said that Israel uses the same argument against Palestinian “bi-nationalism” which, theoretically, could cause Jews to become a minority. ADL CEO Jonathan Greenblatt, in a speech to the World Federation of Advertisers, urged companies to withdraw support, not just from TV shows that it finds objectionable, but also from the networks. He previously stated that “CEOs have become the fourth branch of government.” -GEG

The Anti-Defamation League urged companies Tuesday to pull their advertisements from Tucker Carlson’s Fox News show, the latest fallout after the controversial host and frequent boycott target said Democrats are deliberately importing immigrants to weaken American voters’ power, comments the ADL saw as an embrace of the racist “white replacement” theory.

KEY FACTS

In an appearance on Fox News Primetime two weeks ago, Carlson argued Democrats are working to replace current U.S. voters with a “brand new electorate” made up largely of “obedient” immigrants from poorer countries.

The ADL called on Fox to fire Carlson for what it said was a nod to “white replacement,” a conspiracy theory popular among white supremacists and anti-Semites who falsely believe white people are being driven out of existence by other ethnic groups.

ADL CEO Jonathan Greenblatt went a step further in a Tuesday morning speech to the World Federation of Advertisers, urging companies to use their “advertising muscle” to hold outlets like Fox News accountable for comments like Carlson’s.

Carlson claimed he wasn’t talking about white replacement, but Greenblatt said his message “was not lost on those white supremacists and bigots who are now applauding him.”

Fox News did not respond to a request for comment.

[L]et me share with you another vivid example of how hate speech and white supremacy is moving from the margins into the mainstream.

Just two weeks ago on his Fox News program, Tucker Carlson openly endorsed the white supremacist “Great Replacement Theory.” If you haven’t heard of it, this is a virulently racist and antisemitic conspiracy theory that holds a secret group of Jewish people are plotting to flood the United States with non-whites and immigrants in order to commit “white genocide.”

This is not a new idea. In fact, it is a longstanding, toxic staple of white supremacist ideology. And yet, in front of the largest primetime audience in America, Mr. Carlson asserted this was happening because the Democratic Party intentionally was engineering a huge influx of immigration to bolster its voter base.

Now, I don’t need to tell you how ugly this rhetoric is — especially when it is repeated by someone with millions of viewers across the country. But it’s also dangerous, literally a prompt to violence.

Replacement Theory led to the chants of “Jews will not replace us” in Charlottesville in 2017, the night before they mowed down and murdered Heather Heyer. Extremists invoked Replacement Theory when they massacred 11 Jews in a synagogue in Pittsburgh in 2018; 51 Muslim worshippers at 2 mosques in Christchurch in 2019, and 22 Latinos in the parking lot of a Wal-Mart in El Paso that same year. So, make no mistake: This is a deeply dangerous message.

Now, immediately after this segment aired, we reached out to the network with a simple appeal: It’s time for Carlson to go. The response we received back from Fox Chairman Lachlan Murdoch could be summarized as follows: We respect you and the ADL, but Tucker didn’t really mean it. He was talking about voting rights, not embracing a white supremacist trope.

But I can assure you that Carlson’s message was not lost on those white supremacists and bigots who are now applauding him for embracing their talking points.

Why do I share this story?

Again, it is an example of how hatred is being mainstreamed in America in 2021. And it is another example where you, advertisers, have a potential role to play.

Through your advertising muscle, you have a distinct and powerful voice in what information networks like Fox and Facebook will and will not allow on their platforms.

Biden’s CDC Director Says Racism is a “Serious Public Health Threat”

Biden’s CDC Director Rochelle Walensky on Thursday declared racism a “serious public health threat” and said the agency will accelerate its work to “address racism as a fundamental driver of racial and ethnic health inequities in the United States.” She said that Covid-19 funding will be used to make investments in racial and ethnic minority communities to fund infrastructure and resources for disparities related to Covid-19 and other health conditions. The CDC also is launching a new web portal called ‘Racism and Health’ to monitor their progress around tis issue. -GEG

This is Joe Biden’s America.

Biden’s CDC Director Rochelle Walensky on Thursday declared racism a “serious public health threat” and said the agency will accelerate its work to “address racism as a fundamental driver of racial and ethnic health inequities in the United States.”

Walesnky said the Covid-19 pandemic “illuminated inequities that have existed for generations and revealed for all of America a known, but often unaddressed, epidemic impacting public health: racism.”

The CDC chief said: “What we know is this: racism is a serious public health threat that directly affects the well-being of millions of Americans. As a result, it affects the health of our entire nation. Racism is not just the discrimination against one group based on the color of their skin or their race or ethnicity, but the structural barriers that impact racial and ethnic groups differently to influence where a person lives, where they work, where their children play, and where they worship and gather in community. These social determinants of health have life-long negative effects on the mental and physical health of individuals in communities of color.”

Leftists Create Website to Dox Trump Donors

A new leftist doxing website created to intimidate Trump donors by publishing their names and addresses along with Google maps and data from the Federal Elections Commission. Originally, the site was Racist.watch, but it now directs to DonaldTrump.watch, and appears to have been created to encourage violence against Trump supporters. The website appears to have changed its front page from using the caption “Americans That Give Money To Support A Racist” to a new caption that reads “Americans that Donated to a Vulgar, Lying, Draft Dodger and Tax Cheat. 220,000 DEAD”

A new leftist doxing website created to intimidate Trump donors by exposing their data with the help of Google maps and data allegedly scraped from the FEC is a great opportunity to connect with your neighbors and make friends.

The site, DonaldTrump.watch, was clearly created to encourage terrorism against us but it also helps to show we’re not alone.

The site allows anyone to search throughout the country down to their own neighborhoods and see the names and addresses of all Trump donors (don’t put your address in, just scroll to wherever and click “search here” at the top).

New York Luxury Retail Stores Are Being Terrorized by Shoplifting Mobs

Bands of shoplifters are terrorizing Soho’s high-end boutiques, lifting hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of designer merchandise, and in some cases, threatening security guards to keep quiet — or be labeled ‘racist’. A local reported that high-end Celine was looted of $1.5 million in merchandise during the George Floyd riots in May, and the blatant hit-and-run thievery continues “every week” in ritzy stores such as Prada, Moncler, Dior and Balenciaga. Nearly all of these stores virtue-signaled in favor of Black Lives Matter a few months ago.

Bands of shoplifters are terrorizing Soho’s high-end boutiques, lifting hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of designer merchandise, and in some cases, threatening security guards to keep quiet — or be labeled racist, The Post has learned.

The disturbing pattern began in late May during the riots that rocked the city in the wake of the George Floyd police custody death. High-end Celine was looted of $1.5 million in merchandise then, and the blatant thievery continues “every week” in ritzy stores such as Prada, Moncler, Dior and Balenciaga, one plugged-in local said.

“This is happening every week. Walk around Soho on Wooster Street and Greene Street, Mercer Street. … You have huge bouncers out there trying to deter hit-and-run activity,” the source, a restaurateur, said.

But in some cases, the thieves are given carte blanche to steal.

“If they [store personnel] stop them and say anything in the store before they’ve left the building then it often gets turned into a racial accusation,” the source said.

“The brands … tell their employees to walk away,” the insider added. “They don’t want to be the next Instagram video claiming they are a racist brand.”

Soho store managers, especially those employed by national retailers, remain tightlipped for fear of ‘R-word’ reprisal, bad publicity or tarnishing their brand, the source said.

Democrat Party Operatives Warn Media Not to Criticize Kamala Harris

Democrat operatives, pretending to be advocates for women, sent a memo to media organizations cautioning against criticism of vice presidential nominee Kamala Harris, under the threat that critical coverage will be declared racist and/or sexist, and that can destroy journalists reputations. They wrote, “We intend to collectively and individually monitor coverage and we will call out those we believe take our country backwards with sexist and/or racist coverage. As we enter another historic moment, we will be watching you.” The women who signed this warning include Democrat operatives like Valerie Jarrett, individuals associated with Planned Parenthood, Emily’s List, and NARAL. -GEG

Media organizations have just been warned by the Democratic Party machine that they better be very, very careful with how they cover Joe Biden’s vice presidential choice — just revealed to be Kamala Harris. Any criticism of the expected woman will be considered racist and sexist, we are told. Oh, they wrap up that threat in a word salad, but that’s the bottom line: There should be second and even third thoughts about any criticism of Mr. Biden’s VP pick.

An actual memo went out from an ad hoc group of Democratic operatives (pretending to be advocates for women) to media organizations with orders on how to proceed with their coverage. The fact that they expected this partisan missive to be accepted and adhered to by media entities tells you all you need to know about the problem with today’s legacy media.

For decades, the Democrats have enjoyed a pliant media. Ranging from covering up for John F. Kennedy’s affairs, to ignoring Hillary Clinton’s health and corruption issues during the 2016 race, the media certainly have never needed such a public reminder about their duty to handle a Democratic politician like a fragile, and special, golden egg. So why now? Because identity politics demands it, and with news now disseminated beyond the broadcast networks and just a few loyal newspapers, Democrats need to reinforce the need for media protection in order to gaslight the public about their real agenda and inherent incompetence.

Hiding Mr. Biden in a basement has been absurdly accepted by the media. Unable to toss Ms. Harris into a literal basement, they’re now trying to construct a virtual bunker for her.

The implication of the memo was any critical coverage deemed unfair (and all would be deemed so) will be declared racist and/or sexist. They even invoke George Floyd’s name for extra impact, “Our country — and your newsrooms — have learned a lot since the [death of George Floyd while in Minneapolis police custody] and the subsequent protests for racial equality that his death spurred … We know from public reporting that many of your newsrooms had internal conversations about your coverage, your diversity and your editorial judgments,” it read in part.

“A woman VP candidate, and possibly a Black or Brown woman candidate, requires the same kind of internal consideration about systemic inequality as you undertook earlier this year …” They write, “We are here to help you with this challenge … We intend to collectively and individually monitor coverage and we will call out those we believe take our country backwards with sexist and/or racist coverage. As we enter another historic moment, we will be watching you.”

That’s subtle. Said no one ever.

The women signing onto to this warning include Democratic operatives like Valerie Jarrett — the Obama associate and surrogate for the Biden campaign, multiple individuals associated with Planned Parenthood, Hilary Rosen — a longtime Hillary Clinton operative, and representatives from other Democratic and liberal entities like Emily’s List and NARAL.

Black Man Shoots Elderly Couple Visiting Their Son’s Grave. News Media is Silent.

Delaware: Sheldon C. Francis, 29, fatally shot an unarmed white couple, Paul Marino, 86, and his wife Lidia, 85, as they were visiting their son’s grave last week. Francis was dressed in black with a black face mask, carrying a rifle with a scope. He later was seen in a wooded area before engaging in a shootout with police officers, which ended with his death. Some websites have speculated that Francis was seeking revenge for the killing of Ahmaud Arbery in Georgia, but there is no evidence of that, and Francis’ motive is unknown. Mainstream media is ignoring this story. -GEG

A Delaware man fatally shot an 86-year-old man and an 86-year-old woman at a veterans cemetery Friday, authorities said.

According to the Delaware State Police, Sheldon C. Francis, 29, of Middletown, shot the couple, who lived in Elkton, Maryland, while they were visiting the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Bear just before 10:15 a.m.

The woman died at the scene, and the man died Saturday at an area hospital, WCAU reported. The names of the couple have not been released.

State police said they engaged Francis in a shootout around noon in a wooded area adjacent to the cemetery, according to a news release. Francis was found dead from a gunshot wound around 4 p.m. in the same area.

Two White Men Arrested in Shooting of Black Man Who They Believed Was a Thief

Greg McMichael said there had been several break-ins in the neighborhood. He told police he saw Ahmaud Arbery running down the street and he asked his son, Travis, to help him confront Arbery. The two allegedly got a shotgun and handgun because they “didn’t know if Arbery was armed or not.”  The two men got into their truck and followed Arbery, who was running. When they pulled up next to Arbery, there was a struggle for the gun and Arbery was shot to death.

No arrests were for more than two months after the shooting, prompting outrage from Arbery’s family and their lawyer called the killing a “modern lynching”.

A new video shows a man who appeared to be Arbery going into a vacant home that was under construction in the McMichaels’ neighborhood on the day he was killed.

Brunswick, GA – The fourth in a series of prosecutors was appointed Monday morning to take over the fatal shooting of Ahmaud Arbery in February just a day after the Georgia Attorney General’s Office asked for a federal investigation of the handling of the case.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported that Cobb County District Attorney Joyette Holmes has been appointed to head up the prosecution of 64-year-old Gregory McMichael, and his son, 34-year-old Travis McMichael, who were both charged with Arbery’s murder and aggravated assault on Friday.

Holmes was appointed by Georgia Governor Brian Kemp to replace Vic Reynolds when he left to become director of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) and is the first black district attorney in Cobb County.

On Sunday, Georgia Attorney General Chris Carr asked the U.S. Department of Justice (DoJ) to investigate the handling of the case after a whole lot of new information came to light following the release of a video on Thursday, The Washington Post reported.

The community was outraged that it took two months and intervention by GBI before the first arrests were made in the bizarre incident that left Arbery, whose family said was just out jogging, fatally shot on a residential street.

The police report said the incident began when Arbery jogged past the home of Gregory McMichael and his son, Travis McMichael, the Associated Press reported.

The McMichaels told police afterwards that they thought Arbery was the suspect in several recent burglaries in the neighborhood, so they armed themselves and followed him, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.

The men jumped in their pickup truck and followed the 25 year old as he jogged through the neighborhood.

The video, filmed by the McMichaels’ friend, Willian Bryan, who was following in another vehicle, showed Arbery jogging up the middle of the residential road toward a white pickup truck was stopped ahead of him.

In the video, Arbery dodged to the right onto the grass to go around the stopped truck.

Yelling can be heard in the video for a second, and then a gunshot, just before Arbery reappeared in front of the truck.

The video showed Gregory McMichael standing up in the bed of the pickup with a gun in his hand.

Arbery appeared to engage Travis McMichael, who was holding a shotgun, in a struggle for the gun that drifted off camera for a split second.

While they were off-camera, Travis McMichael’s gun went off – a puff of smoke is visible on the left side of the screen that indicated where the gunshot came from.

The video showed Arbery and Travis McMichael veered back into the frame, still engaged in a struggle over the gun, and then there was a third gunshot.

Arbery took a couple steps away from Travis McMichael and collapsed face-first in the middle of the street, the video showed.

Gregory McMichael got down from the back of the pickup, gun in hand, and was walking toward where Arbery lay on the ground as the video ended.

The police report said he claimed he and his son had called out to the jogger and told him they wanted to talk to him, the Associated Press reported.

Gregory McMichael told police that Arbery “began to violently attack” his son and then the two men fought over the shotgun.

Arbery was shot twice and died.

No arrests were for more than two months after the shooting, prompting outrage from Arbery’s family and community.

The first two prosecutors who were assigned to the case had to recuse themselves because of professional connections to Gregory McMichael, The New York Times reported.

The older McMichael recently retired from a long career as an investigator for the Brunswick district attorney’s office.

Prior to joining the district attorney’s office, Gregory McMichael was an officer with the Glynn County Police Department for seven years, The New York Times reported.

On Friday, Two Glynn county commissioners revealed that Brunswick District Attorney Jackie Johnson’s office refused to allow police to arrest either of the suspects at the scene, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.

“The police at the scene went to her, saying they were ready to arrest both of them,” Glynn County Commissioner Allen Booker said. “These were the police at the scene who had done the investigation. She shut them down to protect her friend McMichael.”

Glynn County Commissioner Peter Murphy confirmed Booker’s account and said officers at the scene told the district attorney they had probable cause to make the arrests, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.

Eventually, Johnson recused herself from the case because she had previously been Gregory McMichael’s boss.

But the next prosecutor to get the case said there was no probable to arrest the McMichaels.

Documents obtained by The New York Times revealed that George E. Barnhill, a prosecutor with the Waycross Judicial District who was previously assigned to the case, had argued that both McMichaels had acted legally under the Georgia citizen’s arrest and self-defense statutes.

Barnhill recused himself from the case after Arbery’s mother, Wanda Cooper Jones, complained about a conflict of interest, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.

It turned out that Barnhill’s son had worked with Gregory McMichael on an earlier prosecution of Ahmaud Arbery for the Brunswick District Attorney’s Office, CNN reported.

Tom Durden, the third prosecutor assigned to the case, was bombarded with criticism after he said he wanted to convene a grand jury to determine whether the McMichaels should be charged, the Associated Press reported.

But that could not happen for more than a month because the Georgia Supreme Court has prohibited grand juries from meeting until after June 12, The New York Times reported.

Facing intense scrutiny, Durden asked the GBI to assist with the investigation into Arbery’s death on Tuesday, WSB reported.

By Thursday, the GBI director announced that both McMichaels had been arrested.

Both men were booked into the Glynn County Jail on charges of murder and aggravated assault and remain there, held without bond, WXIA reported.

Further complicating matters, additional video was released over the weekend that showed a man who appeared to be Arbery going into a vacant home that was under construction in the McMichaels’ neighborhood on the day he was killed, WJXX reported.

The surveillance video from inside the home showed the man looking around but he did not appear to have taken anything before he left.

Police said that a man called 911 shortly before Arbery was shot to report a man had broken into the home in the video, WJXX reported.

New Policy in Seattle Public Schools Requires Teaching that Math Is Racist

The Washington State Legislature passed a law requiring that schools teach ethnic studies that uses mathematics to create racial conflict. Seattle’s Public School district produced a tentative ethnic studies plan that describes math as a subjective concept that has been used by the West to oppress racial minorities. All of this is funded by tax dollars. -GEG

Workers Registering Black Voters in Indiana Face Charges of Falsifying Registration Applications To Meet Daily Quotas

Marion County, Indiana: Twelve employees of the Indiana Voter Registration Project, under a Democrat group called Patriot Majority USA, face the possibility of prison for falsifying registration applications in black neighborhoods in order to meet daily quotas. Court documents claim that their jobs were threatened unless they signed up at least ten new voters per day.  If convicted on all charges, the defendants face up to 2 ½ years in prison.  Patriot Majority said it collected about 45,000 voter registration applications before last November’s election. –GEG

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Twelve employees of a Democrat-linked group focused on mobilizing black voters in Indiana are accused of submitting fake or fraudulent voter registration applications ahead of last year’s general election in order to meet quotas, according to charging documents filed Friday.

Prosecutors allege that 11 temporary workers employed by the Indiana Voter Registration Project created and submitted an unknown number of falsified applications. According to a probable cause affidavit, a supervisor for those canvassers, Holiday Burke, was also charged, as was the group.

Marion County Prosecutor Terry Curry said State Police found no evidence of voter fraud or voter suppression and that the charges against the workers arose from “a very bad, ill-advised business practice” of setting canvassers what appears to be a daily quota.

The Indiana Voter Registration Project’s effort to register primarily black voters was overseen by Patriot Majority USA, which has ties to the Democratic Party, including Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid and former President Bill Clinton.

Patriot Majority has denied any wrongdoing. Spokesman Bill Buck on Friday declined to comment.

State Police began investigating the group in August after a clerk in Hendricks County near Indianapolis flagged about a dozen registration forms that had missing or suspicious information. That investigation expanded to 56 counties where Patriot Majority said it had collected about 45,000 voter registration applications before last November’s election.

All 12 defendants face one count each of procuring or submitting voter registration applications known to be false, fictitious or fraudulent. Eleven of them face one perjury count each, while the 12th — their supervisor — faces one count of counterfeiting.

If convicted on all the charges each defendant faces up to 2 ½ years in prison.

The Indiana Voter Registration Project faces the same charges as the supervisor. If convicted, the group could face a fine of $10,000.

During the campaign, then-Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump and his running mate, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, raised the possibility of a “rigged” election. They offered no proof. Patriot Majority meanwhile asked the U.S. Department of Justice’s Civil Rights division to determine whether the police investigation was an attempt to suppress black voters.

In October, Curry, a Democrat, urged all sides to tone down the rhetoric.

The investigation found workers had submitted bogus applications on behalf of nonexistent residents, submitted new applications for people who were already registered, and at least one application was submitted on behalf of a minor, he said.

A search warrant unsealed on Nov. 14 says some workers admitted to falsifying registrations, saying they faced the possibility of losing their temporary job if they didn’t register at least 10 new voters a day.

The probable cause affidavit says supervisors told canvassers “to obtain their quota by any means necessary.” Canvassers were paid $10 an hour and worked five-hour shifts.
