Idaho Governor Vows to Fight Court Ruling Requiring State to Provide Sex Change Surgery for a Genetic Male Inmate Who Is a Sex Offender

Idaho Governor Brad Little (R) vowed to fight a court ruling that the state must provide a gender reassignment surgery for a convicted sex offender, Adree Edmo. He is currently serving a ten-year prison sentence for sexually abusing a 15-year-old boy when he was 22. The surgery is estimated to cost taxpayers $20,000 to $30,000 and Edmo would be eligible to transfer to a women’s prison after the surgery.

Idaho Gov. Brad Little (R) vowed to fight a court decision Friday ruling that the state must provide a multi-thousand dollar gender reassignment surgery for a convicted sex offender.

The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals upheld U.S. District Judge B. Lynn Winmill’s ruling Friday regarding inmate Adree Edmo, who is serving a ten-year prison sentence for sexually abusing a 15-year-old boy when he was 22. Edmo was reportedly diagnosed with gender dysphoria and has tried to castrate himself twice.

“She suffers every single day while they have denied this treatment to her for years and there can be no reason justifying Idaho’s continued refusal to provide her care except bias,”  Edmo’s attorney Lori Rifkin said, according to Fox 13.

The court ruled that the state’s refusal to provide surgery violated the Eighth Amendment.

Per Fox 13:

In an 85-page opinion, the panel ruled that the state of Idaho must provide gender reassignment surgery to Edmo, writing that “responsible prison officials were deliberately indifferent to Edmo’s gender dysphoria, in violation of the Eighth Amendment.”

“Prison authorities have not provided that treatment despite full knowledge of Edmo’s ongoing and extreme suffering and medical needs,” the judges wrote.

“It is enough that [her doctor] knew of and disregarded an excessive risk to Edmo’s health by rejecting her request for [gender confirmation surgery] and then never re-evaluating his decision despite ongoing harm to Edmo,” the judges added, according to NPR:

Despite two other physicians agreeing with the original treatment plan, the ruling found that “general agreement in a medically unacceptable form of treatment does not somehow make it reasonable.”

Trans Woman Smashes Four World Records and Wins Nine Events in Women’s Weightlifting Contest

Mary Gregory, a biological male who is transitioning to female, smashed four women’s weightlifting records and won nine out of nine events at a single tournament. Last week, two other trans athletes won first and second place at the Connecticut state girls indoor track championships. Biological males have higher bone density, larger muscles, and higher testosterone levels than their biological female opponents. -GEG

It’s the end of women’s sports as we know it.

For the second year in a row, transgender wrestler Mack Beggs won the Texas girls’ Class 6A 110-pound wrestling division. Beggs is in the process of transitioning from female to male and taking testosterone. Mack won the title last year too.

In October 2018 trangender Dr. Rachel McKinnon (in the middle) became the first ever transgender world champion in a womens cycling event.

In March 2017, Laurel Hubbard, a 39 year-old transgender who was born male, won her first international women’s weightlifting title in Australia breaking four national records in the process.

Last week two trans athletes won 1st and 2nd place at the Connecticut state indoor track championships.

And this week a trans woman shattered four women’s records in one day and won nine out of ten events at a single tournament.

Illinois House Passes a Bill Requiring Women, African-Americans on Corporate Boards

The Illinois House of Representatives passed a bill mandating that all publicy-traded companies headquartered in the state must have a woman and an African American sitting on their corporate boards by 2021. [If the state passes the bill into law,Bye-bye Illinois – not because women and black Americans should not make policy decisions for businesses, but because the concept is racial and gender discrimination, it violates the property rights of stockholders, and it increases the risk of business failure by forcing owners to place social considerations above efficiency.] -GEG

The Illinois House of Representatives has passed a bill
mandating that all publicly-traded companies headquartered in the state
will need to have a woman and an African-American sitting on its
corporate board by 2021.

Failure to comply could result in fines of up to $300,000.

A heated debate on the House floor preceded the bill’s passage, according to Illinois News Network.

“I’m not going to be ashamed to stand here and fight for the
people that sent me here,” said Rep. Emanuel Chris Welch (D), who is
African-American. “Let’s stand up for our people.”

“Ashamed to fight for African-Americans to have a right in the room? Are you kidding me?”

Opponents of the bill have warned that it will create more
hurdles for Illinois business growth, effectively signaling that the
state is unwelcoming of new companies.

Three Scholars Hoaxed Academic Journals to Expose Absurd “Grievance Studies”

Three scholars, who say they are liberals, hoaxed academic publications with twenty papers, including a ridiculous study of canine ‘rape culture’ in dog parks in Portland, Oregon, that was published in the monthly journal, Gender, Place & Culture, which focuses on something called “feminist geography.” The study was written to expose the takeover of academia by “grievance studies” that include gender studies, critical race theory, postcolonial theory, and other ‘theory’-based fields in the humanities and social sciences. The authors, James Lindsay, a math doctorate, Peter Boghossian, an assistant professor of philosophy at Portland State University, and Helen Pluckrose, a London-based scholar of English literature and history, say that reasoned criticism from the outside is often ignored by academics, so they exposed it from the inside. Out of the twenty hoax papers they penned , seven were accepted, and four were published. Each of the hoaxers expect their careers to suffer as a result of their experiment, but Mr. Lindsay said the project was worth it: “For us, the risk of letting biased research continue to influence education, media, policy and culture is far greater than anything that will happen to us for having done this.” -GEG

Reactions to an elaborate academic-journal hoax, dubbed “Sokal Squared” by one observer, came fast and furious on Wednesday. Some scholars applauded the hoax for unmasking what they called academe’s leftist, victim-obsessed ideological slant and low publishing standards. Others said it had proved nothing beyond the bad faith and dishonesty of its authors.

Three scholars — Helen Pluckrose, a self-described “exile from the humanities” who studies medieval religious writings about women; James A. Lindsay, an author and mathematician; and Peter Boghossian, an assistant professor of philosophy at Portland State University — spent 10 months writing 20 hoax papers that illustrate and parody what they call “grievance studies,” and submitted them to “the best journals in the relevant fields.” Of the 20, seven papers were accepted, four were published online, and three were in process when the authors “had to take the project public prematurely and thus stop the study, before it could be properly concluded.” A skeptical Wall Street Journal editorial writer, Jillian Kay Melchior, began raising questions about some of the papers over the summer.

Beyond the acceptances, the authors said, they also received four requests to peer-review other papers “as a result of our own exemplary scholarship.” And one paper — about canine rape culture in dog parks in Portland, Ore. — “gained special recognition for excellence from its journal, Gender, Place, and Culture … as one of 12 leading pieces in feminist geography as a part of the journal’s 25th anniversary celebration.”

Not all readers accepted the work as laudable scholarship. National Review took “Helen Wilson,” the fictional author of the dog-park study, to task in June for her approach. “The whole reasoning behind Wilson’s study,” wrote a staff writer, Katherine Timpf, “is the belief that researching rape culture and sexuality among dogs in parks is a brilliant way to understand more about rape culture and sexuality among humans. This is, of course, idiotic. Why? Because humans are not dogs.”

Another published paper, “Going In Through the Back Door: Challenging Straight Male Homohysteria, Transhysteria, and Transphobia Through Receptive Penetrative Sex Toy Use,” appeared in Sexuality and Culture. It recommends that men anally self-penetrate “to become less transphobic, more feminist, and more concerned about the horrors of rape culture.”

The trolling trio wondered, they write, if a journal might even “publish a feminist rewrite of a chapter from Adolf Hitler’s Mein Kampf.” Yup. “Our Struggle Is My Struggle: Solidarity Feminism as an Intersectional Reply to Neoliberal and Choice Feminism” was accepted by the feminist social-work journal Affilia.

Darts and Laurels

Some scholars applauded the hoax.

“Is there any idea so outlandish that it won’t be published in a Critical/PoMo/Identity/‘Theory’ journal?” tweeted the Harvard psychologist Steven Pinker.

“Three intrepid academics,” wrote Yascha Mounk, an author and lecturer on government at Harvard, “just perpetrated a giant version of the Sokal Hoax, placing … fake papers in major academic journals. Call it Sokal Squared. The result is hilarious and delightful. It also showcases a serious problem with big parts of academia.”

University of Minnesota Plans to Require Students and Professors to Use Preferred Pronouns Or Face Expulsion and Firing

The University of Minnesota has proposed a policy that could punish students by expelling them, and professors by firing them, if they do not use someone’s preferred gender pronoun.  Students are allowed to choose from a list of personal pronouns on the campus website: He/him/his, none, prefer not to specify, she/her/hers, they/them/theirs, or ze/zir/zirs. They can also specify their gender as follows: Agender, gender nonconforming, genderqueer, man, nonbinary, prefer not to specify, two spirit, woman, or they can enter their own.  This policy is dangerous because it goes beyond censorship and actually compels speech.

The University of Minnesota has proposed a policy that would punish students and professors for not using someone’s preferred gender pronoun. Failure to do so may result in expulsion for students or firing for professors.

The draft policy, titled “Equity and Access: Gender Identity, Gender Expression, Names and Pronouns,” states that UM wants to provide an environment “free from discrimination and harassment based on gender identity and gender expression …” The school will do so by providing gender inclusive options available for housing, restrooms and locker rooms.

The school will allow students and faculty to “specify a name and/or gender identity that differs from the name and/or sex, sex assigned at birth, and/or gender identity listed on their legal documents.” They will also be allowed to specify their preferred pronouns (such as he, she, ze, or something else) “without being required to provide documentation of their gender identity.”

Students and faculty can specify their preferred pronouns and gender identity either in writing or verbally. School officials “must take reasonable steps” to maintain the person’s original names and sex in university records if they differ from the preferred gender identity and pronouns.

Students are allowed to choose from a list of personal pronouns on the campus website: He/him/his, none, prefer not to specify, she/her/hers, they/them/theirs, or ze/zir/zirs. They can also specify their gender identity as one of the following: Agender, gender nonconforming, genderqueer, man, nonbinary, prefer not to specify, two spirit, woman, or they can enter their own.

Parent-Organized ‘Sex Ed Sit Out’ Protests Gender and Graphic Sex Ed Indoctrination in Schools

Elizabeth Johnston, known as ‘Activist Mommy’ is an organizer for a protest by parents in multiple cities across the US who will pull their children from school on April 23 to protest sex education programs that teach dangerous and promiscuous behaviors, and confuse gender identity. A former Planned Parenthood health center director says that the organization pushes sex education on children because young people are the target for their products, abortion and birth control. Another former Planned Parenthood employee said that its sex education programs are similar to techniques that pedophiles use to break down children’s inhibitions. School boards and administrators use civil rights and anti-bullying laws to include gender ideology and LGBT-inclusive sex education.

Parents across the nation will pull their children out of school on April 23 to protest sex education programs that have become steeped in gender ideology due to an agenda forced by pro-abortion and LGBT rights organizations.

Dubbed “Sex Ed Sit Out,” the protest has been organized by parents who want to know why their children are learning graphic details about oral and anal sex and how to masturbate:

The protest is taking off from Charlotte, North Carolina, to nearly a dozen other cities, reports the Washington Times, including Austin and San Antonio, Texas; Spokane, Washington; Sacramento, California; Bloomington, Indiana; and Martinsburg, West Virginia.

Internationally, protests are planned for Vancouver, British Columbia, as well as Mulgrave, Australia.

“Most parents do not know this is taking place in schools,” said one of the protest’s organizers, Elizabeth Johnston – also known as the “Activist Mommy.”

“The wool is completely being pulled over their eyes, and sometimes when parents catch on and start inquiring, bureaucrats are using deceptive means of not informing them what is being taught.”

Johnston first announced plans for the Sex Ed Sit Out this month in an interview with the Christian Post.

“Why are our tax dollars going to pay for curriculums and resources that teach dangerous and promiscuous behaviors which most parents find morally abhorrent and the CDC has stated are a health risk?” she asked:

Johnston and other concerned mothers started a network and began planning the protest.

“I kept stumbling across viral videos online of concerned parents sharing the graphic nature of sex education and anti-bullying curriculums,” she told the Post. “I personally homeschool my children but felt sorry for the parents who feel helpless to stop the stranglehold of special interest groups who are funding and pushing these graphic and dangerous programs in public schools.”

On the day of the Sex Ed Sit Out, parents plan to send the same letter to school principals explaining the absence of their children. The letter reads, “Pornographic sex ed is being implemented across our globe in an attempt to indoctrinate our children with ‘sexual rights.’ This is unacceptable and [I am] joining others both nationally and globally in taking a stand to say ‘enough!’”

“We send our kids to school to learn reading and writing and science and history, not how to question whether they really are a boy or a girl,” Johnston told CBN News.

Parents have been pushing back against school boards and administrators who cater to the notion that gender ideology and LGBT-inclusive sex education must be included in school curricula due to civil rights and anti-bullying laws – as threatened by groups such as the Human Rights Campaign and Planned Parenthood.

Abby Johnson, former Planned Parenthood health center director-turned pro-life activist, told Breitbart News, “If you go to Planned Parenthood’s social media accounts, you will see post after post about their desire to push their sex education on children. And that is why they still exist. They sell a product to our young people.”

Johnson, who founded And Then There Were None (ATTWN), an organization that helps abortion workers leave their jobs, says Planned Parenthood actually discourages children from talking to their parents about sex.

Episcopalian Church to Adopt a ‘Gender-Neutral God’ Policy

Episcopalians in Washington, DC passed three resolutions: one declared the city a ‘sanctuary diocese’, the second was acceptance of transgenderism, and the third called for an end to gendered references to God. Reverend Alex Dyer argues that his goal is to follow Jesus’ message. In practice, however, his church has become aggressively aligned with leftist politics – and those who used to attend services to follow the message of Jesus have left in droves.

[Comment: God has no need for gender and must be far more advanced than a mere sexual creature, but humans are incapable of conceptualizing a being or entity without gender. There is no word in our vocabulary for such, unless the word is ‘it’, but that is far from adequate. Imagine how short of the mark it would be to say: “Let us be thankful to God and all that It has created.” Humans use the word Him, not to represent gender, but to create an image in the mind that is familiar to the human experience. That image is useful as an avatar of an entity that is unknowable to us and which may have no physical form at all. The Reverend surely knows all this but continues to reinforce the so-called genderless revolution, because it is destructive of the concept of family as the source of personal support and safety. Collectivists are hostile to the family, because it stands in the way of dependence on the state.] -GEG

‘Queer Kids Stuff’ Is a Youtube Channel Teaching Children Ages 3 to 7 about the LGBT Community

‘Queer Kids Stuff’ is a Youtube channel that is produced by Lindsay Amer and filmed on a Sesame Street-style set.  According to the show’s website, it was created to help children ages 3-7 better understand the LGBT community. However, the substance of the program is, not to explain, but to glamorize. The latest video features Jeff, who makes the concept of being a drag queen seem like lots of fun. –GEG

“Queer Kid Stuff,” a YouTube channel geared toward teaching children about sexual preferences, homosexuality, transgenderism, and more, celebrated “Pride Month” by releasing a video talking to kids about people dressing in drag.

The producer and host of “Queer Kid Stuff,” Lindsay Amer, created the channel in June 2016 to help children ages 3-7 better understand the LGBT community, according to the show’s website.

“Young queer people need to see themselves represented in their media and that is exactly what I aim to do,” Amer wrote.

In the videos, she and her co-host Teddy, a stuffed bear, invite guests on to explain various parts of the LGBT community, including the definitions of “gay,” “gender,” and “intersex.” They also discuss the subject of consent and include a sing-along video to go with it. Additionally, the channel discusses the Disney movie, “Frozen,” and how Elsa is allegedly homosexual.

In the latest video, Amer invites Jeff to explain the concept of drag queens to the kids. Following the pattern of every “Queer Kid Stuff” video, Teddy begins by asking the guest what his pronouns are and how he identifies.
