California AG Publishes Names and Addresses of Concealed Carry Gun Permit Holders

California Attorney General Rob Bonta posted the names, addresses and birth dates of concealed-carry permit holders on the California Department of Justice website on Monday. Bonta claimed the move was to help the public access data on guns in California, including information about the issuance of Concealed Carry Weapons (CCW) permits and Gun Violence Restraining Orders. The list included 244 judge permits and 420 reserve officers. Lee Williams, an editor at the Second Amendment Foundation, said that Bonta published the names of CCW permit holders was retaliation for the Supreme Court’s recent decision that affirmed the right to bear arms outside the home. He wrote that Bonta’s true intent was to put Californians on notice that if they want to exercise this right, they will pay a price, and the price will be their privacy, safety, and security. Guns are the third most sought-after item by burglars and these gun owners are now targets.

On Monday, California Attorney General Rob Bonta posted the names and addresses of concealed-carry permit holders on the California Department of Justice website.

In a press release, Bonta claimed the move was to “improve transparency and information sharing for firearms-related data and includes broad enhancements to the platform to help the public access data on firearms in California, including information about the issuance of Concealed Carry Weapons (CCW) permits and Gun Violence Restraining Orders (GVROs).”

He also claimed it will help promote “gun violence” research, and foster “trust between law enforcement and the communities we serve.”

Make No Mistake, This Was 100% BS.

Bonta’s move was clearly retaliation for the Supreme Court’s decision in New York State Rifle and Pistol Association v. Bruen, which affirmed the right to bear arms outside the home.

Bonta’s true intent was to put Californians on notice that if they want to exercise this right, they will pay a price, and the price will be their privacy, safety, and security.

You see, Bonta has created a handy reference guide for burglars, home invaders, and other criminals. Now, they’ve got a searchable database of firearm owners and homes where guns are kept. Guns have always been the third most sought-after item by burglars, after prescription meds and cash.

What’s not included in Bonta’s press release, tweets or media interviews is the chilling effect this will have on the Second Amendment in the Golden State. Anyone who wants to carry a defensive firearm must now risk a complete loss of their privacy and the increased likelihood they and their family will be targeted by criminals.

I’m sure California’s booming gun-ban industry, which likely played a significant role in developing this idea, has already made plans on how to use the database to its advantage. Look for massive doxing, which will include false red-flag complaints, cyber-crimes, and other online harassment.

Tables Are Turned on New York Times When ‘Hate Speech’ Is Discovered in Tweets of Times’ Journalist.

Last week, Breitbart broke a story about ‘hate speech’ by a New York Times journalist. This was in response to the Times previously announcing it intends to target President Trump on racial-bias issues. This is further evidence that the Times follows a double standard, but that is not big news, because most people already know that. The embarrassment to the Times, however, is noteworthy. -GEG

The New York Times is trying especially hard this week to play the victim after it discovered pro-Trump operatives have been digging through its employees’ public statements.

Fortunately, the Times’ peers in the press are not indulging the newspaper in its pity party.

“[O]f all the thin-skinned beasts prowling the journalistic forest, few have a thinner epidermis than the boys and girls who work at the New York Times,” said Politico’s Jack Shafer in an article titled, “Why Journalists’ Old Tweets Are Fair Game for Trump.”

Elsewhere, the Washington Post’s Eric Wemple penned an analysis, titled “Breitbart burned the New York Times. And the Times really doesn’t like it,” accusing the newspaper of wanting to “tar the motivations” of the operatives while also refusing to admit “they have brought actionable information to public attention.”

The thrust of the Shafer and Wemple’s analyses is this: It is not dirty pool for pro-Trump operatives to spelunk through newsroom employees’ public remarks. It is not unfair for political operatives to document carefully the past statement of journalists and editors in the employ of the nation’s largest and most powerful newsrooms. It most certainly is not an “assault” or an “attack” on the free press or democracy itself, as New York Times publisher A.G. Sulzberger claimed this weekend in a memo to staff.

The White House has paired with activists to embarrass hostile newsrooms, which Sulzberger claims is “an escalation of an ongoing campaign against the free press.”

Joaquin Castro Doxxed Trump Donors and Their Employers, Exposing Them to Unhinged Leftists, to Intimidate Future Contributors

Democrat Texas Representative Joaquin Castro, who chairs the presidential campaign of his twin brother Julian, tweeted the names and employers of 44 San Antonia residents and businesses who maxed out their donations to President Donald Trump’s reelection campaign. he cap on donations from individuals is $2,800, so the list targets affluent citizens, not millionaires. The congressman claims he is targeting voters who “are fueling a campaign of hate that labels Hispanic immigrants as ‘invaders.’” -GEG

On Tuesday, Democratic Texas Rep. Joaquin Castro, who chairs the
presidential campaign of his twin brother Julian, tweeted the names and
employers of more than 40 San Antonians who maxed out their donations to
President Donald Trump’s reelection campaign.

Mind you, the federal maximum is $2,800 per individual, so we’re not
talking about nefarious millionaires and billionaires or political
activists or public figures. The congressman doxed a bunch of regular
citizens whose only sin was displeasing Castro.

The congressman claims
he is targeting voters who “are fueling a campaign of hate that labels
Hispanic immigrants as ‘invaders.’” First of all, if Castro disagrees
with his fellow Texans on whether illegal immigrants are “invaders,” he
is free to try to change their minds. Instead he decided to sic every
unhinged progressive activist in Texas on these businesses, which, one
imagines, employ and serve plenty of people in his community.

Then again, Castro has no clue if these individuals support Trump’s
rhetoric on immigration or even if they support his position on the
borders. Maybe some of his victims maxed out because they’re happy with
the unemployment rate or like GOP’s tax policy. Or maybe they see the
election as a binary choice and prefer a demagogic president to a
leftist congressman who feels comfortable doxing his own
constituents? Who knows?

Not that it matters. I may believe that Castro is a lightweight
authoritarian, it still doesn’t mean I should post his family’s business
addresses on Twitter.

Many Democrats like Castro have adopted a political zealotry that
rationalizes basically any tactic they deem is necessary to fight Trump.
This, I guess, now includes intimidation. That’s because the purpose of
tweeting these names wasn’t merely to bully those who have already
donated to Trump, but to warn anyone in his district thinking about
contributing to Trump to consider the potential retaliatory public
attacks on their businesses (or worse.)

Democrat Staffer Jackson Cosko Gets 4 Years in Prison for Doxxing GOP Senators During Kavanaugh Hearings

Jackson Cosko, 27, who was accused of doxxing US Senators in October 2018, during the Kavanaugh hearing, and also threatened to leak the lawmakers’ children’s health information if any witnesses dared go to the authorities about his criminal activities. He pleaded guilty to five felonies in April, including making public restricted personal information, computer fraud, witness tampering and obstruction of justice. He was sentenced to four years in prison, and the judge said that the sentence was intended to signal that politically driven criminal harassment will be punished severely.

In October 2018, during the senate hearings for Judge Brett Kavanaugh,  Capitol Police arrested 27-year-old Jackson Cosko of DC for “allegedly posting private, identifying information (doxxing) about one or more United States Senators.”

Accused ‘doxxer’ 27-year-old Jackson Cosko also threatened to leak Republican Senators’ children’s health information if any witnesses dared go to the authorities about his criminal activities.

Magistrate Judge Deborah Robinson ordered 27-year-old Jackson Cosko of D.C. to continue to be held without bond.

Pro-Life Mother and Daughters Accosted by Lawmaker and Berated for Publicly Praying Outside Planned Parenthood

Pennsylvania state Representative, Brian Sims, a Democrat, filmed himself yelling at a woman and her daughters praying outside Planned Parenthood. In the video, he offered $100 to anyone who would step forward and identify the family, which was clearly a threat to create trouble for them in the future. Sims, who thought the fact that mother and daughters where Caucasians was evidence of ill intent, responded to criticism on Twitter by saying: “Bring it, Bible Bullies! You are bigots, sexists, and misogynists and I see right through your fake morals and your broken values.” It is clear from Sims’ actions and words that he is the real bully, misogynist, sexist, and racist. He yells “Shame, Shame” at the Woman, but the real shame is his. It will be interesting to see if Sims is re-elected to the Pennsylvania legislature after this public display.] -GEG

  • Democratic Pennsylvania state Rep. Brian Sims filmed himself yelling at people praying outside a Planned Parenthood.
  • Ashley
Garecht, the mother of two girls Sims filmed, said in an interview with
The Daily Caller News Foundation that Sims’s behavior left her
    daughters and their friend shaken.
  • The group was praying outside the Planned Parenthood during the Thursday before Easter.

The
mother of two girls Democratic Pennsylvania state Rep. Brian Sims
filmed said he targeted her daughters and their friend with anger,
leaving them shaken after he offered a reward for their information in a
video posted to social media.

Ashley Garecht said she had been
to the southeastern Pennsylvania Planned Parenthood about five times
before the incident took place. On Holy Thursday of Easter weekend, she
brought her 13- and 15-year-old daughters and their friend with her to
pray outside the abortion clinic.

Garecht told The Daily Caller News Foundation Sims
approached her and her children twice, the first time without a camera,
but “yelling pretty aggressively” and focusing mainly on the teenaged
girls. Garecht said she repeatedly stepped between him and the girls and
asked him not to speak to them. (RELATED: Pennsylvania Rep Offers Reward To Anyone Who Will Dox Pro-Life Teens In His Video)

“We
weren’t trying to talk to anyone coming in or out of the clinic,” she
told TheDCNF. “In candor, what concerned me was that he was yelling
mostly at the girls.”

She said Sims left for about 10 minutes and
returned with a camera as Garecht and the three girls were preparing to
leave. He then proceeded to film the girls and encourage viewers to
send him information on them.

“What we’ve got here is a bunch of …
pseudo-Christian protesters who’ve been out here shaming young girls
for being here,” Sims said in the video as he filmed Garecht and the
three girls, before offering a reward for anyone who could provide their
information.

“So,
here’s the deal, I’ve got $100 to anybody who will identify these
three, and I will donate to Planned Parenthood,” Sims said in the video.

Leftists Are Still Doxxing and Making Death Threats Against Republican Senators, Even After Kavanaugh Was Sworn In

Republican lawmakers have been shouted down and intimidated by unhinged leftists leading up to Kavanaugh’s confirmation, and now the GOP lawmakers are receiving death threats on their personal cell phones.  The Senators’ private numbers are shared through a small pocket-sized book that is only issued to a small and trusted group of staffers.  Some leftists, enraged by Senator Susan Collins‘ support for Kavanaugh, have demanded she be forever harassed in public as a punishment for her decision.  Colorado Republican Senator Cory Gardner and his family members have been doxxed, with their names and home addresses made public, and Gardner’s wife has received a gruesome video of a beheading.

Brett Kavanaugh was sworn in as the 114th Supreme Court Justice in US history Saturday evening.

The Democrats, led by Dianne Feinstein and Chuck Schumer launched the most evil smear campaign against Kavanaugh in modern times–and they still lost.

Republican lawmakers have been screamed at, assaulted and intimidated by unhinged leftists leading up to Kavanaugh’s confirmation–now the GOP lawmakers are receiving death threats on their personal cell phones.

The hysterical liberals aren’t taking the news well–tears flowed and they screamed at the sky.

Unhinged leftists also stormed the SCOTUS steps and pounded on the courtroom doors!

Now they’re threatening to kill Republican Senators.

An unnamed GOP Senator told FOX News that Senators have had death threats text messaged and called in to their personal phones.

The Senator also said this is “unusual.”

FOX News reported: Colleague Peter Doocy rpts a GOP senator says senators have had death threats texted to their person phones. Calls that “unusual.” Also says some senators who flew home after Kavanaugh vote were accompanied by police for protection

Capitol Police Arrested Democrat Staffer Who Was Charged with Doxxing Three GOP Senators Last Week

Jackson Cosko, a Democrat congressional intern for US Representative Sheila Jackson Lee, was arrested on allegations of publishing the personal information of Republican Senators Lindsey Graham, Mike Lee, and Orrin Hatch. According to Capitol Police, the charges against Cosko include releasing restricted, personal information to the public, witness tampering, issuing threats in interstate communications, accessing a government computer without authorization, identity theft, second-degree burglary, and unlawful entry. -GEG

A Democrat congressional staffer has been arrested and charged with publishing the personal information of three GOP senators. The arrest vindicates Rep. Maxine Waters, but may be bad news for her colleague Sheila Jackson Lee.

Jackson A. Cosko, 27, was named by the Capitol Police on Wednesday as the suspect behind the Wikipedia edits to pages of Senators Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina), Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) and Mike Lee (R-Utah), publishing their home addresses and phone numbers.

The doxx happened during last Thursday’s contentious session of the Senate Judiciary Committee, which heard the testimonies of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh and Dr. Christine Blasey-Ford, who accuses him of sexually assaulting her 36 years ago, when they were both in high school.

Initial suspicions fell on someone from the office of Rep. Maxine Waters (D-California), but she rejected all accusations. In a statement the following day, Waters said she was “utterly disgusted by the spread of the completely false, absurd, and dangerous lies and conspiracy theories that are being pedaled (sic) by ultra-right wing pundits, outlets and websites.”

Cosko’s arrest clears Waters, but may implicate several other Democrat lawmakers. According to the web service Legistorm, Cosko’s most recent employment was at the office of Sen. Maggie Hassan (D-New Hampshire). However, a letter from Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas) dated September 10 identifies Cosko as one of her House staffers.

Prior to that, Cosko interned for Senator Barbara Boxer (D-California), before she retired in 2016 and was succeeded by Kamala Harris – who currently sits on the Senate Judiciary Committee.

Maxine Waters Denied that Her Staff Doxxed Senators Lindsey Graham, Orin Hatch and Mike Lee

Personal information, such as home address and phone numbers, of Republican Senators Lindsey Graham, Mike Lee,  and Orrin Hatch was posted to Wikipedia Thursday during the hearing of Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh.  Several researchers say the IP address traces back to the office of Representative Maxine Waters. Waters responded by saying “the United States Capitol Police and our internal IT specialist have determined that the IP address in question does not belong to my office or anyone on my staff.”  Senator Rand Paul called for an investigation to determine and punish who published the personal data of the senators, thereby endangering them and their families. Graham says that he received “a bunch of people beating on my door” following the incident. -GEG

Update: On Saturday afternoon, Maxine Waters said she is “utterly disgusted by the spread of the completely false, absurd, and dangerous lies and conspiracy theories that are being pedaled by ultra-right wing pundits, outlets, and websites who are promoting a fraudulent claim that a member of my staff was responsible for the release of the personal information of Members of the United States Senate on Wikipedia.”

Waters also claimed that “the United States Capitol Police and our internal IT specialist have determined that the IP address in question does not belong to my office or anyone on my staff. The member of my staff – whose identity, personal information, and safety have been compromised as a result of these fraudulent and false allegations – was in no way responsible for the leak of this information. My office has alerted the appropriate authorities and law enforcement entities of these fraudulent claims.”

So who did it then? Waters concludes by saying that she will “ensure that the perpetrators will be revealed, and that they will be held legally liable for all of their actions that are destructive and dangerous to any and all members of my staff.”

The personal information of Republican Senators Lindsey Graham, Mike Lee and Orrin Hatch was posted to Wikipedia Thursday during the hearing of Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh.

The information, which included home addresses and phone numbers, was posted to the senators’ respective Wikipedia pages where users are allowed to make edits – all of which are logged by Wikipedia and include the editor’s IP address.

As a result of the information being made public, Sen. Hatch’s wife “has been receiving calls nonstop ON HER BIRTHDAY and their home address was made public,” according to Caleb Hull, director of content at the Republican technology firm Targeted Victory.

The IP address used to “doxx” the Senators was quickly traced back to the House of Representatives…

Someone in the House of Representatives Doxxed Senators Lindsey Graham, Mike Lee, and Orin Hatch

Republican Senators Lindsey Graham, Mike Lee, and Orrin Hatch were “doxxed”, which means their personal information was publicly posted on the internet after they questioned Christine Blasey Ford. Their personal information, including home addresses and private phone numbers, was posted to Wikipedia and Twitter. The computer IP address showed that someone in the House of Representatives executed the doxx. Other Republican Senators already have faced threats to intimidate them into voting against Kavanaugh. Senator Graham exposed the Democrats’ motive to destroy Kavanaugh’s life and hold the seat open until they think they can win in 2020.

An unknown person located in the House of Representatives on Thursday posted the personal information of Republican Sens. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, as well as Mike Lee and Orrin Hatch of Utah.

All three senators sit on the Senate Judiciary Committee, and their personal information was posted shortly after each questioned Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh during Thursday’s hearing.

“They appear to be targeting Republican members of the committee after they question Judge Kavanaugh,” a Hatch spokesman told The Daily Caller News Foundation.

The staffer noted the change revealed Hatch’s home address and that Thursday was the senator’s wife’s birthday.

The changes were immediately highlighted by a watchdog account that monitors Wikipedia changes made using IP addresses located in the House.
