States Prepare for Massive ‘Influx’ of Illegal Migrants when Title 42 Is Lifted in May

Title 42 is a Trump-era public health order, originally recommended by the CDC, that allows the rapid expulsion of illegal immigrants crossing the border. Title 42 will be lifted on May 23and a huge influx of migrants is expected. Three states, Missouri, Arizona and Louisiana, are suing to block the lifting of Title 42 while Texas Governor Abbott plans to bus illegal immigrants to Washington, DC and Florida Governor DeSantis plans to bus border crossers to Biden’s home state of Delaware.

Summary by JW Williams

Title 42 is a Trump-era public health order, originally recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), that allows the rapid expulsion of illegal immigrants crossing the border. The CDC announced it would lift Title 42 on May 23, 2022. The White House acknowledged it would lead to an “influx” of migrants at the border.

Title 42 has been used roughly 1.7 million times by the Biden administration, a figure that includes repeat border crossers.
.
The Department of Homeland Security has estimated the number of migrants encountered daily at the border could swell to 18,000, up from 7,000 per day now.
.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott said that 18,000 illegal immigrants crossing per day equates to more than a half a million illegal immigrants crossing the border every single month from more than 150 different countries.
.

Since Biden’s inauguration, 3 million illegal immigrants have crossed into the US, and over 1 million crossed in the last 6 months.
.
Missouri, Arizona and Louisiana filed a lawsuit seeking to block the lifting of Title 42 by arguing that the CDC, which issued the order, violated the Administrative Procedures Act by failing to allow for a comment period on its revocation. The CDC, however, didn’t use such notice and comment rule making to put the order in place.
.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott ordered state troopers to begin stopping and inspecting commercial vehicles coming across the border and said bus charters would be offered to take illegal migrants to Washington, DC. Texas officials also said they would begin “increased military activity” on the southern border and install razor wire at some low-water along the river to deter migrants from crossing.
.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis announced that he would send the illegal immigrants dumped by Biden’s administration in Florida to Biden’s home state of Delaware, which is a sanctuary state.

Crisis at the Border as 15,000 Haitians Try to Migrate at Del Rio, Texas

15,000 Haitians waited at an encampment under a bridge as they tried to migrate to the US at the Texas border town of Del Rio beginning last week. The state of Texas took action last Saturday to deploy Department of Public Safety and National Guard officers to secure the border in Del Rio. About 1,000 state troopers and National Guardsmen were deployed to the area. Migrants said they had traveled to the U.S. fleeing natural disasters in Haiti and a lack of job opportunities in South and Central America. The US Border Patrol has been accused of “cruelty” toward Haitian immigrants crossing into Texas, as an activist claimed its agents used “whips” against them, but they were using reins to control their horses. Democrats are accusing the border officers of cruelty and racism. Thousands of illegal alien Haitian “family units” under the Del Rio International Bridge are being releasing into the US with a simple notice to return for further questioning. The notices are often ignored. The Biden administration is sending expulsion flights to Haiti this week. An estimated 4,400 migrants are still waiting under the bridge and over 2,000 migrants are on the other side of the Mexican border. Border officials have apprehended over 1.5-million migrants in fiscal year 2021, compared to 500,000 last year when Trump was in office. GEG

In response to the migrant crisis in Del Rio, Texas, the Biden administration has begun a large-scale deportation effort to fly Haitians, who crossed the U.S.-Mexico border, back to their home country.

In what the Associated Press is calling “one of America’s swiftest, large-scale expulsions of migrants or refugees in decades,” Haitian migrants are being given $100 and free COVID-19 test upon their return to Haiti, according to Marie-Lourde Jean-Charles of the Office of National Migration. More than 320 migrants were taken back to Port-au-Prince in three separate flights Sunday and Haiti said six more flights were expected Tuesday, the AP reported.

An estimated 12,600 migrants are camped under a bridge in Del Rio, where authorities have described the situation as “out of control.” The Biden administration will begin sending seven expulsion flights to Haiti daily beginning Wednesday, with four going to Port-au-Prince and three to Cap-Haitien. The flights will depart from San Antonio, but administration officials are also considering sending flights from El Paso, an official told the AP.

Border Patrol Chief Raul L. Ortiz reported Sunday that 3,300 migrants had been removed from the Del Rio camp to planes or detention centers. Another 3,000 migrants were expected to be moved within a day, with Ortiz predicting that rest would be removed from the area within a week.

“We are working around the clock to expeditiously move migrants out of the heat, elements and from underneath this bridge to our processing facilities in order to quickly process and remove individuals from the United States consistent with our laws and our policies,” Ortiz said during a press conference at the Del Rio bridge.

The migrants are being expelled under a pandemic-related order enacted by President Donald Trump in March 2020 that allows for removal without an opportunity to seek asylum in the U.S. Under President Joe Biden’s administration, the order is still in effect for all migrants except unaccompanied minors.

ICE Agents Ordered to Release All Detainees, Including More than 10,000 Convicted and Suspected Criminals

On Joe Biden’s first day in office, the US Department of Homeland Security issued a sweeping directive calling for a 100-day pause in deportations. As a result, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents are being given orders to empty their detention centers and let everyone go free.

Former presidential advisor Steven Miller says that, last year, 180,000 migrants were deported and that 92% of them were either charged or convicted of a crime. ICE will no longer pick up criminals in police or sheriff’s custody, thus leaving 12,000 foreign criminals to be released into communities across America. According to the memo, ICE also is forbidden to deport foreign workers and students who overstay their temporary visas. A federal judge in Texas has blocked the Biden administration’s order for two weeks because, not to enforce existing law would violate federal statutes and the Constitution. -GEG

Excerpt from Breitbart:

“Release them all, immediately,” the ICE official wrote to staff in the memo. Typically, if detainees do not have sponsors in the United States, agents can hold an individual in their custody. The memo, though, states that is no longer the case and that even detainees without sponsors must be released.

It is unclear if ICE is currently carrying out the mass release of all 14,195 detainees in its custody, 71.45 percent of whom are convicted criminals or have pending criminal charges. These detainees are currently held in approximately 138 facilities across the United States.

Bend, Oregon: Federal Agents Dispersed Protesters Blocking ICE Buses for Hours

Bend, Oregon: On Wednesday, hundreds of people gathered in support of two men detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). The group blocked the movement of two buses for nearly 12 hours until Border Patrol agents moved in and using pepper spray to disperse them. A spokeswoman from ICE reported that the two men supported by the demonstrators have extensive criminal records. They also are repeat immigration violators. The men were being transported to a detention center, most likely in Tacoma, Washington. -GEG

A federal judge on Thursday denied an immigration rights law group’s request for a temporary restraining order to prevent Immigration and Customs Enforcement from transporting two detainees at the center of a large protest out of the state — because they already were.

The Innovation Law Lab said the judge denied the emergency motion request after an hour-long hearing.

“We are disappointed that before the hearing, ICE transported our clients out of the jurisdiction,” said Nadia Dahab, senior staff attorney with Innovation Law Lab.

“Although the court denied the TRO, the community was heard. Our clients cannot be deported and we will be able to make contact with them,” Dahab said.

The judge continued the hearing to Sept. 3 at 10 a.m. for additional arguments on the legality of the immigration agency’s actions, the organization added.

Bend attorney Erin Carter told NewsChannel 21 the federal judge rejected the request in the lawsuit for a restraining order because ICE agents already had taken the two men, Josue and Mark, out of state, likely to a Tacoma, Wash., detention center, making the request “basically moot.”

Earlier Thursday, hundreds of people gathered at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott parking lot in southwest Bend to show support for the two men detained by ICE on two unmarked buses that were blocked by protesters for nearly 12 hours Wednesday, until Border Patrol agents moved in and took them into custody, using pepper spray and, according to some protesters, less-lethal “rubber bullets.”.

A number of Central Oregon immigration leaders spoke at the parking lot news conference, including Hilda Leon with the Latino Community Association, who told NewsChannel 21, she and her partners will do whatever they can to help the two men.

“They are not my close friends, but they are members of our community,” Leon said. “We are going to stand up for them. We are going to be their voice any time and any place.”

The attorneys for both men, Carter and Micaela Guthrie, said ICE detained them without showing a warrant. But according to Section 287 of the federal Immigration and Nationality Act, ICE does not need a judicial warrant to arrest undocumented people.

Carter and Guthrie, of Bend Immigration Group, are currently working with Innovation Law Lab in Portland on the legal actions.

“Their legal right is to have representation by an attorney in immigration court,” Carter said. “That is something they were denied all day yesterday.”

A spokeswoman for ICE provided NewsChannel 21 with the following statement:

“The two individuals arrested by ice have criminal records that include convictions for assault, harassment, coercion, and criminal trespassing. they are also repeat immigration violators who were previously encountered by U.S. immigration officials and granted voluntary return to their home countries.”

‘New Way Forward Act’ Is Designed to Open US Borders to All Immigrants, Including Criminals

The New Way Forward Act is legislation designed to make a new country out of the US using immigration as the means. The laws says: “convictions should not lead to deportations, meaning that criminals could settle in the US with no danger of being sent back. The bill says criminalizing illegal entry into the US is “white supremacist”. Illegal aliens would become a protected class while Americans would be required to sustain them financially. Aliens who already have been deported for crimes would be brought back into the country at taxpayer expense. Forty-four House Democrats are sponsoring this bill. [This will make the hair stand up on the back of your neck. If you are in a rush, start at the 4:25 mark.] -GEG

At this moment there is a bill pending in Congress called the New Way Forward Act. It’s received almost no publicity, which is unfortunate as well as revealing.

The legislation is sponsored by 44 House Democrats, including Reps. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York. At roughly 4,400 words, it’s almost exactly as long as the U.S. Constitution.

Like the Constitution, this legislation is designed to create a whole new country. The bill would entirely remake our immigration system, with the explicit purpose of ensuring that criminals are able to move here, and settle here permanently, with impunity.

TUCKER CARLSON: TRUMP’S ACQUITTAL WAS AS PREDICTABLE AS ‘TITANIC’ – MAYBE NOW WE CAN HAVE OUR COUNTRY BACK

You may think we’re exaggerating for effect. We’re not – not even a little.

The New Way Forward act is the most radical single piece of legislation we’ve seen proposed in this country. It makes the Green New Deal look like the status quo.

A document produced by Democrats to promote the bill says: “Convictions … should not lead to deportation.”

Keep in mind, we’re not talking about convictions for double parking. The bill targets felony convictions – serious crimes that send you to prison for years. A press release from Rep., Jesus Garcia, D-Ill., is explicit about this.

Garcia brags that the bill will break the “prison to deportation pipeline.” How does the bill do that? Under current U.S. law, legal U.S. immigrants can be deported if they commit an “aggravated felony” or a “crime of moral turpitude” – that is, a vile, depraved act, like molesting a child. Under the New Way Forward Act, “crimes of moral turpitude” are eliminated entirely as a justification for deportation. And the category of “aggravated felony” gets circumscribed too.

What does that mean?

Consider this: Under current law, immigrants who commit serious crimes – such as robbery, fraud, or child sexual abuse – must be deported, regardless of the sentence they receive. Other crimes – less severe ones like racketeering – require deportation as long as the perpetrator receives at least a one-year sentence.

But if this bill passes the House and Senate and is signed into law by the president, there will no longer be any crimes that automatically require deportation. None.

And one crime – falsifying a passport – will be made immune from deportation, no matter what. Because apparently 9/11 never happened, and we no longer care about fake government documents.

If you just renewed your driver’s license to comply with the Real ID Act, you must feel like an idiot. Under the proposed legislation, the minimum prison sentence for crimes that still require deportation would rise from one year to five.

We checked the Bureau of Justice Statistics. According to federal data, crimes like car theft, fraud, and weapons offenses all carry average prison sentences of fewer than five years. And that’s just looking at averages. There are people who commit rape, child abuse and even manslaughter and receive sentences of fewer than five years. Lots of them.

If the New Way Forward Act becomes law, immigrants who commit those crimes and receive those sentences would remain in the country. They’ll all be eligible for citizenship one day, too.

But even that is understating the law’s effect. Even a five-year prison sentence won’t necessarily be enough to secure deportation. The bill would grant sweeping new powers to immigration judges, allowing them to nullify a deportation order.

The only requirement is that “the immigration judge finds such an exercise of discretion appropriate in pursuit of humanitarian purposes, to assure family unity, or when it is otherwise in the public interest.” In other words, anti-American immigration judges – and many of them are exactly that – would have a blank check to open the borders. No vote required.

Sound shocking to you? We’re just getting started. Current U.S. law makes drug addiction grounds for deportation, because why wouldn’t it? This bill would eliminate that statute.

Current law also states that those who have committed drug crimes abroad, or any “crimes involving moral turpitude,” are ineligible to immigrate here. The New Way Forward Act abolishes that statute.

A Mexican drug cartel leader could be released from prison, then freely come to America immediately. And if he wants, he could come here illegally, and it wouldn’t be a crime – because, and you were waiting for this, the bill also decriminalizes illegal entry into America, even by those previously deported.

According to a document promoting the bill, criminalizing illegal entry into America is “white supremacist.”

By this point, you’re beginning to wonder if we’re making this up. We’re not. In fact, we’re barely halfway through the bill.

The legislation doesn’t just make it harder to deport legal immigrants who commit crimes. It doesn’t just make it easier for criminals to legally move here. The bill would also effectively abolish all existing enforcement against illegal immigration.

To detain illegal immigrants, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) would have to prove in court that the illegal immigrants are dangerous or a flight risk. But of course, ICE wouldn’t be allowed to use a detainee’s prior criminal behavior as proof he or she is dangerous. That’s banned.

ICE would have to overcome even more hurdles if the detainee claims to be gay or transgender, under 21, or can’t speak English and an interpreter isn’t immediately available.

In other words, it would be much harder to arrest an illegal alien than it is to arrest you. They’re the protected class here. You’re just some loser who’s paying for it all.

But believe it or not, we saved the nuttiest part for last. What could be more destructive than changing U.S. law, specifically to allow rapists, child molesters, and drug dealers to stay in America? How about this: Using taxpayer money to bring deported criminals back into America.

That’s right. This bill would not only abolish your right to control who lives in your own country, but it invents a new right in return: the “right to come home.”

The bill orders the government to create a “pathway for those previously deported to apply to return to their homes and families in the United States,” as long as they would have been eligible to stay under the new law.

The Department of Homeland Security must spend taxpayer dollars transporting convicted criminal illegal aliens into the United States. Who will be eligible for these free flights? Tens of thousands of people kicked out of this country for all kinds of crimes. Sexual abuse. Robbery. Assault. Drug trafficking, weapons trafficking, human trafficking.

From 2002 to 2018, 480,000 people were deported for illegal entry or reentry into America. And under this bill, you’d have to buy them all a plane ticket to come back. The tickets alone would cost about a billion dollars, and that’s before Democrats make you start paying for these criminals’ free health care, too. Which they plan to.

Missouri: Illegal Alien Arrested on 16 Sexual Abuse Charges, Including Statutory Rape of Two Minors

Missouri: Following a hotline call, Sedalia Police arrested Alejandro Alcala-Ayala, 33, at his work location after he escaped through a window of a home while authorities questioned two children. He was charged with 16 crimes that included statutory rape, statutory sodomy, child molestation, endangering the welfare of a child, and abuse of a child resulting in serious emotional injury. He is an illegal alien who had been incarcerated for seven years on a federal drug charge and was deported in 2014 after he was released from federal custody. He had been using a false identity. The police notified ICE and a detainer was placed on him.

A Sedalia man has been arrested on multiple charges of statutory rape, statutory sodomy, and child molestation involving two children.

According to court documents, the Children’s Division received a hotline call Monday regarding a sexual assault involving an adult and a juvenile. A Sedalia police officer and Children’s Division workers went to a residence where Alejandro Alcala-Avala, 33, answered the door. Alcala-Avala later left the residence through a bedroom window while the officer and workers were speaking with the juveniles there.

In cursory interviews, the juveniles said Alcala-Avala had raped them both multiple times. One said it happened “all the time” and the other said it happened two to three times a month. They also said Alcala-Avala touched them without their clothes on. One juvenile said Alcala-Avala kept asking them to leave with him once they got older.

Alcala-Avala was later located and arrested at his place of work and was found to have a large amount of cash on his person. After being given his Miranda rights, he requested an attorney and was taken to the Pettis County Jail.

Italy: Pro-Migrant Groups Facing 15,000 Job Losses After Budget Cuts By Interior Minister Matteo Salvini

Italian Interior Minister Matteo Salvini implemented budget cuts under his Security decree that will lead to the termination of an estimated 15,000 pro-immigration group and reception center workers. Left-wing groups complained just months ago that Salvini’s Security decree would lead to a decrease in their profits. Mafia organized crime groups also received money from the Italian state to to run asylum reception centers, and pocketed large amounts of cash while giving migrants substandard food and shelter.

Following a series of budgetary cuts as part of populist Italian
Interior Minister Matteo Salvini’s security and migration decree,
migrant helper associations claim they have been forced to lay off
thousands of employees.

The Italian General Confederation of Labour (CGIL) union announced
the complaint, saying that so far pro-migrant groups have been forced to
lay off around 5,000 workers due to the funding cuts in the security
decree and added that the social centres were looking at a total of
15,000 layoffs by the end of the year, Italian newspaper Il Giornale reports.

CGIL’s Stefano Sabato commented on the effect of the migration
funding cuts saying, “At the moment we have come to count about 5000
redundancy procedures, to which we are responding with the tools
available, solidarity agreements, fund for wage integration, but our
interest is to be able to restore ordinary social safety nets to cope
with the dramatic situation that in this way we risk not being able to
manage.”

“If the Security decree is not reformed or amended within 12 months, we will still have to launch mass dismissal procedures,” he added.

The announcement of mass layoffs in the pro-migrant reception sector
come only months after the left-wing groups complained that their profits were going to decline as a result of the security decree.

Trump Administration Paralyzed by Immigration Crisis But Effective Action Is Possible

Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen was unable to explain Trump’s plan to stop the flood of migrants at the border. She said the crisis includes drug smuggling as evidenced by the fact that, last year, Border Patrol and ICE seized enough fentanyl to kill every American four times.
.
In contrast to this paralysis, Kris Kobach, Secretary of State of Kansas, laid a out plan to immediately stop the deluge of people at the border: (1) Publish the government’s regulations defining how entire families can be housed together; (2) Create processing towns at major points along the border containing the hundreds of currently empty government trailers to serve as temporary housing for immigrants, and create a team of immigration judges who can immediately deport migrants on a fleet of planes; and (3) prevent illegal aliens from wiring money to Mexico, which currently amounts to more than $20-billion per year. This, alone, says Kobach, would cause Mexico to cease being a channel for illegal immigration, which means Mexico would be motivated to prevent migrants from passing through on the way to the US border – or lose $20 billion annually for its economy.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5R6CeRwX-Wc

Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen’s interview with Tucker Carlson on Tuesday was as cringe as it gets.

Tucker’s first question was, “What is the executive branch doing now to fix this [border crisis]?”

Nielsen responded, “Well, uh, you probably don’t have enough time for me to tell you all the things…” then proceeded to ramble about nonsense.

Tucker kept asking her if she would implement specific policies such as e-verify or ending birthright citizenship and she just kept responding saying “everything is on the table.”

“Everything is on the table” — but she won’t actually do anything. Instead, we get non-stop buck passing as she expands H-2Bs.

Though Nielsen’s performance was a disaster, Tucker Carlson was on fire and absolutely hilarious.

We may be getting the exact opposite of what we voted for but at least the greatest host on Fox News is pointing out what a ridiculous farce this whole situation is.

Kris Kobach, who Trump should have made DHS head, explained how this crisis could be solved yesterday.

There were reports on Tuesday that Trump might appoint Kobach or Ken Cuccinelli as an “immigration czar,” but what is he supposed to do with Nielsen actively working against us at DHS?

California Sanctuary Law Got Illegal Alien Out of Jail, and He Killed 3 People!

As a direct result of California’s sanctuary law, Gustavo Garcia, a violent criminal with past deportations, was set free from jail. He shot and killed two people before speeding down a highway, driving in the wrong direction, and finally being killed in a police chase. -GEG

Summary by JW Williams

Authorities believe 36-year-old Gustavo Garcia is responsible for several shootings, two murders, a carjacking, multiple high-speed chases, speeding in the wrong direction on a highway, causing several accidents, and a shooting incident in Tulare County. Garcia died during a police chase.

SB 54, California’s sanctuary state law, is to blame for the deaths. SB 54 applies to illegal aliens who are in jail after committing a crime. It protects criminals by preventing police from notifying ICE if an illegal alien is going to be released from jail unless the illegal has committed a major felony. However, major felonies have been reclassified down to misdemeanor offenses under three California laws, Prop 47, Prop 57 and AB 109. In essence, California has de-criminalized crime.

Most illegal aliens who commit crimes are charged with only misdemeanors and do not qualify for notifying ICE. They are released back onto the streets instead of being deported. Alex Villanueva, the new Los Angeles County Sheriff, said that he is going to remove ICE from the county jails, meaning that ICE will close down its permanent offices in the jails.

Two days before Gustavo Garcia’s “reign of terror”, he was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance. He was held for only ten hours before being released. Within 48 hours, he went on a rampage. Garcia’s criminal record dates back to 2002, including charges for illegal possession of firearms and meth in addition to deportations in 2004 and 2014.

The Salvini Decree Becomes Law and Italy Moves Closer to Deporting 500,000 Illegal Aliens

Matteo Salvini, Italy’s Interior Minister, has become the most popular politician in the country by keeping his campaign promise and reducing immigration.  Parliament passed legislation to grant asylum only to those fleeing war or who are persecuted.  Migrants who received asylum for humanitarian purposes are likely to be deported when their documents expire.  Salvini also refused to sign the suicidal UN global migration pact.  The popularity of Salvini’s right-wing party, the League, has risen in the polls and nearly doubled in support.

Reuters:

The Italian government passed a law that clamps down on asylum rights and boosts funds for police, handing Interior Minister and right-wing League party leader Matteo Salvini his first major legislative win.

The lower house of parliament voted 396 to 99 late on Wednesday to pass the law championed by Salvini, who took office in June in a coalition with the anti-establishment 5-Star Movement.

The new law eliminates humanitarian grounds for granting protection to refugees — asylum that is not tied to political persecution or war. It also funnels millions of euros to law enforcement and anti-mafia administrators.

“I’m willing to host women and children who are escaping from war … But all the others, no,” Salvini said on Thursday, referring to the new legislation. “I don’t want to be seen as an idiot.”

Italy will still award asylum to war refugees or victims of political persecution. But it will no longer hand out “humanitarian” asylum, which was given to those who had “serious reasons” to flee their home country – a category that has often included homosexuals fleeing harsh anti-gay laws in Africa.

More than 20,000 people, or 25 percent of those who sought asylum, got “humanitarian” protection last year, and the tens of thousands of others received it in previous years will now likely lose their legal status when their documents expire.

The League’s lawmakers celebrated the passage of the law on Thursday by unfurling a banner outside the lower house of parliament that read: “The Salvini decree is law; the good times (for migrants) are over.”

UK: Passengers on a Plane Prevented Somali Man Who Is a Convicted Gang Rapist from Being Deported

A flight from Heathrow Airport in London to Turkey was stopped by passengers to prevent the deportation of Yaqub Ahmed, 29, a Somali native who had served four years in a UK prison after being convicted of gang raping a 16-year old girl in 2007.  The unwitting passengers who were not aware of Ahmed’s rape crime, chanted “take him off the plane” and one traveler complained, “They’re separating him from his family”.  Ahmed is now believed to be in an immigration detention center while officials try to place him on another flight out of the UK.

  • The deportation of Yaqub Ahmed was dramatically halted by plane passengers
  • The man, 29, was being returned to Somalia after being involved in a gang-rape
  • Passengers complained he was being separated from his family in the UK

A Somalian whose deportation from Britain was dramatically halted after airline passengers staged a mutiny demanding his release can be exposed today as a convicted gang rapist who was being kicked out of the country because of his sickening crime.

Officials escorting Yaqub Ahmed on a flight from Heathrow to Turkey were forced to abandon his deportation when around a dozen holidaymakers who felt sorry for him angrily intervened shortly before take-off.

At one stage during the astonishing episode, filmed on mobile phones, one traveller complained: ‘They’re separating him from his family’, while others chanted ‘take him off the plane’.

When harassed security guards caved in and walked 29-year-old Ahmed off the Turkish Airlines flight, he was seen thanking those on board for their support as they cheered and applauded.

One person was heard declaring: ‘You’re free, man!’

Yaqub Ahmed, 29, is one of a gang of rapists who brutally assaulted a young girl. The 16-year-old victim was gang-raped in a flat in New Orleans Walk in Crouch End on August 10

Passengers helped Ahmed get kicked off the plane as he resisted being deported by the Home Office after serving a prison sentence for gang rape

But the passengers who thought they were doing a good deed were unaware that the man they were defending had been sentenced to nine years in jail for his part in a vicious gang rape of a teenage girl – and that another member of his gang later fought for Islamic State in Syria.

Today The Mail on Sunday can reveal how Ahmed and three other youths preyed on a 16-year-old stranger after she became separated from her friends during a night out in London’s Leicester Square, in August 2007.

In a planned attack, they lured her back to a flat in Crouch End, North London, by pretending her friends were waiting for her there – then gang-raped her.

The gang, aged between 18 and 20, were caught when neighbours heard the girl’s cries for help and rang police.

All four men denied rape, despite DNA evidence. They were found guilty at Wood Green Crown Court and each jailed for nine years. Police detective Emma Bird said at the time: ‘The sentences given out by the judge reflect the seriousness of this offence.’
