Activists Draped “God Bless Abortions” Banner on Christ of the Ozarks Statue

Arkansas: Pro-abortion activists, disguising themselves as a construction crew, hung a banner reading “God Bless Abortions” across the iconic 65-foot tall Christ of the Ozarks monument. They claim to be responding to legislation in Arkansas making it harder for women to obtain abortions. Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson signed a bill that prohibits abortion in all cases except to save the mother’s life in a medical emergency. The ACLU and Planned Parenthood have asked a federal judge to strike down the new law, which takes effect July 28. The group has created other offensive far-left ‘art’ in attention-grabbing stunts that includes vandalizing a pro-life billboard in Mississippi by switching out the message that read, “WORRIED? Jesus offers security,” to “WORRIED? Planned Parenthood offers abortions.” They also were behind the stunt of placing nude statues of Trump in four major cities. -GEG

Residents in Arkansas woke up Friday to the famous Christ of the Ozarks statue draped with a massive banner that read “God Bless Abortions.”

Indecline, an activist group that took responsibility for hanging the banner, wrote on Instagram they are not ”pro-choice or anti-life,” but sent the message as a way of saying “abortion is a… miracle worth saving.”

The 65-foot statue is located in Eureka Springs on Magnetic Mountain. It’s one of five known giant statues of Christ in the world, according to the Encyclopedia of Arkansas. The statue can been seen from 20 miles away.

“In Arkansas, there is only one 65-foot statue of Jesus. There is also only one abortion clinic,” Indecline wrote. “No professional sports teams. Just a bunch of angry men with no outlets, writing outrageous laws about vaginas. That, and the second highest rate (by state) of infant mortality. It’s hard to see how ‘pro-life’ can be so myopic in its vision of what life is.”

Canadian Pastor is in Prison for Holding Church Services During Lockdown

Alberta, Canada: The wife of Canadian pastor James Coates confirms that her husband has been held in jail since February 16, initially for defying government orders not to hold services, and then for rejecting the bail requirement that he not attempt to do so again. His wife says ‘This really should be shocking to people”. She agreed with Tucker Carlson that Christians have been singled out. -GEG

The wife of Canadian pastor James Coates, who was jailed for holding church services amid COVID lockdowns, spoke out passionately about her husband’s ordeal, saying it “really should be shocking to people” that a Christian pastor is behind bars.

“Well, I think there’s been a war, like a boiling frog for a while, I think our freedoms have just been slowly stripped from us and, so slowly over time that we didn’t even realize it, and so when something like health order is put in place, that takes away your freedoms, it’s not shocking to people. And it really should be shocking to people that there is a pastor in jail right now who’s given his life to sacrifice and love other people to worship God,” Erin Coates told Fox News host Tucker Carlson on his show Thursday.

“That’s not shocking to a lot of people — and it really should be. We are on a dangerous road right now. And I think because we’ve just been in the pot for so long boiling that people aren’t really realizing the danger that we’re facing as a nation.”

Erin told Carlson that her husband’s imprisonment has shown her Canada now is not the same country she was raised in. “This is definitely not the nation that I grew up in,” she said.

Carlson asked Erin if she thinks her husband was “singled out” because he is a Christian pastor, noting that in the United States there have been many instances of “Christian ministers harassed because they are Christian ministers.”

Revenge of the Gods: California Educational System Plans to Destroy Christianity in Favor of Aztec Gods that Called for Cannibalism

Marxists in California are trying to influence six-million students in primary and secondary schools by teaching them they are oppressed by American culture, which is characterized as genocidal, Eurocentric, white supremacist, racist, capitalist (classist), and patriarchal. The idea is to make the kids want to destroy or overthrow the system. The ultimate goal is to “decolonize” American society and establish a new regime of “countergenocide” to displace white Christian culture. They want to restore indigenous culture and beliefs including the Aztec religious system. The curriculum would require students to chant to the Aztec ‘gods’ of human sacrifice and cannibalism. -GEG

Next week, the California Department of Education will vote on a new statewide ethnic studies curriculum that advocates for the “decolonization” of American society and elevates Aztec religious symbolism—all in the service of a left-wing political ideology.

The new program, called the Ethnic Studies Model Curriculum, seeks to extend the Left’s cultural dominance of California’s public university system, 50 years in the making, to the state’s entire primary and secondary education system, which consists of 10,000 public schools serving a total of 6 million students.

In theoretical terms, the new ethnic studies curriculum is based on the “pedagogy of the oppressed,” developed by Marxist theoretician Paolo Freire, who argued that students must be educated about their oppression in order to attain “critical consciousness” and, consequently, develop the capacity to overthrow their oppressors. Following this dialectic, the model curriculum instructs teachers to help students “challenge racist, bigoted, discriminatory, imperialist/colonial beliefs” and critique “white supremacy, racism and other forms of power and oppression.” This approach, in turn, enables teachers to inspire their pupils to participate in “social movements that struggle for social justice” and “build new possibilities for a post-racist, post-systemic racism society.”

R. Tolteka Cuauhtin, the original co-chair of the Ethnic Studies Model Curriculum, developed much of the material regarding early American history. In his book Rethinking Ethnic Studies, which is cited throughout the curriculum, Cuauhtin argues that the United States was founded on a “Eurocentric, white supremacist (racist, anti-Black, anti-Indigenous), capitalist (classist), patriarchal (sexist and misogynistic), heteropatriarchal (homophobic), and anthropocentric paradigm brought from Europe.” The document claims that whites began “grabbing the land,” “hatching hierarchies,” and “developing for Europe/whiteness,” which created “excess wealth” that “became the basis for the capitalist economy.” Whites established a “hegemony” that continues to the present day, in which minorities are subjected to “socialization, domestication, and ‘zombification.’”

The religious narrative is even more disturbing. Cuauhtin developed a related “mandala” claiming that white Christians committed “theocide” against indigenous tribes, killing their gods and replacing them with Christianity. White settlers thus established a regime of “coloniality, dehumanization, and genocide,” characterized by the “explicit erasure and replacement of holistic Indigeneity and humanity.” The solution, according to Cuauhtin and the ethnic studies curriculum, is to “name, speak to, resist, and transform the hegemonic Eurocentric neocolonial condition” in a posture of “transformational resistance.” The ultimate goal is to “decolonize” American society and establish a new regime of “countergenocide” and “counterhegemony,” which will displace white Christian culture and lead to the “regeneration of indigenous epistemic and cultural futurity.”

This religious concept is fleshed out in the model curriculum’s official “ethnic studies community chant.” The curriculum recommends that teachers lead their students in a series of indigenous songs, chants, and affirmations, including the “In Lak Ech Affirmation,” which appeals directly to the Aztec gods. Students first clap and chant to the god Tezkatlipoka—whom the Aztecs traditionally worshipped with human sacrifice and cannibalism—asking him for the power to be “warriors” for “social justice.” Next, the students chant to the gods Quetzalcoatl, Huitzilopochtli, and Xipe Totek, seeking “healing epistemologies” and “a revolutionary spirit.” Huitzilopochtli, in particular, is the Aztec deity of war and inspired hundreds of thousands of human sacrifices during Aztec rule. Finally, the chant comes to a climax with a request for “liberation, transformation, [and] decolonization,” after which students shout “Panche beh! Panche beh!” in pursuit of ultimate “critical consciousness.”

California Pastor Sues County After Being Fined $220K for Holding Services

Pastor Mike McClure of San Jose’s Calvary Chapel, along with more than 3,000 other churches California churches with a total membership of more than 2 million people, defied California Governor Newsom’s shutdown orders on May 31, 2020 by holding church services. McClure’s church has racked up some $220,000 in fines from Santa Clara County for violating the governor’s mandates against indoor meetings. McClure is suing the county to contest the fines and to also challenge officials’ right to require the churches to maintain lists of attendees at their services and turn them over to the government whenever demanded.

When Pastor Mike McClure of San Jose’s Calvary Chapel agreed to open his church on Pentecost Sunday (May 31), he joined with more than 3,000 other churches defying California Governor Gavin Newsom’s shutdown orders. He said, “We’re called to be together. Man doesn’t have the right to close the doors. God doesn’t want us to isolate ourselves. All of us need to be in the sanctuary.”

And then he added a warning to Newsom: “I don’t care what they say. I’m never again going to close the doors, ever.”

McClure’s church first opened in 2001 and enjoys a thriving membership of more than 1,000 people. His church is one of nearly 2,000 similar evangelical congregations in an association that grew out of the Jesus Movement in Southern California in the 1960s. His church also has racked up some $220,000 in fines for violating the governor’s mandates against indoor meetings.

It’s one of more than 3,000 churches in California, with a total membership in excess of two million people, that agreed to reopen on Pentecost Sunday. The leaders chose that particular day because it celebrated the beginning of the Christian church when 3,000 converts were added in a single day, according to the Book of Acts in the New Testament. The reopening on the anniversary of Pentecost made it fitting for a “rebirth” of the church after being shut down by orders from Newsom.

Mark Brown, another California pastor, said at the time that Newsom “needs to step back and he needs to declare that the church is an essential part of what we do as Americans, as what we do as Californians.”

Instead, municipalities have stepped up attacks on a few of the larger churches, perhaps hoping to intimidate them into compliance so that the other smaller congregations will go along.

Kanye West Announces Run for Presidency, Questions Vaccines, and Condemns Planned Parenthood

Kanye West, a Christian rapper, told Forbes Magazine that he is going to run for President with guidance from Elon Musk. He says he would model his White House based on the fictional country Wakanda from the movie Black Panther. He denies that is a publicity stunt to sell his new album, because he plans to give it away free, perhaps as a campaign item. West railed against a COVID-19 vaccine saying he believes it is the mark of the beast, a symbol of opposition to God noted in the Book of Revelation. He condemned Planned Parenthood and believes it is the tool of white supremacists to do the “Devil’s work.” -GEG

Kanye West’s Fourth of July declaration, via Tweet, that he was running for president lit the internet on fire, even as pundits were trying to discern how serious he was. Over the course of four rambling hours of interviews on Tuesday, the billionaire rapper turned sneaker mogul revealed:

  • That he’s running for president in 2020 under a new banner—the Birthday Party—with guidance from Elon Musk and an obscure vice presidential candidate he’s already chosen. “Like anything I’ve ever done in my life,” says West, “I’m doing to win.”
  • That he no longer supports President Trump. “I am taking the red hat off, with this interview.”
  • That he’s okay with siphoning off Black votes from the Democratic nominee, thus helping Trump. “I’m not denying it, I just told you. To say that the Black vote is Democratic is a form of racism and white supremacy.”
  • That he’s never voted in his life.
  • That he was sick with Covid-19 in February.
  • That he’s suspicious of a coronavirus vaccine, terming vaccines “the mark of the beast.”
  • That he believes “Planned Parenthoods have been placed inside cities by white supremacists to do the Devil’s work.”
  • That he envisions a White House organizational model based on the secret country of Wakanda in Black Panther.

260 Million Christians Experience ‘High Levels of Persecution’

Open Doors published its World Watch List 2020 and reported that, every day, eight Christians are killed for their faith and 23 Christians are raped or sexually harassed. Every week, there are attacks against 182 Christian churches or buildings, and 102 Christian homes, shops or businesses are destroyed. The most acute persecution occurs in North Korea, but Afghanistan is close behind. North Korea’s persecution is driven by a virulent atheistic Communist ideology which views Christians as traitors of the state because their allegiance is to God, instead of Kim Jong Un. Currently, some 50,000 to 75,000 Christians live inside North Korea’s massive prison system where starvation and physical and mental abuse are part of their sentence. Other countries that have a high rate of persecuting Christians include Somalia, Libya, Pakistan, Eritrea, Sudan, Yemen, Iran, and India. -GEG

Christian persecution around the globe reached an unprecedented level at the end of 2019, with over 260 million Christians facing “high levels of persecution,” Open Doors revealed Wednesday.

In its World Watch List 2020, Open Doors notes that one in 8 believers around the world suffers serious levels of persecution, while providing an in-depth look at the 50 countries where it is most dangerous to be a Christian.

In a nutshell, the new report reveals, every day, eight Christians are killed because of their faith and 23 Christians are raped or sexually harassed; every week, 182 Christian churches or buildings are attacked and 102 Christian homes, shops or businesses are attacked, burned, or destroyed; every month, 309 Christians are imprisoned unjustly.

The most acute persecution of Christians occurs in North Korea, the report found, but Afghanistan is close behind in the number two slot.

In the case of North Korea, persecution is driven by a virulent atheistic Communist ideology which views the estimated 200,000 to 400,000 Christians as traitors of the state because their allegiance is to God, not supreme leader Kim Jong Un. Moreover, they also form part of the lowest “hostile class” in the country’s social stratification system called Songbun.

Toulouse, France: Far-Left Activists Storm Children’s Nativity Play and Force It to Shut Down

A group of around 50 far-left activists stormed a nativity play that featured live animals and children playing the characters of Jesus, Mary, Joseph and the shepherds. The leftists screamed at the children, “stop the fascists!” and other insults. The young children became frightened and the live nativity play was shut down a full two hours ahead of schedule and only an hour after it had begun. Christianity is under attack across the globe. In France, churches are targeted for aggression an average of three times per day.

A group of around 50 far-left activists stormed a nativity play involving children in Toulouse, shouting at the children and telling them they were “fascists”.

The mob of leftist extremists interrupted the nativity play at around 4 pm at the Place Saint-Georges and yelled, “stop the fascists!” along with “we are the anticapitalists!” and a torrent of insults towards the young children and the organisers, La Depeche reports.

As the young children became frightened, the nativity play was shut down a full two hours ahead of schedule and only an hour after it had begun.

“It was worse in the early days of Christians,” one witness to the protest said. They added: “All those who cry do not know that Jesus was not bourgeois, but poor, destitute. I feel sorry for them.”

Archbishop of Toulouse Robert Le Gall slammed the leftists in a press release stating: “I deplore that the simple reminder of the birth of Jesus and the values it conveys (welcoming the stranger, announcing peace, and a sign of tenderness that we all need) is no longer respected in our country and even arouses acts of verbal and physical violence by those who set themselves up as defenders of freedom.”

Mayor of Toulouse Jean-Luc Moudenc also condemned the leftist demonstrators, labelling their behaviour as “irresponsible”.

University of Colorado: Christian Student Group Wins Lawsuit Allowing Them to Choose Their Own Club Leaders

Ratio Christi, a Christian group that aims to strengthen Christianity and discourse on campus, won their lawsuit against the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs (UCCS), forcing the school to recognize the group as an official student organization. The original legal complaint against the university claimed that administrators told students that they could not require their group leader to be a Christian who shares their mission, violating students’ rights to free association.

The University of Colorado, Colorado Springs (UCCS) has settled a
lawsuit with a Christian student group which forces the university to
recognize the group as an official student organization.

Breitbart News reported
in February that a Christian student group at UCCS had filed a lawsuit
against their university over its refusal to recognize them as an
official student organization. This week, UCCS settled with the Ratio
Christi student group.

The original legal complaint against the university claimed that
administrators told students that they could not require their group
leader to be a Christian. “It has refused to do so specifically because
this religious organization seeks to ensure that its leaders share its
beliefs and that its members support its mission, even though other
student organizations do the same,” the complaint read.

According to a report
from The College Fix, Ratio Christi settled with UCCS. As a result of
the settlement, the University of Colorado will be forced to recognize
the group as an official student organization. Additionally, the
students will now be permitted to choose their own leaders.

Chinese Government Offers a $1,500 Bounty to Informants Who Identify Leaders of Christian House Churches

The Guangzhou Department of Ethnic and Religious Affairs is offering $1,500, equal to an average two-month’s income, to neighbors who turn in leaders of illegal house churches. Chinese President Xi Jinping, who is going after Muslims and Christians with great zeal, views religion as a threat from foreign countries to infiltrate and undermine the government’s power. [He is wrong about foreign powers but right in that religion does, in fact, undermine government power, because it allows people to turn to spiritual leaders and to each other for guidance and help. Totalitarian governments cannot allow that to happen.] -GEG

Kansas University Offers Course on ‘Angry White Males’

The University of Kansas is offering a humanities course titled ‘Angry White Male Studies’ that explores “the deeper sources of this emotional state while evaluating recent manifestations of male anger” in Europe and America from 1950 to present. This article lists additional examples of classes, papers, and comments that demonize and scapegoat white males. Universities in the US have become Marxist indoctrination camps that allow white, Christian, and conservative students to be abused by fellow students and professors.-GEG

The University of Kansas (KU) is the latest college to villainize
white males, this time in a course entitled “Angry White Male Studies”
for which students can actually earn college credits.

Campus Reform reports
that the course will be held during the fall 2019 semester and will
explore “deeper sources of this emotional state while evaluating recent
manifestations of male anger” in Europe and America from 1950 to the

The classes will also talk about the dominant and subordinate masculinity roles, according to KCTV 5 News.

The poster for the course features a photo of Edward Norton from American History X, a film focused on a white male who goes to prison after killing two young black males.

The class will be taught by Christopher E. Forth, the Dean’s Professor of Humanities and Professor of History at KU.

Students on campus were reportedly in a state of disbelief over the course offering.

“Everyone’s just reposting it [on social media] and asking if it’s a
joke or not, it’s just been all over the Snapchat stories, so it’s been
like big news today,” Emily Hiegert, who is a KU student, told KCTV 5.

Unfortunately, the villainization of white males on college campuses
is nothing new, though it seems to have taken on a more aggressive and
radical tone in recent years.

In 2017, feminist professor Carrie Mott and a colleague, Daniel
Cockayne, discouraged students and scholars from citing white males in
their research, claiming it perpetuates what they’ve dubbed “white

In their 22-page paper entitled “Citation matters: mobilizing the
politics of citation toward a practice of ‘conscientious engagement,’”
Mott, a professor at Rutgers University in New Jersey, and Cockayne, a
professor at the University of Waterloo in Ontario, argued that
researchers are disproportionately citing established white men in their
research and that other groups are therefore underrepresented. They
claimed that the continual practice of citing white researchers will
serve to perpetuate a “system of oppression” that benefits only “white,
male, able-bodied, economically privileged, heterosexual, and
cisgendered” individuals.

Earlier that year, the student union at the prestigious School of
Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) in London articulated similar
concerns, and argued that the study of philosophy should include only
philosophers from Africa and Asia and should exclude white philosophers
such as Descartes and Kant.

Also in 2017, a University of Hawaii math professor suggested that
all white men should either quit their jobs or accept a demotion to
clear the way for the advancement of minority workers. Professor Piper
Harron went so far as to claim that anyone who disagreed with his
viewpoint was racist, sexist, and transphobic. “If you are a white cis
man [meaning one who identifies as male and was assigned male at birth]
you almost certainly should resign from your position of power,” Harron
insisted. “Statistically speaking, you are probably taking up room that
should go to someone else.”

When Georgetown University professor Carol Christine Fair advocated
for the castration and murder of white Republican men on social media,
the college issued a statement in support of the left-wing professor.

Christian Ministry Sues SPLC for Hate Map Listing

D. James Kennedy Ministries (DJKM) is suing the Southern Poverty Law Center for listing DJKM in its infamous ‘hate map’.  The lawsuit includes Amazon and Guidestar, who dropped DJKM from their services because of the listing. –GEG

A Christian TV ministry announced Wednesday that it is suing the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) for labeling it a hate group, like the Ku Klux Klan.

Dr. Frank Wright, president of D. James Kennedy Ministries (DJKM), said he was suing the SPLC for listing DJKM in the infamous “hate map,” according to Christian Today. The SPLC’s hate map lists DLKM, as well as several other Christian and conservative advocacy groups, alongside the KKK and neo-Nazis. Kennedy claimed that the SPLC “illegally trafficked in false and misleading descriptions” of DJKM.(RELATED: 5 Groups Included On ‘Hate Group’ List Published By CNN Are Not Hate Groups)

“We embarked today on a journey to right a terrible wrong,” Kennedy said in the announcement of the lawsuit. “Those who knowingly label Christian ministries as ‘hate’ groups, solely for subscribing to the historic Christian faith, are either woefully uninformed or willfully deceitful. In the case of the Southern Poverty Law Center, our lawsuit alleges the latter.”

A domestic terrorist actually used the hate map in 2012 as the inspiration for an attack against the Family Research Council. The FBI ceased using the group’s list as a legitimate source after the attack.

“These false and illegal characterizations have a chilling effect on the free exercise of religion and on religious free speech for all people of faith,” Kennedy said. “After having given the SPLC an opportunity to retract, we have undertaken this legal action, seeking a trial by a jury of our peers, to preserve our own rights under the law and to defend the religious free speech rights of all Americans.”

Kennedy said the lawsuit included Amazon and Guidestar, who allegedly dropped DJKM from their services, which included the AmazonSmile Foundation’s charitable list, because of the ministry’s listing on the hate map. Kennedy claimed that DJKM’s removal from Amazon’s charitable list limited the methods by which the ministry could receive donations.

Senator Bernie Sanders Says That Those Who Believe Christianity Is The Only Road to Salvation Are Unfit for Public Office

Senator Bernie Sanders grilled a Trump nominee, Russell Vought, over his belief that Muslims have a deficient theology and are condemned because they do not accept Christ. Sanders said the statement was Islamophobic and that Vought should not hold office.  The issue here is not Vought’s belief about salvation. It is about his right to express it. We do not feel it is either proper or productive to publicly criticize any religion unless it threatens human life, liberty, or property. However, freedom-of-speech means nothing unless it means that people have a right say what they wish, even if it is offensive to some. Muslims also believe that theirs is the only path to salvation, but we doubt that Bernie would respond in similar disgust if a Muslim candidate for office had said the same about Christians. –GEG

US Senator, Bernie Sanders, expressed disgust for the Christian doctrine expressed by Budget Director nominee Russell Vought.

Sanders was questioning Vought over a post he published that defended Christianity as the one true faith and only path to salvation.

Muslim groups protested Vought’s remarks — despite the fact that they believe the exact same thing only that Islam is the one true faith.

Sanders became agitated and started screaming at Vought over his Christian faith.
It’s very difficult for millions of Democrats today to defend Christianity.
