Neocon ‘Vulture Capitalist’ Paul Singer Reported to be Buying Up Twitter Stock to Oust CEO Jack Dorsey

‘Vulture Capitalist’ Paul Singer reportedly is buying up shares of Twitter stock in order to oust CEO Jack Dorsey. While Dorsey does censor conservative Twitter users, Singer could be worse. Singer funded the Steele dossier that set off Mueller’s Russia investigation, he pressured the GOP to accept the LGBT agenda, and he is driving the transfer of America’s tech companies to Israel. -GEG

Vulture Capitalist Paul Singer, a major pro-Israel donor who pushed the GOP to embrace the LGBT agenda and funded the notorious Steele dossier, is reportedly buying up shares of Twitter stock in order to oust CEO Jack Dorsey.

From Bloomberg, “Singer’s Elliott Seeks to Replace Twitter CEO Dorsey”:

Activist investor Elliott Management Corp. has taken a sizable stake in Twitter Inc. and plans to push for changes at the social media company, including replacing Chief Executive Officer Jack Dorsey, according to people familiar with the matter.

The New York-based firm has nominated four directors to Twitter’s board, said the people, who asked to not be identified because the matter isn’t public.

There are only three seats becoming available at this year’s annual meeting but Elliott wanted to ensure that it nominated enough directors to fill all three seats or any other vacancies that may arise, the people said. The exact size of Elliott’s stake couldn’t be determined.

Elliott approached San Francisco-based Twitter about its concerns privately and has had constructive discussions with it since then, the people said.

Former Mayor of Baltimore Sentenced To 3 Years in Prison, Ordered to Pay $670K In Restitution

Former Baltimore Mayor Catherine Pugh, a Democrat, was sentenced to three years in prison in connection with her children’s book scheme that funneled illegal money into her campaign and helped her evade taxes. Prosecutors accused Pugh of earning approximately $800,000 from her Healthy Holly book series, but thousands of books that nonprofits ordered to distribute in schools and day cares to promote healthy choices and combat obesity were never delivered to the city’s children. Authorities say she took books that were already purchased and resold them, and then funneled the proceeds into her own political campaign and used the cash to purchase and renovate a house in Baltimore. The judge ordered her to forfeit her house and $17,800 in campaign funds.

Updated at 2:30 p.m. ET

Former Baltimore Mayor Catherine Pugh was sentenced to three years in federal prison Thursday.

It was just months ago that she pleaded guilty to federal fraud, tax and conspiracy charges over a scheme involving sales of her self-published Healthy Holly children’s books.

Prosecutors had been seeking a five-year prison sentence for the 69-year-old Democrat who has spent decades in Maryland politics. Pugh’s lawyers, in turn, had asked the judge for a more lenient prison sentence of one year and one day, noting that she is a first-time offender and she entered a guilty plea.

In the end, neither side got its desired outcome, as reporter Emily Sullivan of member station WYPR tweeted.

Once Pugh completes her prison sentence, she will serve three years of supervised release.

Pugh was “visibly stressed” Thursday when she walked into the courtroom, according to The Associated Press, which adds that she teared up at seeing a number of her friends in the courtroom.

U.S. District Judge Deborah Chasanow also ordered Pugh to forfeit approximately $670,000, which includes a home on Ashburton, Md., and nearly $18,000 in her campaign account.

Additionally, the court ordered restitution payments of $400,000 to the University of Maryland Medical System, where the former mayor once served as a board member. The medical system — one of the state’s largest employers and one of Pugh’s biggest customers — had agreed to enter a no-bid deal to purchase 100,000 copies of the books. The existence of the deal was first reported by The Baltimore Sun in March.

She’ll also have to pay back some $12,000 to the Maryland Automobile Insurance Fund, which purchased books.

Pugh pleaded guilty in November to conspiracy to commit wire fraud, conspiracy to defraud the government and two counts of tax evasion.

Ahead of Thursday’s sentencing, her lawyers submitted a 13-minute video to the judge in which she apologizes and says the nearly yearlong legal saga created a “ringing negativity” in the city of Baltimore.

“First, I want to apologize to the citizens, to young people, to partners, to my friends, everyone I’ve offended, everyone I’ve hurt and the city’s image by pleading guilty and by being involved in all of this that has led me here today,” Pugh says in the video, according to the Sun.

“I accept responsibility. I accept total responsibility. I’ve plead guilty. I’m sorry,” she says.

Pugh resigned as mayor in May 2019 as allegations of “self-dealing” in connection with the sale of thousands of copies of her Healthy Holly children’s books engulfed her administration.

Prior to her resignation, federal investigators were looking into the book sales, many of which went to entities she had influence over or businesses that hoped to do business with the city and the state.

Prosecutors had accused Pugh of earning approximately $800,000 from the Healthy Holly book series, about an African American girl who promotes exercise and nutritious eating habits.

“But the problem was thousands of books that nonprofits and foundations ordered to distribute in schools and day cares to promote healthy choices and combat obesity were never delivered to the city’s children,” as NPR reported in November.

“Instead, authorities say she took books that were already purchased and resold them. Pugh then funneled those proceeds into her own political campaigns and used the cash to purchase and renovate a house in Baltimore.”

In early April, Pugh took an “indefinite leave of absence” as mayor, citing health challenges as the reason. By then, the book scandal had already jeopardized her term in office.

Plunging Stocks, Pandemic Fears, Quarantines — What’s the Real Operation?

Investigative journalist Jon Rappoport makes a case for a planned phony ‘epidemic’ used to lockdown and control populations. He explained that there are many levels of players that benefit, including drug manufacturers who get to sell profitable drugs and vaccines, national militaries that can occupy big cities, Wall Street brokers that short stocks, and wealthy investors and bankers that can buy out struggling businesses, further consolidating ownership and wealth.

Rappoport questions whether researchers ever really discovered the coronavirus, as he says diagnostic tests are worthless, the numbers can be inflated without evidence, and environmental factors in China (deadly air pollution, 5G technology rollout) can explain why people there are falling ill.

A grisly old PR pro waddles into a conference room where elite technocrats are waiting for his assessment of propaganda issues. He sits down, looks around, and says, “If you’re going to launch a phony epidemic, the ideal place for it is mainland China. The government will lock down that country quicker than a missile fired from a drone. And then nobody will be able to figure out what’s going on. Which is exactly what you want. You can say there are a million epidemic cases, you can say thousands of people are dropping dead on the street, you can say it’s a bioweapon or a bat virus, you can especially say the government there is reacting beautifully, and we should all look to the Chinese example of how to run things. Because that’s how you want things to be run everywhere, right? China is perfect for a phony epidemic. How are people going to figure out it’s a fake behind the lockdown? Whereas, say, in a place like Brazil, there are still a few freedoms and a little leeway, and people can ask questions…”

Things are changing quickly. By the time this is published, the situation may have changed.

Right now, world trading markets are taking a major hit. Governments are blowing the dust off their old pandemic plans and feeding details to click-hungry press outlets. “We may have to use stadiums for mass quarantines of suspected epidemic cases…” “We have to cancel large events.” Apparently, China has a hundred million people in some form of lockdown.

There is no doubt that this insanity can continue, regardless of the facts: who cares whether researchers ever really discovered the COV virus; who cares that diagnostic tests are worthless for defining a case of COV; who cares that case numbers can be inflated without evidence; who cares that environmental factors in China (deadly air pollution, 5G technology rollout) can explain why people there are falling ill.

Public health officials and governments know they can SAY anything they want to, thereby exacerbating the fear and the lies. And on that basis, they can declare emergencies and quarantines and lockdowns and the closure of businesses and the cessation of trade. They can bring police or troops to an area to “secure order.”

And the craziest part of all this is, huge numbers of people will automatically believe that such extreme measures somehow prove THE VIRUS is dangerous. The effect proves the cause. This notion was rebuked and throttled by Aristotle in ancient Greece, but armies of zombie-like citizens still accept it.

The basic answer is: it has levels. Different players in different positions gain a piece of the pie. For example, pharma gets to sell immense amounts of highly toxic antiviral drugs, and gets to develop and sell an enormously profitable toxic vaccine. National militaries lick their chops and anticipate moving into big cities and maintaining order. The collection of entities I call the medical cartel gets to exert more influence over the minds of billions of people: “medical diagnosis and treatment, from birth to death, is absolutely essential for the survival of life on planet Earth.” That’s a BIG one. Understand: when the drugs and vaccines are toxic, the citizens are debilitated, and thus easier to manage.

Long-term, the medical cartel is the most powerful wing of the Brave New World, also known as Globalism. Also known as Technocracy.

Technocracy: With the rollout of 5G the so-called Internet of Things really takes off. Smart cars, smart homes, smart cities. A trillion devices are connected; and a result, a worldwide Energy Authority can truly take its place in the foreground. Meaning? The real-time monitoring of all energy production AND use on the planet can be measured—and energy-use quotas can be established for individuals and nations, “for the good of all.”

It’s called CONTROL.

China is making lemonade out of the lemons of the “coronavirus crisis,” as we speak. It’s moving ahead with the building of many smart cities. And the government has the power to move huge numbers of people into the cities, where wall-to-wall surveillance will be the order of the day, “in order to predict future epidemics before they happen.” The Internet of Things will allow all sorts of automatic quotas to be imposed on the citizenry. Food, energy, travel, etc. And then you have automated diagnosis of illness and mandatory treatment—another nightmare.

It’s called CONTROL.

Globalism/technocracy is flexing muscles and producing hits on national economies. It’s testing its ability to do damage in that area. It needs to level out economies in many countries, in order to take them over to a greater degree. Declared fake epidemics are a tool for that purpose.

In this regard, consider what happens in any serious economic downturn or recession. It’s what I would call Operation Close-Out, better known as Consolidation. Wealthy players, aided by banks, move in, sniff out major businesses and companies that are now on the edge of failure, and buy them out. The wealthy own more; the newly poor own less.

Somali Activist Receives Threats After Reporting on Ilhan Omar’s Alleged Marriage to Her Brother

Minnesota: Abdi Nur is a Somali American reporter who started reporting in 2016 on Congresswoman Ilhan Omar and was the source for articles about her alleged marriage to her brother for the purpose of committing immigration fraud so that her sibling could stay in the US. Mr. Nur posted on Facebook that he has received threats to his safety and threats to set him up to go to prison, in addition to harassment. He stated that if anything happens to him, Ilhan Omar and her team will be responsible.

Abdi Nur is a Somali American reporter in the Twin Cities. In 2016 Nur started reporting on Ilhan Omar and her controversial past. David Steinberg and Scott Johnson at Powerline both used Abdi as a source for their reports on Ilhan Omar.

Last week The Daily Mail reported on Ilhan Omar’s marriage to her brother. Abdi Nur was their source.

Now Abdi is receiving threats.

On Wednesday Abdi Nur posted his concerns for his safety on Facebook.

Nur is convinced if something happens to him it will lead back to Ilhan Omar.

Via Abdi Nur

My name is Abdihakin Osman Nur and I live in Minneapolis Minnesota . I am an American citizen. I am the person who spoke to the media and said that Ilhan Omar married her brother and made legal papers for him to stay in America , I confirmed that the marriage was fraudulent and that I was personally aware since I was a close friend and neighbor to both Ahmed Hirsi and Ilhan Omar .It is also an open secret in the Minnesota somali community but everyone is afraid of problems from supporters of Ilhan Omar some of whom have felony criminal records . This issues started in August of 2016 and the first media person whom I spoke to was Scott Johnson who writes for Power line blog .I shared his posts on my Facebook and I was met with vicious online harassment and threats including insulting me for being in a wheelchair and insults to my person as a disabled man . They caricatured me as wearing diapers . I finally decided to put them on all the things that they were doing in suppressing the information through intimidation and threats and so I told the writer of daily mail to put it on the record .

Since that day I have received veiled threats about my safety , insults online and threats of a set up in which to have me locked up . I have had fake complaints to try and shut my Facebook down . They have also told a media personality on YouTube to threaten me and she did so live on a YouTube video .

I would like to inform the public and the government of the USA . If anything were to happen to me and my safety that Ilhan Omar and her team will be responsible . I also ask for the support of the American people in case I’m set up or something happens to me because I have talked .

Thanks for your help and understanding.

Harvey Weinstein Found ‘Guilty’ on Charges of Criminal Sex Act Involving Assault and Third Degree Rape

Harvey Weinstein was found guilty on several charges including assaulting production assistant Mimi Haleyi and third-degree rape of a woman in 2013; he could be sentenced up to 25 years in prison. More than 90 women, including famous actresses, accused Weinstein of sexual misconduct, assault and rape. Weinstein was  arrested in May 2018 following a series of articles by Ronan Farrow. In addition to his sexual crimes, Weinstein hired Kroll and Black Cube, an Israeli spy agency staffed by former Mossad agents, and allegedly tried to silence and intimidate his accusers and journalists from exposing his misdeeds. The Weinstein Co. went bankrupt. A tentative settlement awarding $25 million to Weinstein’s alleged victims has been reached to resolve nearly all lawsuits stemming from the scandal. However, Weinstein would not have to admit any wrongdoing or personally pay anything as the studio’s insurance companies would cover the cost.

Following the verdict, Weinstein was taken to Bellevue Hospital, complaining of chest pains.

Weinstein will be sentenced in New York on March 11, and then he will face a new trial in Los Angeles for allegations of raping one woman and sexually assaulting another in separate incidents in February 2013.

Harvey Weinstein was convicted Monday at his sexual assault trial, sealing his dizzying fall from powerful Hollywood studio boss to archvillain of the #MeToo movement.

He was found guilty of criminal sex act for assaulting production assistant Mimi Haleyi at his apartment in 2006 and third-degree rape of a woman in 2013. The jury found him not guilty on the most serious charge, predatory sexual assault, that could have resulted in a life sentence.

The verdict followed weeks of often harrowing and excruciatingly graphic testimony from a string of accusers who told of rapes, forced oral sex, groping, masturbation, lewd propositions and that’s-Hollywood excuses from Weinstein about how the casting couch works.

The conviction was seen as a long-overdue reckoning for Weinstein after years of whispers about his behavior turned into a torrent of accusations in 2017 that destroyed his career and gave rise to #MeToo, the global movement to encourage women to come forward and hold powerful men accountable for their sexual misconduct.

The jury of seven men and five women took five days to find him guilty.

The case against the once-feared producer was essentially built on three allegations: that he raped an aspiring actress in a New York City hotel room in 2013, that he forcibly performed oral sex on Haleyi and that he raped and forcibly performed oral sex on “Sopranos” actress Annabella Sciorra in her apartment in the mid-1990s.

Three additional women who said they, too, were attacked by Weinstein also testified as part of an effort by prosecutors to show a pattern of brutish behavior on his part.

The Associated Press does not typically identify people who say they are victims of sex crimes unless they grant permission, as Haleyi and Sciorra did.

Jurors signaled their struggles with the Sciorra charges four days into deliberations. On Friday, after reviewing sections of her testimony and related evidence, they sent a note to the judge indicating they were deadlocked on the counts but had reached a unanimous verdict on the others. After some debate in the courtroom, the judge ordered jurors to keep deliberating.

While Weinstein did not testify, his lawyers contended that any sexual contact was consensual and that his accusers went to bed with him to advance their careers.

The defense seized on the fact that two of the women central to the case stayed in contact with Weinstein through warm and even flirty emails — and had sex with him — well after he supposedly attacked them.

The hard-charging and phenomenally successful movie executive helped bring to the screen such Oscar winners as “Good Will Hunting,” “Pulp Fiction,” “The King’s Speech” and “Shakespeare in Love” and nurtured the careers of celebrated filmmakers like Quentin Tarantino and Kevin Smith.

Weinstein now faces charges in Los Angeles. In that case, announced just as the New York trial was getting under way on Jan. 6, authorities allege Weinstein raped one woman and sexually assaulted another on back-to-back nights during Oscars week in 2013. One of those women testified as a supporting witness at the New York trial.

The trial was the first criminal case to arise from a barrage of allegations against Weinstein from more than 90 women, including actresses Gwyneth Paltrow, Salma Hayek and Uma Thurman. Most of those cases were too old to prosecute.

During the trial, Weinstein regularly trudged into the courthouse stooped and unshaven, using a walker after recently undergoing back surgery — a far cry from the way he was depicted in court as a burly, intimidating figure whose eyes seemed to turn black with menace when his anger flared.

Many of Weinstein’s accusers described him as a “Jekyll and Hyde” character who could be incredibly charming at first, making jokes and showing interest in using his immense power to help their careers.

But that was an act, they said, meant to gain their trust and get them to a place — often a hotel room or an apartment — where he could violate them.

Whistleblower Against Obama and the Muslim Brotherhood Dies of Gunshot to the Chest

Philip Haney, 66, a founding member of the Department of Homeland Security, known for blowing the whistle against the Obama administration for covertly helping the Muslim Brotherhood and ISIS, was found dead from a single gunshot to the chest on the roadside in Plymouth, California. Haney was ordered in 2009 by the Obama administration to purge DHS records of all information on Muslim Brotherhood terror networks and activities. Haney also spoke out against the Assembly of Muslim Juris of America, a group of lawyers implementing Sharia law in the US. The coroner says the wound appears to be self-inflicted. Haney’s friends say he was happy and planning a new book. -GEG

Philip Haney, a former Department of Homeland Security (DHS) official during the Obama administration who blew the whistle on shortcomings within his own agency, was found dead in California on Friday with a “gunshot wound” to the chest, several news outlets report, citing a statement from the law enforcement.

Although authorities have said the gunshot wound “appears” to be “self-inflicted,” stressing that the investigation is ongoing, 66-year-old Haney had been missing since February 19. and died from a gunshot wound to his chest two days later, Red State and Heavy reported.

Gunshot wounds to the chest are uncommon in the case of suicides, data reportedly show. Haney’s death has triggered a wave of claims suggesting he may have been a victim of foul play.

Echoing some of the whistleblower’s friends, a number of senior congressional officials have expressed alarm to Breitbart News about this, noting that they do no believe Haney was suicidal.

Law enforcement found Haney’s body 40 miles east of Sacramento, California.

While testifying as a whistleblower before the Senate Judiciary Committee in June 2016, Haney asserted that DHS ordered him to delete hundreds of files of people with links to Islamist terrorist groups. He argued that authorities could have prevented several terrorist attacks in the U.S. if DHS had not scrubbed specific data.

The Washington Examiner learned from the Amador County Sheriff’s office that “deputies and detectives responded to reports Friday morning at 10:12 a.m. of a male subject on the ground with a gunshot wound in the area of Highway 124 and Highway 16 in Plymouth, California.”

“Upon their arrival, they located and identified 66-year-old Philip Haney, who was deceased and appeared to have suffered a single, self-inflicted gunshot wound. A firearm was located next to Haney and his vehicle. This investigation is active and ongoing. No further details will be released at this time,” the sheriff’s office reportedly declared in a statement.

Rep. Steve King (R-IA) said Haney “didn’t kill himself” as claimed by law enforcement who ruled his death a suicide. Haney was in possession of an archive of information he considered an insurance policy in case he was ever found dead, King asserted.

“Phil Haney was a friend & patriot. He was a target because of all he knew of Islamic terrorist coverups,” King wrote Saturday on Twitter. “He insured his life by archiving data that incriminated the highest levels of the Obama administration. Phil Haney didn’t kill himself. RIP, Phil.”

Washington Post Claims Elites Should Run Elections; Quietly Edits Article After Public Outrage Ensues

The Washington Post is taking heat over an op-ed authored by Marquette University political science professor Julia Azari, titled “It’s time to give the elites a bigger say in choosing the president.” Instead of primaries in which caucuses are held to pick primary delegates, Azari suggests that the parties should use “preference primaries” which would “allow voters to rank their choices among candidates, as well as to register opinions about their issue priorities.” After outrage ensued, the Post changed the headline to the far less inflammatory “It’s time to switch to preference primaries.”

The Washington Post is taking heat over a Tuesday op-ed authored by Marquette University political science professor Julia Azari, titled “It’s time to give the elites a bigger say in choosing the president.”

Azari argues that the Democratic party’s primary process is overly-complicated and convoluted, and the process of choosing the nominee should instead be placed in the hands of politicians instead.

After outrage ensued, the Post changed the headline to the far less inflammatory “It’s time to switch to preference primaries.”

The article reads:

The current process is clearly flawed, but what would be better? … A better primary system would empower elites to bargain and make decisions, instructed by voters.

One lesson from the 2020 and 2016 election cycles is that a lot of candidates, many of whom are highly qualified and attract substantial followings, will inevitably enter the race. The system as it works now — with a long informal primary, lots of attention to early contests and sequential primary season that unfolds over several months — is great at testing candidates to see whether they have the skills to run for president. What it’s not great at is choosing among the many candidates who clear that bar, or bringing their different ideological factions together, or reconciling competing priorities. A process in which intermediate representatives — elected delegates who understand the priorities of their constituents — can bargain without being bound to specific candidates might actually produce nominees that better reflect what voters want.

Trump Commutes Prison Sentence of Former Governor of Illinois, Rod Blagojevich, and Pardons Bernie Kerik and Michael Milken

President Trump commuted the sentence of impeached former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich and pardoned former New York Police Commissioner Bernie Kerik and financier Michael Milken, among others.

Blagojevich was sentenced to 14 years in prison for trying to sell the US Senate seat vacated by former Senator Obama when he was elected president in 2008. In December 2008, Governor Blagojevich tried to save 200 workers’ jobs at a window-and-door factory that was in financial trouble, and he threatened the Bank of America with blocking future business with the state of Illinois unless the lender stepped up its assistance to the company. He criticized the bank for receiving $25-billion in taxpayer bailout money and said: “the purpose of that money was supposed to be to provide a line of credit to businesses like this, to keep workers working, and keep people employed.”

President Donald Trump commuted the jail sentence for former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich (D) on Tuesday, Trump confirmed to reporters.

“I watched his wife on television; I don’t know him very well,” Trump said, acknowledging that the former governor appeared on his show Celebrity Apprentice. “Seemed like a very nice person, don’t know him. … I did commute his sentence.”

Blagojevich was sentenced to 14 years in prison after he tried to sell the U.S. Senate seat vacated by former Sen. Barack Obama after he was elected president in 2008. To date, Blagojevich has served over seven years of his prison sentence.

Trump said that Blagojevich was prosecuted by “the same people, Comey, Fitzpatrick, the same group” that prosecuted him, and acknowledged that even though the governor was a Democrat, he deserved release from prison.

“Very far from his children, they’re growing older. They’re going to high school now. They rarely get to see their father outside of an orange uniform,” Trump said. “I saw that, and I did commute his sentence.”

The president has frequently discussed the idea of a pardon for Blagojevich, as he views the 14-year penalty as too harsh just for “being stupid” by discussing something that “many other politicians say.”

The Illinois state legislature impeached Blagojevich and removed him from office in 2009, which led him to appear on Celebrity Apprentice.

Jeff Bezos Announces $10-Billion “Bezos Earth Fund” to Fight Climate Change, But Keeps His Profit-Making Scheme a Secret

Jeff Bezos, founder of Amazon, announced on Instagram that “climate change is the biggest threat to our planet” and he is launching the Bezos Earth Fund and committing $10-billion to the cause. Bezos omitted to mention that the project requires central banks to match his $10-billion at a rate of roughly 100 of theirs to his 1 and commit trillions more in a way that forces investors to buy Environmental, Social, and Governance (known as ESG exchange-traded funds), which is a category of investment that involves a group of securities in which Amazon stock always is listed among the top five. It appears that his $10-billion ‘donation’ could be an excellent ‘investment’. –GEG

Just in case Greta Thunberg hadn’t whipped up enough of a frenzy among those who are convinced the world will end in 12 years if central banks don’t print several quadrillion dollars now and immediately fix the weather, while commercial banks are already salivating at the outsized profits generated by crowding their virtue signalling clients into all sorts of ESG portfolios (such as the ESG ETF whose top holdings are bizarrely Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, Google and Intel), moments ago the world’s richest man slammed shut any further debate whether climate change (and ESG) is the next social mania, when he announced (on the wokest of places, i.e., Instagram), that he is committing $10 billion to fight climate change.

This is what Bezos said:

Today, I’m thrilled to announce I am launching the Bezos Earth Fund.⁣⁣⁣

Climate change is the biggest threat to our planet. I want to work alongside others both to amplify known ways and to explore new ways of fighting the devastating impact of climate change on this planet we all share. This global initiative will fund scientists, activists, NGOs — any effort that offers a real possibility to help preserve and protect the natural world. We can save Earth. It’s going to take collective action from big companies, small companies, nation states, global organizations, and individuals. ⁣⁣⁣

I’m committing $10 billion to start and will begin issuing grants this summer. Earth is the one thing we all have in common — let’s protect it, together.⁣⁣⁣

– Jeff

What was left unsaid is that Bezos is moving forward with the implicit understanding that central banks will match his $10 billion check at a rate of roughly 100 to 1, and commit trillions more just so investors are forced to buy ESG ETFs… where Amazon stock (its army of internal combustion engine delivery trucks notwithstanding) always finds itself among the Top 5 holdings, and any further push by the establishment to force more “virtuous ” ESG buying will promptly recover Bezos’ paltry $10BN investment, as AMZN’s market cap promptly doubles to $2 trillion.

Or as Jeff, or frankly everyone else would say, you have to spend $10 billion to be the first to hit $1 trillion.

Incidentally, for all those who are only catching up on the latest social dogma that is climate change and ESG, here are a bunch of primers to get up to speed on all the religious fabulations you will need to make “informed” investment decisions for the next 5-10 years.

Judge Napolitano Says that Roger Stone Should receive New Trial in Light of Juror’s Anti-Trump Bias

Judge Andrew Napolitano says that former Trump adviser Roger Stone deserves a new trial in light of resurfaced tweets that show “inherent bias” against Stone from jury foreperson, Tomeka Hart. Hart, a Democrat activist, lawyer, and former Memphis City Schools Board President, posted about the Stone case before she voted to convict him. She retweeted and mocked an statement from those who considered Stone’s predawn arrest to be excessive force. She also implied that President Trump and his supporters are racist, and she praised the investigation conducted by Special Counsel Robert Mueller, which ultimately led to Stone’s prosecution. Napolitano says that built-in bias by a member of the jury is a trigger for the judge to grant a new trial. The judge in this case is Amy Berman Jackson, and Obama appointee. -GEG

Judge Andrew Napolitano said on Thursday that former Trump adviser Roger Stone deserves a new trial in light of resurfaced tweets that indicate partisanship and “inherent bias” from a jury member against Stone.

Former Memphis City Schools Board President Tomeka Hart revealed Wednesday that she was the foreperson of the jury that convicted Stone on obstruction charges last year — and soon afterward, her history of Democratic activism and a string of her anti-Trump, left-wing social media posts came to light.

“[Stone is] absolutely entitled to a new trial with a member of a jury making these types of revelations about the politics involved in the decisions to prosecute him,” Napolitano told “Fox & Friends.”

Hart even posted specifically about the Stone case before she voted to convict, as she retweeted an argument mocking those who considered Stone’s dramatic arrest in a predawn raid by a federal tactical team to be excessive force. She also suggested President Trump and his supporters are racist and praised the investigation conducted by Special Counsel Robert Mueller, which ultimately led to Stone’s prosecution.

Independent journalist Mike Cernovich, not CNN, then first reported that a slew of Hart’s other publicly available Twitter and Facebook posts readily suggested a strong political bias. Some of Hart’s posts were written as Stone’s trial was in progress.

Jussie Smollett Indicted By Special Prosecutor in Alleged Hate Hoax

Chicago: Special Prosecutor Dan Webb had indicted Jussie Smollett on six new counts of disorderly conduct and filing false police reports. This is related to the actor’s claim that he was a victim of a racist and homophobic attack by two white Trump supporters on January 29, 2019. Police say that two Nigerian brothers admitted that Smollett paid them $3,500 to stage the attack. The State’s Attorney’s Office announced on March 8, 2019, that Smollett had been indicted by a grand jury on 16 felony counts of disorderly conduct. However, prosecutors dropped all charges two weeks later. The city of Chicago has since sued Smollett for the cost of overtime that the police department incurred while investigating the hoax. The actor counter-sued for malicious prosecution. Smollett is due to appear in court on Webb’s charges on February 24. -GEG

Chicago, IL – Former “Empire” actor Jussie Smollett was indicted by a special prosecutor on Tuesday afternoon.

WFLD reported that Special Prosecutor Dan Webb had indicted Smollett on charges related to the alleged racist and homophobic attack that the actor reported to police on Jan. 29, 2019.

The indictment happened just one month after a Cook County judge ordered Google to turn over copious amount of information from the accounts Smollett and his manager and five months after the special prosecutor began his investigation.

Smollett told police on Jan. 29 that he had been attacked by two white supporters of President Donald Trump on his way home from a Subway restaurant.

He claimed the men called him homophobic and anti-black slurs and told him “This is MAGA country” as they beat him up and put a noose around his neck. He also said they threw a chemical on him.

Chicago Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson explained at a press conference the day of Smollett’s arrest that that police considered the actor a victim up until Ola and Abel Osundairo returned from Nigeria to Chicago and were taken into police custody, and then the investigation “spun in a totally different direction.”

“We gave him the benefit of the doubt up until that 47th hour. But when we discovered the actual motive, quite frankly, it pissed everybody off,” he explained.

He said the brothers told police that Smollett paid them $3,500 to stage the attack, with another $500 after they returned from a planned trip to Nigeria.

“We have the check that he used to pay them,” Superintendent Johnson said.

The Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office announced on March 8 that Smollett had been indicted by a grand jury on 16 felony counts of disorderly conduct.

But then on March 26, the State’s Attorney’s Office unceremoniously announced all charges against the “Empire” actor had been dropped.

The city of Chicago has since sued Smollett for the cost of the overtime the police department incurred while investigating the hoax and the actor has counter-sued for malicious prosecution.

But despite that legal wrangling over dollars and cents, Smollett is not yet in the clear on the criminal charges he initially faced.

Cook County Judge Michael Toomin in June of 2019 appointed a special counsel to investigate what actually happened after information about Smollett hiding evidence and the involvement of Michelle Obama’s former chief of staff, Tina Tchen, in the case.

Toomin said that Foxx was right to recuse herself from Smollett’s trial after she asked Commissioner Johnson to turn over the case to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) after talking to Tchen, but that she did not have the authority to appoint her second-in-command to the prosecution in her stead, the Chicago Tribune reported.

2020 Democrat Candidates Trash America as Racist to Win Black Votes

During the Democrat debate last Friday night, each 2020 candidate condemned “systemic racism” and characterized America as an evil place with rot in its very foundations. The candidates include Bernie Sanders, who said that America is a racist society from top to bottom, Pete Buttigieg, Elizabeth Warren, Joe Biden, Amy Klobuchar, Andrew Yang, and Tom Steyer. Elizabeth Warren declared that “we need race-conscious laws in education, in employment, in entrepreneurship to make this country a country for everyone,” which would change laws in order to give privilege to people of color. Tom Steyer promised he would authorize reparations payments. -GEG

The Democrats are lucky the February debate in New Hampshire took place on a Friday night, when relatively few were watching — because if they wanted to deliver the message to the working-class white people who delivered the upper Midwest and the presidency to Donald Trump in 2016 that they should stick with him rather than voting blue in November, they did a brilliant job of it.

Tom Steyer, the billionaire who’s trying to buy a win Bloomberg-style in the South Carolina Democratic primary, issued a stark warning at the beginning of the Democratic debate Friday night in New Hampshire: Trump has the economic numbers that can help him get reelected, and Democrats are going to need to have a strong message to overwhelm it.

About an hour into the debate, they found their message: America, Bernie Sanders said, is “a racist society from top to bottom.”

One by one, the candidates echoed the message that “systemic racism” characterizes America.

“We can’t legislate away racism,” said Andrew Yang, because racism runs so deep in the American soul.

Joe Biden, verbatim (poor Joe): “The fact is that we in fact there is systemic racism.”

Elizabeth Warren even declared that “we need race-conscious laws in education, in employment, in entrepreneurship to make this country a country for everyone.”

By which she means the law should actually be written to privilege people of color.
