Turkey has announced it will restrict exports to Israel following protests. Turkey declared: “This decision will remain in place until Israel, under its obligations emanating from international law, urgently declares a ceasefire in Gaza and allows the unhindered flow of sufficient humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip.”

Ecuadorian authorities took the extraordinary step of breaking into Mexico’s embassy to arrest Ecuador’s former Vice President Jorge Glas, who was seeking asylum in Mexico. Mr. Glas has been convicted of bribery and corruption, Ecuador says Glas was targeted for crime, and is not a political prisoner.
