Epps was charged two and a half years after the protest at the Capitol with a Class A misdemeanor for disorderly conduct on restricted grounds; he pleaded guilty. The maximum sentence for the charge Epps faces is one year in prison, one year of supervised release and a fine. He will be sentenced on December 20, 2023.
Republican Congressman Barry Loudermilk is heading a House investigation on the January 6 Committee. He revealed footage of an undercover Metropolitan police officer helping people climb up scaffolding to reach the upper west terrace to enter the Capitol. I am still trying to understand exactly what Ray Epps role in this matter is? However, I believe Mr. Epps to be connected to a fraternal organization connected to at least one 3 letter agency.
