Woman Returns Home from China and  Spills the Beans on the Lockdowns

Youtube
A woman who taught English in China for over a year left the country and described what it was like to be in lockdown, with strict orders to stay inside homes despite lack of food. She said that people are frequently tested for COVID, and if they test positive, they are taken to quarantine camps. She described China’s social credit system and said that if an individual defies certain rules, they may be denied the ability to use trains, or buy food, and may even be taken to a concentration camp.

My initial reaction was that the unfortunate people living under this system are slaves. However, it’s even worse that that. At least a slave owner has a vested interest in protecting his investment so that it can continue to be productive for him. Not letting the people have food is worse than slavery. I don’t even know what word to use to describe it… Something akin to totalitarian-death-torture?

Why is she wearing a wig, hat and glasses, make her suspicious to me… who knows, I don’t believe her. If what shes saying is fact even her “work” couldn’t get her out with no id, passport, etc.
These people need to be vetted before you let them speak to the masses .

It is surprising that someone who is married would be teaching there a year and a half and he seemed a bit chubby for having been starved awhile. Otherwise, she seemed very believable. Why does the video beep out things?
