Seattle Study: Heart Damage Detected Months After COVID-19 Vaccination
Study of 16 cases of patients younger than 18 who went to the hospital with chest pain showed elevated serum troponin levels, markers of heart inflammation, after a second dose of Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine. Exams showed that 11 of the minors had persistent late gadolinium enhancement, a heart abnormality.
