Organized Assassins Claiming to be DEA Agents Murdered Haitian President

Haitian President Jovenel Moise, 53, was shot dead by unidentified attackers in his private residence after midnight on Wednesday morning, according to the government. Interim Prime Minister Claude Joseph said, “A group of unidentified individuals, some of them speaking Spanish, attacked the private residence of the president of the republic and thus fatally wounded the head of state.” Many fear that turmoil will escalate as food shortages and fuel shortages are looming for the impoverished nation where 60% of the population makes less than $2 a day. A wave of gang violence in Port-au-Prince has pitted armed groups against the police for control of the streets, turning many districts of the capital into no-go zones. More than 14,700 people have been displaced. A large swath of the civilian population had been calling for President Moise’s removal from office before the end of his term as he ruled by decree for the past year and was accused of being authoritarian.

UPDATE:   Haiti requested help to stabilize the country and secure critical infrastructure, including oil reserves, in the wake of the assassination of its president earlier this week. The US says it will not be sending troops into the Caribbean country. ABC  also reported that Haiti is one of only a handful of countries in the world that has yet to distribute a single dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Reports claim that President Moise was tortured by mercenaries.

UPDATE:  Authorities declared a “state of siege” and closed the airport. Police reported that 15 Colombians and the two Americans of Haitian origin who had resided in Florida were arrested. Three Colombians have been killed while eight others on the loose. American James Solages told investigators he had become involved after “finding the job on the internet” but had believed he was to work as an interpreter for the mostly foreign group, according to reports from Haitian media.

Update (1609ET): Haitian President Jovenel Moise was assassinated in an attack in the early hours of Wednesday at his private residence. Many are wondering how assassins penetrated the security perimeter of his heavily fortified home.

Perhaps new insight from The Miami Herald shows “assailants claimed to be agents with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, according to videos taken by people in the area of the president’s home.”

The Herald continued:

On the videos, someone with an American accent is heard yelling in English over a megaphone, “DEA operation. Everybody stand down. DEA operation. Everybody back up, stand down.”

However, sources told the newspaper that the assailants, one of whom spoke English, were not with DEA but rather imposters.

“These were mercenaries,” a high-ranking Haitian government official said.

Here’s the video:

Haitian President Jovenel Moise was shot dead by unidentified attackers in his private residence overnight in a “barbaric act” shortly after midnight on Wednesday morning the government said, stirring fears of escalating turmoil in the impoverished Caribbean nation.

Trump Joins Rumble, Rumble Changes Terms of Service to Ban ‘Hateful’ Speech

Twitter suspended President Trump after he showed support for the Capitol protesters in early January. Andrew Torba, the CEO of Gab, a competitor to Twitter, revealed earlier this month that Donald Trump never joined Gab because Jared Kushner “specifically had problems with people [on the site] criticizing Jewish people, and Zionism, and policies related to Israel.” Torba said that he refused to compromise Gab’s free speech policies, which was a deal-breaker for Trump’s handlers. The day Trump joined Rumble, the video hosting platform changed their terms of service to ban posts that are “anti-semitic” and “hateful.” There is no mention of who will decide when something fits this category. -GEG

Gab CEO Andrew Torba revealed earlier this month that Donald Trump never joined Gab because Jared Kushner “specifically had problems with people [on the site] criticizing Jewish people, and Zionism, and policies related to Israel.”

“I mean, that’s specifically what I was told, is ‘You have to do something about these people.'” Torba said during an interview with TruNews. “He called them Jew haters, I call them Jew criticizers.”

Torba said his refusal to “sell out” and “compromise on Gab’s free speech policies” was a deal-breaker for Kushner and Trump’s handlers which kept him from joining the site.

“Some of these people believe that anyone who criticizes or even has remotely any sort of criticism towards Jewish people or towards Israel or towards international policy, is all of a sudden an anti-Semite right, which is totally absurd on its face,” Torba continued.

“We’re a content-neutral platform. It’s a free speech platform,” Torba said. “So as long as you’re not saying anything illegal, as long as you’re not making threats of violence, you’re allowed to speak your mind and have an opinion about things.”

On Saturday, the day Trump joined Rumble, the video hosting platform changed their terms of service to ban posts that are “anti-semitic” and “hateful.”

Torba highlighted the policy change in a post on Gab:

It looks like Torba wasn’t exaggerating!

Biden Launches Campaign to Go ‘Door-to-Door’ to Compel Americans to Get the Jab

The Biden administration is organizing a door-to-door campaign to encourage unvaccinated Americans to take the jab, indicating that the government is keeping tabs on who has taken the ‘optional’ vaccine. Biden hoped to have a vaccination rate of 70% by the Fourth of July; reports claim that 67% of adults have taken at least one shot. Only 48% of young adults ages 18-24 have received at least one shot. The Biden administration is partnering with about 42,000 local pharmacies and primary care physicians’ offices and will also press the vaccines at pediatricians’ offices for children 12 to 15 before they return to school in the fall.

UPDATE:   Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra responded to criticism of Biden’s campaign by saying that the federal government has spent trillions of dollars to try to keep Americans alive during this pandemic, so “It is absolutely the government’s business, it is taxpayers’ business, if we have to continue to spend money to try to keep people from contracting COVID and helping reopen the economy.”

The Biden administration is organizing a door-to-door campaign to encourage unvaccinated Americans to take the jab, after failing to achieve their 4th of July vaccination targets.

While laying out the Biden administration’s plan to boost vaccines, White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki said they would focus on “targeted community door-to-door outreach to get remaining Americans vaccinated by ensuring they get the information they need on how both safe and accessible the vaccine is.

So, they’ve got a list?

1,500 Businesses Infected by Latest Ransomware Cyber Attacks

As many as 1,500 businesses around the world have been infected by highly destructive malware that first struck software maker Kaseya, and then used that access to attack Kaseya’s customers. REvil’s site on the dark web claimed that more than 1 million targets were infected in the attack and that the group was demanding $70 million for a universal decryptor. The mass attack had cascading effects around the world; for instance, Swedish supermarket chain Coop shut about half of its 800 stores because electronic checkouts stopped working. The hackers demanded the ransom in Bitcoin, which has been used by authorities to to call for an end to private cryptocurrencies.

As many as 1,500 businesses around the world have been infected by highly destructive malware that first struck software maker Kaseya. In one of the worst ransom attacks ever, the malware, in turn, used that access to fell Kaseya’s customers.

The attack struck on Friday afternoon in the lead-up to the three-day Independence Day holiday weekend in the US. Hackers affiliated with REvil, one of ransomware’s most cutthroat gangs, exploited a zero-day vulnerability in the Kaseya VSA remote management service, which the company says is used by 35,000 customers. The REvil affiliates then used their control of Kaseya’s infrastructure to push a malicious software update to customers, who are primarily small-to-midsize businesses.

In a statement posted on Monday, Kaseya said that roughly 50 of its customers were compromised. From there, the company said, 800 to 1,500 businesses that are managed by Kaseya’s customers were infected. REvil’s site on the dark web claimed that more than 1 million targets were infected in the attack and that the group was demanding $70 million for a universal decryptor.

Democrat ‘Infrastructure’ Package to Eliminate Single-Family Neighborhoods

A new set of laws inside the the Infrastructure Package aims to destroy suburbs via a measure that would put the federal government in charge of local zoning laws that would allow multi-family and apartment units to be built in single-family zoned areas. This would change local demographics and impact the already purple voting districts. Democrats recently used ‘reconciliation’ to side-step Republicans in the Senate and passed the $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan Act coronavirus relief package with a simple majority vote and without Republican support. They are threatening to do the same with this infrastructure bill. Collectivists are pushing for a wish list that could top $6-trillion and includes universal child care, lowering of Medicare eligibility age, a permanent extension of the child tax credit. They proposed to pay for roughly $3-trillion of its proposal, mostly through tax increases on the wealthiest Americans – knowing full well that the VERY wealth will have loopholes to avoid it altogether. -GEG

Democrats plan to federalize local zoning laws within the infrastructure reconciliation package to displace single-family homes with high-rise, low-income apartments to impact the already purple suburbs.

The reconciliation package plans to implement the destruction of the suburbs via a measure within the package called the “HOMES Act,” which attempts put the federal government in charge of local zoning laws to change local demographics, impacting the already purple voting districts.

According to the measure within the transportation package, any local government that does not comply with the federal zoning guidelines, meaning “ordinances that ban apartment buildings from certain residential areas or set a minimum lot size for a single family home,” the Department of House and Urban Development (HUD) will cut off funding to that city – funding any city needs to maintain their current low-income housing.

Additional consequences for cities keeping their local zoning laws in place would be to punish states by prohibiting them from “receiving taxpayer funded transportation grants of any kind if they refuse to allow high-rise apartments throughout their high density zoning in their suburbs.”
