Texas: US District Judge Lynn Hughes tossed out a lawsuit brought by 117 Houston Methodist hospital employees who sought to block the hospital system’s requirement that all employees receive COVID-19 vaccinations or face suspension or termination. Judge Hughes wrote that the plaintiff’s assertion that COVID-19 shots are “experimental and dangerous” was false and otherwise irrelevant. He ruled that making employment conditional upon vaccination status does not constitute coercion and that the employees may be properly fired for refusing the company directive. The attorney for the employees said that he will appeal the ruling.

A Texas judge tossed out a lawsuit brought by 117 Houston Methodist hospital employees who sought to block the hospital system’s requirement that all employees receive COVID-19 vaccinations or face suspension and/or termination.

US District Judge Lynn Hughes of Houston wrote in a scathing Saturday ruling that lead plaintiff Jennifer Bridges’ assertion that the vaccines are “experimental and dangerous” was false and otherwise irrelevant, according to AP (via Chron). He added that the plaintiff’s likening of the vaccination requirement to forced medical experimentation by the Nazis on concentration camp captives was “reprehensible.”

In addition, Hughes ruled that making employment conditional upon vaccination status does not constitute coercion, as Bridges’ complaint alleges.

“Bridges says that she is being forced to be injected with the vaccine or be fired. This is not coercion. Methodist is trying to do their business of saving lives without giving them the COVID-19 virus,” reads the ruling. “Bridges can freely choose to accept or refuse a COVID-19 vaccine; however, if she refuses, she will simply need to work somewhere else. If a worker refuses an assignment, changed office, earlier start time, or other directive, he may be properly fired. Every employment includes limits on the worker’s behavior in exchange for remuneration. That is all part of the bargain,” the Reagan appointee continued.

Federal Appeals Court Finds CDC Eviction Moratorium Unlawful

July 27, 2021 MSN 2

A federal appeals court ruled that the CDC exceeded its authority by temporarily halting evictions amid the pandemic. The moratorium is set to expire at the end of July. Landlords argue that the moratorium amounts to unlawful government overreach that costs property owners $13 billion each month.

It is in fact unlawful to mandate a medical procedure that was brought to the public under E.U.A. It is experimental by definition.

it is actually quite cut and dry. the judge is violating federal law by allowing such policies of the employer.

Employers cannot mandate medical procedures.

It is all a violation of the Nuremberg Code as well.

What do you expect from a guy named Lynn. Ruling will be overturned. Hopefully none of those employees quit or take vaccine before it is overturned. If fired, they will win large wrongful dismissal suit.

The threat, demand, that someone, anyone, take the injection of an experimental drug or suffer the consequences is not coercion? What, then, IS coercion? At what point, with what demand, would this judge admit to coercion? Does this judge have access to a dictionary? The complete departure from reality is breath taking. This judge can deny reality, but he cannot escape the results of denying reality. This will catch up to him one day. And may that day be full restitution.

This is an outrageous abuse of power by the judge. What does she know about all the side effects, including deaths that vaccines cause? Has she looked at the approaching 6,000 deaths that have been reported to VAERS lately? What a knee-jerk response by someone who dogmatically believes in vaccines without looking into the risks. And yes, these shots are experimental. They use new genetic engineering biotechnology and were tested for only a few weeks without gold standard placebo control groups. But vaccine companies absolutely don’t care because they aren’t liable for any damages they cause. And yes it is… Read more »

I can tell that medical tyranny has corrupted the courts also. This would be a form of “without rule of law” (wrol). How about fake saline shots then.

This judge is totally wrong. And shamelessly so. The Nuremberg Code became the law in every American State in 1992, when the U.S. Congress ratified the International Covenant for Civil and Political Rights. Article 7 of the ICCPR is the Nuremberg Code. Under the Nuremberg Code, it is illegal to compel anyone to be in any medical experiment. Each vaccination, for each person, is always a medical experiment: “N = 1.” The COVID-19 injection, whether or not the FDA “approves” it for general use or not, is always a medical experiment, and telling employees that they will be fired if… Read more »

I hope it goes to the Texas Supreme court. For the Judge to rule against this is despicable. We all know the jab is NOT FDA approved, but only authorized under emergency medical measures.. Even if it WERE FDA fully approved.. FOcring a medical treatment on anyone without their consent (fully informed) is a violation of the Nuremberg code.

These vaccines ARE experimental. I’m not going to say who but someone in my family had a perfect way out. She waited until the last minute to quit nursing so nobody would think she was thinking she was better than anyone, but she got into very prestigious college a while ago to get her doctorate degree while still working nursing. She said and it’s true that she doesn’t have enough time to study to make passing grades so she had to quit. I hope she bypasses this thing. She said she was going to find a way around it and… Read more »
