Going Viral in Japan: Joe Biden Sent Out $1,400 Stimulus Checks to Roughly 150,000 Japanese Citizens

Two months after Texas opened up and did away with its COVID-19 restrictions, a move that Joe Biden described as “neanderthal,” the state reported zero COVID-related deaths and the fewest cases in “over 13 months.”
The announcement came from Gov. Greg Abbott, who tweeted Monday, May 17: “Today Texas reported: * 0 Covid related deaths–the only time that’s happened since data was tracked in March, 2020. * the fewest Covid cases in over 13 months * the lowest 7-day Covid positivity rate ever * the lowest Covid hospitalizations in 11 months. Thanks, Texans!”
Abbott followed that the next day by referencing a new low in “positive cases” along with a new “11 month low in COVID hospitalizations.”
The welcome news comes in light of a libelous attack made by Biden some months ago, when Gov. Abbott announced the opening up of the state in conjunction with Mississippi Gov. Tate Reeves on March 2. Responding to Abbott’s announcement of “Texas is OPEN 100%,” Biden slammed the two governors, suggesting they were making a “big mistake.”
Going further, Biden attacked the governors’ character and competence, describing them as “Neanderthals.”
“The last thing, the last thing we need is Neanderthal thinking that in the meantime everything’s fine, take off your mask.”
As Europe pushes ahead with its vaccination program, the Nordic countries are reporting a surge in damaging side effects. In the country, the tally has surpassed 30K with the majority of these reactions reported in patients who received the AstraZeneca jab.
Sweden’s Medical Products Agency reported that as of last week, the Scandinavian nation had tallied 31,844 reports of adverse reactions linked to its vaccine rollout.
Sweden presently offers 3 different COVID-19 jabs: Moderna, Pfizer and AstraZeneca, with the latter being the most widely available (while other European states like Germany have sought to offer substitutes to younger patients, who are more vulnerable to dangerous cerebral blood clots, which are a rare – but not unheard of – side effect).
The number of suspected adverse reactions from the two shots seems relatively small when compared to the 19,961 reports linked to AstraZeneca’s Vaxzevria, while the AstraZeneca shot only accounts for about 26% of the roughly 2.7MM vaccines that have been administered so far in Sweden, but makes up around 63% of the side effects reports.
London-based blockchain analytics firm Elliptic said in a report t it had identified the bitcoin wallet being used by DarkSide—a hacker group believed to be based out of Eastern Europe—to collect ransom from its victims, including the Colonial Pipeline.
The wallet showed over $90 million in bitcoin ransom payments were made to DarkSide over the past nine months from 47 victims, with the average payment to the group likely totaling $1.9 million, according to Elliptic.
It was widely reported last week that DarkSide collected $5 million from Colonial after the pipeline shutdown.
The group—which operates via a “ransomware-as-a-service” business model, developing and selling malware to be used by other cyber criminals—saw over 99 organizations infected with its software, suggesting just under half of all victims paid ransom.
Of the $90 million it accrued, $15.5 million went to DarkSide’s developers while $74.7 million went to affiliates, according to Elliptic.
“To our knowledge, this analysis includes all payments made to DarkSide, however further transactions may yet be uncovered, and the figures here should be considered a low bound,” wrote Tom Robinson, Elliptic’s co-founder and chief scientist.

The Capitol Police have 14,000 hours of video of the Capitol between noon and 8 pm on January 6, but the police, along with government lawyers and federal judges, are using every legal trick possible to keep the videos hidden from the public. Cherry-picked clips have been presented in court as evidence against hundreds of January 6 defendants. The recordings likely contradict the claims advanced by Democrats and the media over the past four months.
A newly-obtained video shows United States Capitol Police officers speaking with several January 6 protestors—including Jacob Chansley, the so-called “Q shaman”—inside the Capitol that afternoon.
One officer, identified in the video and confirmed by charging documents as Officer Keith Robishaw, appears to tell Chansely’s group they won’t stop them from entering the building. “We’re not against . . . you need to show us . . . no attacking, no assault, remain calm,” Robishaw warns. Chansley and another protestor instruct the crowd to act peacefully. “This has to be peaceful,” Chansley yelled. “We have the right to peacefully assemble.”
The video directly contradicts what government prosecutors allege in a complaint filed January 8 against Chansley: “Robishaw and other officers calmed the protestors somewhat and directed them to leave the area from the same way they had entered. Chansley approached Officer Robishaw and screamed, among other things, that this was their house, and that they were there to take the Capitol, and to get Congressional leaders.”
