First Florida, then Texas, and now Mississippi has also removed business restrictions and dropped state mask mandates.

âSo today, Iâm issuing a new executive order that rescinds most of the earlier executive orders,â Abbott said. âEffective next Wednesday, all businesses of any type are allowed to open 100%âŚ.also, I am ending the statewide mask mandate,â Abbott said from Lubbock.
âUnder no circumstance can someone be punished for not wearing a mask,â he said.
