London: Buses Changed from Red to Black to Instill Fear over Alleged Rise in Covid-19 ‘Cases’
UK Prime Minster Boris Johnson announced a national lockdown in early January and a big black Covid-19 double decker scare bus was seen in London, warning people of the dangers through loudspeakers. The bus visits locations such as supermarkets and high streets where there is high footfall. Some of the messages from the bus include: “Numbers of new cases are now rising steeply;” “2 to 3 people are dying of Covid in Redbridge every day;” and “Protect yourselves and your loved ones – avoid mixing indoors with other households.”
Long Beach CA: Kroger to Close 2 Stores in Response to $4 Hourly ‘Hero Pay’ Ordinance
Southern California: The Long Beach City Council passed a mandate requiring some companies with more than 300 employees to pay an extra $4 per hour to employees for hazard pay, called “Hero Pay. The measure backfired. Ralphs and Food 4 Less, owned by the parent company Kroger will be closing on April 17 due to the ordinance.
Kroger, which issued a $2 pay boost at the start of the pandemic, noted that it has already spent about $1.3 billion to reward associates and implement dozens of coronavirus-related safety measures since last March. Long Beach Mayor Robert Garcia said that Kroger is making double what they normally make off the pandemic and they’re making it on the backs of these workers. A similar measure, increasing hourly wages for some companies by $5 per hour, was also approved by the L.A. County Board of Supervisors last month. The California Grocers Association filed a legal challenge to the mandate calling it unconstitutional. -GEG
Kroger, the parent company of Ralphs and Food 4 Less, will soon shut down two stores in Long Beach, California in response to the city imposing a “hero pay” increase of $4 per hour for some grocery store workers.
A Ralphs and a Food 4 Less are slated to close on April 17, the company said Monday.
In announcing the closure, Kroger cited a recently passed Long Beach City Council ordinance that mandated the hazard pay bump for at least 120 days amid the increased health risk to workers during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The new law affects grocery stores with at least 300 employees nationwide or more than 15 employees per market in the city.
“As a result of the City of Long Beach’s decision to pass an ordinance mandating Extra Pay for grocery workers, we have made the difficult decision to permanently close long-struggling store locations in Long Beach,” a company spokesperson said in a news release. “This misguided action by the Long Beach City Council oversteps the traditional bargaining process and applies to some, but not all, grocery workers in the city.”
Kroger, which issued a $2 pay boost at the start of the pandemic, noted that it has already spent about $1.3 billion to reward associates and implement dozens of coronavirus-related safety measures since March when the virus’ spread began accelerating in the U.S. That’s on top of other additional benefits offered to employees during the pandemic, including paid emergency leave, the company said.
Biden Admin: Masks and Social Distancing Will be “Essential” even after Vaccines; Fauci Backtracks on Recommending 2 Masks.
White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said in her daily briefing today that even after people are vaccinated, the Biden administration will continue to push for Americans to wear masks and maintain social distance.
Psaki’s statement comes on the heels of Dr. Anthony Fauci indicating that the CDC was looking into possibly recommending Americans were two masks instead of just one. But then less than one week later. Fauci has changed his position on wearing masks numerous times and said at the beginning of the Covid-19 scare that masks were not necessary and were largely symbolic. Then he stated that masks “need to stay on” until everyone is vaccinated. And now he backtracked on wearing two masks by saying, “there is no data that indicates that it is going to make a difference.” -GEG
Less than one week after advising Americans that wearing two or even three masks would be ‘more effective’ against the spread of coronavirus, Dr Fauci has done a complete 180 (again) and admitted that there is no data to suggest it will make any difference.
Time Magazine Reveals Astounding Inner Workings by Leftist Activists, Rioters, Big Biz, Big Tech and the Media to Oust Trump
Time Magazine published a detailed description of how the left organized the ouster of President Donald Trump in the 2020 election. It is a window into the structure of the groups that colluded to put Joe Biden into office. Some of the main players include Big Tech and the media outlets that control the flow of information. The AFL-CIO that supposedly represents workers, and the US Chamber of commerce that supposedly represents entrepreneurs, joined forces to pressure Trump and Republican politicians to accept defeat. The riots of Antifa and Black Lives Matter were weaponized as a looming threat against anyone who opposed or had the power to stop the certification of the 2020 election. -GEG
Summary by JW Williams
Time Magazine published a 6,500 word article by Molly Ball about how the outcome of the 2020 election was orchestrated to oust President Trump by left wing activists, unions, corporations, the Chamber of Commerce, tech monopolies, mainstream media, Democrat and Republican politicians, Antifa, and Black Lives Matter. Ball wrote that these actors “were not rigging the election; they were fortifying it.”
Other collaborators included the institutional left, like Planned Parenthood and Greenpeace, resistance groups like Indivisible and MoveOn, progressive data geeks and strategists, representatives of donors and foundations, state-level grassroots organizers, and Christian groups such as the National Association of Evangelicals and the National African American Clergy Network.
Mike Podhorzer, the political director of the American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL-CIO), was identified as the architect of the scheme, and he made a pact with the US Chamber of Commerce. Then corporate America turned on Trump and hundreds of major business leaders, many of whom had backed Trump’s candidacy and supported his policies, called on him to concede. Fox News host Laura Ingraham has suggested that the purpose of the right/ left alliance of the Chamber of Commerce and the AFL-CIO was to get rid of Trump and sweep pro-immigration Joe Biden into office in order to open the border to migrants for cheap labor, a benefit for large corporations, while the AFL-CIO would benefit from migrants becoming new members.
Here are some key quotes from Ball:
“There was a conspiracy unfolding behind the scenes, one that both curtailed the protests and coordinated the resistance from CEOs. Both surprises were the result of an informal alliance between left-wing activists and business titans.” And, she later hinted that businesses were tacitly threatened by damage and violence from riots when she wrote, “The summer’s racial-justice protests had sent a signal to business owners too: the potential for economy-disrupting civil disorder.”
She revealed the goals that were achieved by the left: “Their work touched every aspect of the election. They got states to change voting systems and laws and helped secure hundreds of millions in public and private funding. They fended off voter-suppression lawsuits, recruited armies of poll workers and got millions of people to vote by mail for the first time. They successfully pressured social media companies to take a harder line against disinformation and used data-driven strategies to fight viral smears. They executed national public-awareness campaigns that helped Americans understand how the vote count would unfold over days or weeks, preventing Trump’s conspiracy theories and false claims of victory from getting more traction. After Election Day, they monitored every pressure point to ensure that Trump could not overturn the result.”
Ball claimed that Fox News surprised everyone by calling Arizona for Biden on Election Day. On November 7, 2020, the election was called, not by states with certified ballot counts, but by the media, giving the perception that Biden had won the election. Anti-Trump leftist crowds were told to “stand down” instead of causing conflict. The stand-down order shows that leftist rioters and vandals can be turned ‘on’ and ‘off’ and are highly organized.
Ball stated that the racial-justice uprising sparked by George Floyd’s killing in May was not primarily a political move, although it was harnessed to influence the election through the threat of violent protests and that leftist activists began preparing mass protests if Trump tried to “steal” the election. More than 150 liberal groups joined the “Protect the Results” coalition that had a map listing 400 planned post-election demonstrations, to be activated via text message as soon as November 4. In a poll before Election Day, 75% of Americans voiced concern about violence.
The left used other intimidation tactics against GOP legislators from the swing state of Michigan, House Speaker Lee Chatfield and Senate majority leader Mike Shirkey, whom Trump invited to Washington on November 20th, to persuade them to declare the election void and appoint their own electors. The plan failed after leftists swarmed Chatfield and Shirkey at the airport as they arrived and departed. Before the Michigan lawmakers left DC, they met for a drink at the Trump hotel and a street artist projected their images onto the outside of the building along with the words THE WORLD IS WATCHING. Three former governors of Michigan and influential donors also pressured the lawmakers. A law professor at the University of Michigan wrote an article claiming that the meeting with the Republican lawmakers was inappropriate and should be investigated, a veiled threat that caused the Michigan leaders to bring attorneys with them to the meeting with the President.
The Michigan state canvassing board, before certifying the votes, had their livestream flooded with leftist activists who testified for hours with the message of respecting voters’ wishes and counting all votes, and the liberal activists also filled Twitter with their hashtag, #alleyesonmi. After that, the dominoes fell. Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and the rest of the states certified their electors.
On January 6, 2021, hundreds of thousands of Trump supporters rallied in DC and were surprised when they were virtually no counter-protesters. The activist left was “strenuously discouraging counter activity,” to avoid blame for any mayhem. Following the breach at the Capitol, Trump supporters have now been vilified as insurrectionists and terrorists.
