Banks and Corporations Cut Ties with President Trump and Republicans who Opposed Election Fraud


After the event in the Capitol last week, Deutsche Bank AG announced it is terminating business with President Trump. At this time, Trump is reported to owe the lender more than $340-million. Signature Bank is following Deutsche Bank’s lead. American Express, MasterCard, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan, and Stripe are cutting ties with Trump and/or other Republicans who opposed the certification of the 2020 presidential election results favoring Joe Biden. Walmart, Disney, Hallmark, Best Buy, Verizon, Comcast, AT&T, and Airbnb have also confirmed the suspensions of financial contributions to any Republican who opposed the election certification. Mayor Bill de Blasio announced that New York City will terminate business contracts with the Trump Organization that earns about $17-million a year in profits from its contracts to run two ice-skating rinks and a carousel in Central Park as well as a golf course in the Bronx. The PGA of America cut ties to President Donald Trump when it voted Sunday to take the PGA Championship event away from his New Jersey golf course next year.
