About a dozen Black Lives Matter “activists” went to the hospital where the officers were being treated and blocked the entrance and also threatened law enforcement officers. The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors authorized a $100,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspect.
Dijon Kizzee, a black man who was stopped for a bicycle code violation, dropped the bike and fled, and then punched an officer in a scuffle. Sheriffs say that a semi-automatic handgun fell from Kizzee’s clothing and when he made a move to retrieve the firearm, the sheriff’s deputies opened fire and killed Kizzee.
