Contact Tracing: US Supreme Court Already Has Ruled that Tracking People by Cellphone Is Unlawful

Contact Tracing uses cellphone GPS data to trace individuals and groups to a particular location, and your private data will be controlled by county officials. Counties are also considering using infrared technology to “look” inside private homes and buildings to determine the number of people who are gathered. However, the US Supreme Court previously has ruled that it is NOT lawful for the government to use such data to track individuals without a warrant. The Court also has ruled that a government entity must have a warrant to use infrared technology to look inside a private building. For government officers to use cell data or infrared technology to track people, they must have express permission from each person or a warrant for every individual. Otherwise, tracking will be an unlawful search and seizure. Attorney KrisAnne Hall wrote an open letter for citizens to share with county officials advising them of these rulings. She believes citizens would win civil-rights lawsuits based on these rulings. Dr. Pamela Popper is asking anyone whose cell phone has been used to contact trace them to reach out to her to participate in a lawsuit. -GEG

“…The use of cell phones by government entities to geo track people is not a new nor an unsettled issue.Although it may be legal for a hospital or university to purchase such data from a cell phone provider for research purposes, it is NOT lawful for the government to use the data from data scientists to track individuals without a warrant -even though that data comes from a third party. In Carpenter v. U.S.,the Supreme Court held that a government entity MUST have a warrant to use cell data to geo track someone, even when that data comes from a third party.

Additionally, the Supreme Court held in Kyllo v U.S. that a government entity must have a warrant to use infrared technology to look inside a private building and to do so without a warrant is a violation of our rights to privacy.

For government officers to use cell data or infrared technology to track people, they must have either express permission from each person or a warrant for every single individual or that tracking will be an unlawful search and seizure. If our officials use this technology for contact tracing without warrants, regardless of where the data comes from, it will be tantamount to legal negligence. Given the recency of these Supreme Court cases it is highly likely that the counties would lose a civil rights challenge and the taxpayers will foot the bill.”

Black Trump Supporter Fatally Shot Outside His Milwaukee Business

Milwaukee: Bernell Trammell, 59, a black Trump supporter, was fatally shot outside his business in broad daylight on July 23. He was often seen wielding large, handwritten signs with his personal beliefs in big, bold letters that supported George Floyd, police reform and President Donald Trump. While no official motive has been announced, some believe the murder was politically motivated because he was pro-Trump. There is video of a masked suspect, but he has yet to be identified. -GEG

As police in Milwaukee search for the person responsible for fatally shooting a Black Trump supporter outside of his business, officials say the community needs to know if the crime was politically motivated.

Bernell ‘Ras’ Trammell, 59, was often seen wielding large, handwritten signs with his personal beliefs in big, bold letters. These signs supported George Floyd, police reform and President Donald Trump. He ran “Expressions Journal,” a small publication where he created his signs and publishings.

Neighbors say Trammell was sitting in a lawn chair outside the business July 23 when he was fatally shot in broad daylight. On Saturday, his friends gathered to create a memorial.

Detroit Police Chief Explains How He Has Prevented Riots

Riots and destruction continue in many Democrat-controlled cities because they are allowed to continue. In Detroit, however, not one business has been destroyed or looted. Detroit Police Chief James Craig says his city kept the peace because they decided at the beginning that “We weren’t giving up ground to the radicals.” He credited the residents of the city, who he said stood with the police. Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan has supported the city’s police department. -GEG

On Tuesday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” Detroit Police Chief James Craig discussed how his city kept the peace during recent protests and rioting across the country. Craig said that he made a tactical decision that “We weren’t giving up ground to the radicals.” And credited the residents of the city, who he said have had enough with “misguided radicals that have tried to incite violence in our city.”

Craig said, “One thing I learned from my time in Los Angeles, we don’t retreat here in Detroit. We’re just not going to do it. You saw the images, Tucker, of streets where there was lawlessness, looting, burning, no sight of police officers. We weren’t giving up ground to the radicals. We just didn’t do it.”

He added, “Detroiters are fed up with these radical [protesters.] I’m not talking about the peaceful protesters. I’m talking about…these misguided radicals that have tried to incite violence in our city. They said, we’re not going to put up with it. And so, we’ve got a couple of things. We’ve got a great police department, great leadership, but we have a community that stands with us and by us, and said, enough is enough.”

Republican Radio Show Host Herman Cain Died, COVID-19 Is Said to Be Cause of Death

Atlanta: Former Republican presidential candidate, businessman and radio show host, Herman Cain, died at 74 years of age with COVID-19 as the reported cause of death. Mr. Cain had battled colon cancer, and it is unknown what other illnesses he may have had or what toxic medications he was taking. Mr. Cain attended the rally for President Trump in Tulsa on June 20th and would have been tested for coronavirus there. It is presumed, therefore, that he tested negative that day. Otherwise, he would not have been allowed to be close to Trump. Mr. Cain reportedly tested positive for COVID-19 on June 29 and was hospitalized two days later.

Herman Cain, former Republican presidential candidate and former CEO of a major pizza chain who went on to become an ardent supporter of President Donald Trump, died Thursday of complications from the coronavirus. He was 74.

Dan Calabrese, who authored a post on Cain’s website announcing the death, told The Associated Press that Cain died at an Atlanta hospital early Thursday morning.

Cain had been ill with the virus for several weeks. It’s not clear when or where he was infected, but he was hospitalized less than two weeks after attending Trump’s campaign rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on June 20. Cain had been co-chair of Black Voices for Trump.

A photo taken at the rally showed Cain, without a mask, sitting closely to other people who also were not wearing any face coverings. A statement on his Twitter account said he tested positive for COVID on June 29 and was hospitalized July 1 because his symptoms were serious.

“We knew when he was first hospitalized with COVID-19 that this was going to be a rough fight,” Calabrese wrote in the website post Thursday.

Trump offered his condolences in a tweet on Thursday in which he said he had also spoken by telephone to Cain’s family.

He later started his news conference at the White House with a mention of Cain’s death. “He was a very special person … and unfortunately he passed away from a thing called the China virus,” Trump said, using the moniker he often ascribes to the new coronavirus, which was first detected in China.

He added, “We send out prayers to Herman’s great wife, Gloria … And I have to say, America grieves for all of the 150,000 Americans that had their lives taken by this horrible, invisible enemy.”

Cain, who had hoped to become the first Black politician to win the GOP nomination, was initially considered a long-shot candidate. His bid was propelled forward in September 2011 when he won a straw poll vote in Florida, instantly becoming an alternative candidate for Republican voters concerned that former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney was not conservative enough.

Yale Professor of Epidemiology Endorses Anti-Covid Drug Hydroxychloroquine

Harvey Risch, a professor of epidemiology at Yale School of Public Health, fully endorses the use of the anti-viral drug, hydroxychloroquine, coupled with azithromycin and zinc, to treat patients with COVID-19 symptoms. He says it can save the lives of tens of thousands of patients. He cited a number of studies with hundreds of high-risk patients that resulted in zero deaths and reduced hospitalization risk. He says hydroxychloroquine has become disregarded because it has been politicized (Trump recommended it), it was not used properly in several studies when given to patients, and an FDA report claiming thousands cases of arrhythmias were reported from use of the drug. The report was criminally distorted, however, because the adverse effects were generated from tens of millions of patients’ use over long periods of time and did not honestly reflect the risk rate.

As professor of epidemiology at Yale School of Public Health, I have authored over 300 peer-reviewed publications and currently hold senior positions on the editorial boards of several leading journals. I am usually accustomed to advocating for positions within the mainstream of medicine, so have been flummoxed to find that, in the midst of a crisis, I am fighting for a treatment that the data fully support but which, for reasons having nothing to do with a correct understanding of the science, has been pushed to the sidelines. As a result, tens of thousands of patients with COVID-19 are dying unnecessarily. Fortunately, the situation can be reversed easily and quickly.

I am referring, of course, to the medication hydroxychloroquine. When this inexpensive oral medication is given very early in the course of illness, before the virus has had time to multiply beyond control, it has shown to be highly effective, especially when given in combination with the antibiotics azithromycin or doxycycline and the nutritional supplement zinc.

On May 27, I published an article in the American Journal of Epidemiology (AJE) entitled, “Early Outpatient Treatment of Symptomatic, High-Risk COVID-19 Patients that Should be Ramped-Up Immediately as Key to the Pandemic Crisis.” That article, published in the world’s leading epidemiology journal, analyzed five studies, demonstrating clear-cut and significant benefits to treated patients, plus other very large studies that showed the medication safety.

Physicians who have been using these medications in the face of widespread skepticism have been truly heroic. They have done what the science shows is best for their patients, often at great personal risk. I myself know of two doctors who have saved the lives of hundreds of patients with these medications, but are now fighting state medical boards to save their licenses and reputations. The cases against them are completely without scientific merit.

Since publication of my May 27 article, seven more studies have demonstrated similar benefit. In a lengthy follow-up letter, also published by AJE, I discuss these seven studies and renew my call for the immediate early use of hydroxychloroquine in high-risk patients. These seven studies include: an additional 400 high-risk patients treated by Dr. Vladimir Zelenko, with zero deaths; four studies totaling almost 500 high-risk patients treated in nursing homes and clinics across the U.S., with no deaths; a controlled trial of more than 700 high-risk patients in Brazil, with significantly reduced risk of hospitalization and two deaths among 334 patients treated with hydroxychloroquine; and another study of 398 matched patients in France, also with significantly reduced hospitalization risk. Since my letter was published, even more doctors have reported to me their completely successful use.

Dr. Risch’s Study Published in May 2020:

Watch ‘America’s Frontline Doctors’ Press Conference that Was Banned on Social Media

The press conference held by a group of physicians, America’s Frontline Doctors, has been banned on Facebook, Youtube, and Twitter after garnering tens of millions of views. The goal of the press conference was to combat groundless fear that has overwhelmed Americans over COVID-19. Dr. Simone Gold said there is effective treatment available for COVID-19, especially during the early phase of the illness, and that 70,000 to 100,000 patients that died could have been saved this ttreatment. Big Tech has censored this video because it cannot refute the information. The group’s website was also was taken down by host Squarespace and they now have a new website: AmericasFrontlineDoctorSummit.com. Dr. Simone Gold was fired from her job at a hospital and she is now represented by attorney Lin Wood, who also represents Covington teen Nick Sandman in a high-dollar defamation case. Here is the information someone in power does not want us to have. -GEG

Watch Banned Press Conference Video by the Frontline Doctors at this link on Bitchute:

Summary by JW Williams

After President Trump shared on Twitter a video by America’s Frontline Doctors that challenged the mainstream narrative about COVID-19, all the major social-media platforms, banned it.

Dr. Bob Hamilton, a pediatrician from Santa Monica, recommended that children should go back to school because few are getting infected, and the mortality rate is only one-fifth of 1%. He said children are not the drivers of infection, and kids are not passing it to parents or teachers. He is from Los Angeles and said that teachers’ unions there are standing in the way of reopening schools as they are demanding money, elimination of private-charter schools, and defunding for police, none of which has anything to do with education or viruses.. He said that only 30 children aged 15 and younger have died from COVID-19, and most of those also had other potentially fatal conditions.

Dr. Stella Immanuel, a primary-care doctor from Houston, is drawing criticism for her religious beliefs and for saying, “The virus has a cure, it’s called hydroxychloroquine, zinc, and Zithromax. You don’t need masks. You don’t need people to be locked down. There is prevention and there is a cure.”

Dr. Dan Erickson said that the lockdown of our $21-trillion economy has caused public-health issues such as suicides, domestic conflicts, and alcoholism. He recommended allowing people to choose whatever therapy or preventive measures they choose.

Dr. Ursa said that several hydroxychloroquine studies made it seem dangerous only because toxic doses of hydroxychloroquine were used up to twelve time higher than anyone ever recommended. In other words, the tests were designed to fail.

From The Hill:

In the past few days, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube have removed from their sites a video in which a group of doctors endorse the use of hydroxychloroquine, in combination with the antibiotic Zithromax and zinc, as an effective treatment for early stage COVID-19. The social media platforms claim the doctors’ message violated their policies against publishing what CNN described as “false and dubious claims.”

Why are these social media giants deciding what treatments work or don’t work? How do they know whether claims of hydroxychloroquine’s effectiveness are true or false?

Before taking down the Breitbart News-posted video, it had garnered 14 million views on Facebook and 40,000 on YouTube. Among others retweeting it was President Trump, who famously has taken hydroxychloroquine as a prophylactic measure and been lambasted by the media for his confidence in the medication.

To many, this appears to be just the latest effort by liberals in various media to refute that the anti-malarial medicine, in combination with other drugs, has helped save lives — simply because they don’t like Trump.

While that might be dismissed as “just politics,” the larger issue that should concern us all is whether social media sites alone should decide what we can and can’t read, view or hear — and where allowing them to do so will ultimately lead.

CNN scorned the people behind the presentation, describing them as “a group of people wearing white lab coats calling themselves ‘America’s Frontline Doctors.’” The CNN reporter especially derides one speaker “who identifies herself as a doctor” as saying masks are not necessary, and claiming recent studies debunking hydroxychloroquine are “fake science” sponsored by “fake pharma companies.”

That speaker, according to the Washington Post, is Dr. Stella Immanuel, who in November received a medical license from Texas but has also practiced medicine in Nigeria. The Post reports that Immanuel “calls herself a “Deliverance Minister” and “God’s battle axe and weapon of war.” Those terms are from her Twitter profile; she also describes herself as both a physician and entrepreneur. Immanuel’s credentials may, indeed, be hard to authenticate. But she is not alone in endorsing hydroxychloroquine.

It is harder to dismiss Dr. Harvey Risch, professor of epidemiology at Yale’s School of Public Health. Dr. Risch recently published a piece in Newsweek in which he says he has “authored over 300 peer-reviewed publications and currently hold[s] senior positions on the editorial boards of several leading journals.”

Dr. Risch writes that he is “flummoxed” to find himself “fighting for a treatment that the data fully support but which, for reasons having nothing to do with a correct understanding of the science, has been pushed to the sidelines. As a result, tens of thousands of patients with COVID-19 are dying unnecessarily.” He explains that when hydroxychloroquine is administered early on, in combination with azithromycin or doxycycline and zinc, it has been “highly effective.”

In May, Dr. Risch published a piece in the American Journal of Epidemiology (AJE) in which he analyzed five studies, all of which showed “clear-cut and significant benefits” from using the inexpensive drug, as well as other studies confirming the medication’s safety. As Risch notes, doctors are prescribing this treatment in spite of skepticism and harassment — not from the medical community, but from some in the media. He says he knows two doctors who have “saved the lives of hundreds of patients” but are now fighting state medical boards to save their licenses.

Dr. Risch writes that since his earlier article was published, seven more studies have shown similar benefits.

Based on what Dr. Risch and others say, it appears that the use of hydroxychloroquine has been politicized and discarded largely because President Trump optimistically embraced it early on. Many in the media, delighted to see the president’s approval ratings slip because of the pandemic’s devastation, are loath to report progress, much less a cure.

The Washington Post, in its coverage of the America’s Frontline Doctors briefing, cites studies that have debunked the anti-malarial drug’s effectiveness. Indeed, some reviews have shown negative outcomes, but those studies reportedly have mostly looked at the use of hydroxychloroquine by itself and not in combination with the recommended antibiotics and zinc.

In other research, hydroxychloroquine was administered to seriously ill persons. Dr. Risch and others have made it clear that the drug’s effectiveness declines with the advancement of the disease.

The Post also cautions that still other studies have linked the anti-malarial drug to heart arrhythmia; Dr. Risch dismisses this risk as minor, and insignificant compared to the potential benefits, citing a recent paper in the American Journal of Medicine.

Clearly, the issue is hotly debated by medical and scientific experts. But if Dr. Risch is right that a “cocktail” of medications including hydroxychloroquine can help people survive COVID-19, our health officials should be open to advocating its use. At the least, they should allow doctors to prescribe the medication as they think best.

The conservative Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS) has in recent days sued the Food and Drug Administration and the Department of Health and Human Services, presenting evidence as to why those agencies should stop preventing the use of hydroxychloroquine (HCQ). Today, in all but four states, use of the drug is restricted.

According to the AAPS’s general counsel, “The mortality rate from COVID-19 in countries that allow access to HCQ is only one-tenth the mortality rate in countries where there is interference with this medication, such as the United States.”

Prescribing hydroxychloroquine should not be a political battle, which, unhappily, is what it has become. It should be strictly a medical and scientific issue, to be resolved by experts, not by politicians, pundits or social media monitors; yet, again unhappily, the latter seem to be the ones making the decisions at the moment.

Walmart, Home Depot, and Others Will Not Stop Mask-Free Patrons from Shopping

Though Walmart is requiring customers to wear face masks in all of its stores, the chain, like many others, will not require employees to enforce this policy and has instructed associates to still serve customers who do not wear masks. A Walmart training video reportedly said that if someone refuses to wear a mask, they should let them enter the store and notify management “so that they can determine the next steps.” Most stores want to avoid conflict and do not believe it is their responsibility to enforce masks. Walmart says 65% of its US stores and Sam’s Clubs are in areas where there is a government mandate for face coverings. Target says the figure for its stores was around 80%. -GEG

Though Walmart is requiring customers to wear face masks in all of its stores, the chain, like many others, will not require employees to enforce this policy and has instructed associates to still serve customers who do not wear masks, according to a recent report by CNN.

The outlet cited retailers like CVS, Walgreens, Lowe’s, and Home Depot among those that have said they will not prevent mask-less shoppers from shopping in their stores, citing fears that these shoppers will get violent or otherwise harass these workers. CNN mentioned the recent trend in viral videos, showing anti-mask customers yelling at workers and in some cases, getting physical.

These videos have raised questions about who is “responsible” for enforcing such policies and how strictly they should be enforced. President of the Retail, Wholesale and Department Store Union Stuart Appelbaum told CNN that it should be up to security or management to handle enforcing the requirement.

“It’s no different than wearing shoes or a shirt,” he said, in part, but went on to say that if no one enforces these new requirements, stores “never had a requirement. All they had was a public relations stunt.”

Walmart, in its case, has appointed “health ambassadors” to remind customers of the mask requirement when they come to the entrance of the store. But CNN reported that a training video for the position said that if someone refuses to wear a mask, they should let them enter the store and notify management “so that they can determine the next steps.” Management would then offer them a complimentary mask, according to “talking points” but even if they do not take it, they would be permitted to continue shopping, according to the outlet. Employees are reportedly being told to never physically block customers from entering the store in the video.

US Representative Louis Gohmert Proposed Ban on Democrat Party for Supporting Slavery

US Representative Louie Gohmert, a Republican from Texas, gave a speech on the House floor, calling on Congress to ban any political organization or party that has ever held a public position supporting slavery or the Confederate States of America, namely, the Democrat party. He made historical references to the Democrats’ support for slavery including the rejection of congressional federal control over slavery, penalizing officials for refusing to enforce the Fugitive Slave Law, voter suppression, Democrat affiliation with the KuKluxKlan and Democrat enforcement of Jim Crow laws and civil codes that forced segregation. He proposed that any political organization or party that has ever held a public position that supported slavery of the Confederacy shall either change its name or be barred from participation in the House of Representatives.

Four days after Congressman Gohmert gave his speech, there was an altercation between two groups of protesters, one was permitted for Back the Blue, in support of police, and the second was for Democrat Hank Gilbert, who is opposing Gohmert in the upcoming election. Gohmert was asked to comment and he said that he had no knowledge of the event before it took place, and that he didn’t know anything about it. He did comment that Democrat leaders paid agitators to create violence at Trump events in 2016 and then blamed the mess on Trump. He said Democrats and Marxists are doing the same thing this year.

Transcript from Real Clear Politics:

Okay. Raising a question of the privileges of the House, whereas on July 22nd, 2020, House Resolution 7573 was brought to the House floor for a vote with the purpose of eliminating four specific statues or bus from the United States Capitol, along with all others that include individuals who “served as an officer or voluntarily with the Confederate States of America or the military forces or government of a state while the state was in rebellion against the United States,” yet failed to address the most ever-present historical stigma of the United States Capitol. That is the source that so fervently supported, condoned and fought for slavery that was left untouched, but without whom the evil of slavery could never have continued as it did to such extreme that it is necessary to address here in order for the U.S. House of Representatives to avoid degradation of historical fact and blatant hypocrisy for generations to come.

Whereas the Democratic Party Platform of 1840, 1844, 1848, 1852 and 1856, states “that Congress has no power under the constitution to interfere with or control the domestic institutions of the several states, and that such States are the sole and proper judges of everything appertaining to their own affairs, not prohibited by the constitution; that all efforts of the abolitionists or others made to induce Congress to interfere with questions of slavery are calculated to lead to the most alarming and dangerous consequences; and that all such efforts have an inevitable tendency to diminish the happiness of the people and endanger the stability and permanency of the Union and not to be countenanced by any friend of our political institutions.” Again, from the Democratic Party Platform of those years.

Whereas the Democratic Party Platform of 1856 further declares that new States to the union should be admitted “with or without domestic slavery as the state may elect,” whereas the Democratic Party Platform of 1856 also resolves that, “We recognize the right of the people of all the territories to form a constitution with or without domestic slavery,” whereas the Fugitive Slave Law of 1850 penalize officials who did not arrest and alleged runaway slaves and made them liable for a fine of a thousand dollars, which is about $28,000 in present day value. Law enforcement officials everywhere were required to arrest people suspected of being a runaway slave on as little as a claimant’s sworn testimony of ownership.

The Democratic Party Platform of 1860 directly, in seeking to uphold the Fugitive Slave Act, states that “the enactments of the state legislatures to defeat the faithful execution of the Fugitive Slave Law are hostile in character, subversive of the constitution, revolutionary in their effect.” The Democratic Party Platform, again. Whereas the 14th amendment giving full citizenship to freed slaves passed in 1868 with 94% Republican support, 0% Democratic support in Congress. The 15th amendment giving freed slaves the right to vote passed in 1870 with 100% Republican support and 0% Democratic support in Congress, whereas Democrats systematically suppressed African Americans’ right to vote by the specific example in the 1902 constitution of the state of Virginia, actually disenfranchised about 90% of the black men who still voted at the beginning of the 20th century and nearly half of the white men, so they suppressed Republican voters as well.

The number of eligible African American voters were thereby forcibly reduced from about 147,000 in 1901 to about 10,000 by 1905. That measure was supported almost exclusively by Virginia Democrats, and whereas the Virginia 1902 constitution was engineered by Carter Glass, the future Democratic U.S. representative, senator and secretary of treasury under Democrat President Woodrow Wilson, who proclaimed the goal of the constitutional convention as follows. This Democrat exclaimed, “Discrimination? Why this is precisely what we propose. That’s exactly what this convention was elected for, to discriminate to the very extremity of permissible action under the limits of the federal constitution with a view toward elimination of every,” and I won’t use his word, but “African American voter who can be gotten rid of legally,” which was said by a Democrat and applauded by his fellow Democrats.

Whereas 1912 Democratic president Woodrow Wilson’s administration began a racial segregation policy for U.S. Government employees, and by 1914, the Wilson Administration Civil Service instituted the requirement a photograph be submitted with each employment application. And whereas the 1924 Democratic National Convention convened in New York City at Madison Square Garden, the convention commonly was known as the Klan Bake due to the overwhelming influence of the Ku Klux Klan in the Democratic Party. And whereas in 1964, the Democratic Party led a 75 calendar day filibuster against the 1964 Civil Rights Act, whereas leading the Democrats in their opposition to civil rights for African Americans was a member of the Democratic Party, Senator Robert Byrd from West Virginia, who was a known recruiter for the KU Klux Klan. Whereas Democrats enacted and enforced Jim Crow laws and civil codes that forced segregation, restricted freedoms of black Americans in the United States.

Whereas on June 18, 2020, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi ordered the removal from the capital portraits of four previous speakers of the House who served in the Confederacy, saying that these portraits “set back our nation’s work to confront and combat bigotry.” The men depicted in the portraits were Democrat Robert M.T. Hunter, Democrat Howell Cobb, Democrat James L. Orr, and Democrat Charles F. Crisp. Resolved that the speaker of the House of Representatives shall remove any item that named symbolizes or mentions any political organization or party that has ever held a public position that supported slavery or the Confederacy from any area within the House wing of the Capitol or any House office building and shall donate such item or symbol to the Library of Congress, and two, that any political organization or party that has ever held a public position that supported slavery of the Confederacy shall either change its name or be barred from participation in the House of Representatives. With that, I would yield back.

News article from Tyler Paper:

A small group of people listening to Hank Gilbert of Tyler, a Democrat running for Congress against incumbent Republican Louie Gohmert, felt they were attacked Sunday by a large crowd with Trump signs and shirts. There was also criticism against the way the Tyler Police Department handled the altercation.

Tyler Police, Rep. Gohmert and Take America Back organizers explained their side of the incident on the downtown square. Images and videos of the event have made national news.

“I have no firsthand knowledge of what went on, because I was not there, did not organize it, didn’t know about it until it was taking place, and I was going to catch a plane back to Washington,” Gohmert told the Tyler Morning Telegraph. “But, what came to my mind is the violence Democrat leaders paid to create at Trump campaign events in 2016, followed by Democrats then claiming Donald Trump incited violence. They created the mess, then blamed candidate Trump. There are Democrats and Marxists doing the same thing this year as well. It is difficult to tell, from what I understand today, who started what.”

Milwaukee: Police Pull Out of Guarding the The Democrat National Convention

At least 100 police agencies from areas surrounding Milwaukee have withdrawn from agreements to send personnel to help guard the Democratic National Convention in August. The reason for this is that the Milwaukee Fire and Police Commission ordered the police chief to stop using tear gas and pepper spray during demonstrations. The removal of the non-lethal tools leave the police with no choice but to use lethal force, and they are not willing to do that. President Trump canceled the large crowded Republican National Convention that was planned in Jacksonville, Florida over safety concerns over the coronavirus, but the GOP will hold technical aspects of the convention in Charlotte.- GEG

More than 100 police agencies are withdrawing from agreements to send personnel to bolster security at next month’s Democratic National Convention in Milwaukee, in part because they’re concerned about a recent directive ordering police in the city to stop using tear gas to control crowds.

A citizen oversight commission last week directed Milwaukee’s police chief to publicly account for why the department used tear gas during protests in late May and early June after the killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis and to change Milwaukee’s police policies to ban the use of tear gas and pepper spray. The Milwaukee Fire and Police Commission said in its order that Police Chief Alfonso Morales could be fired if he fails to comply.

That order came amid intense scrutiny of police tactics at protests in Portland, Oregon, and elsewhere.

Since the Milwaukee order was issued, more than 100 law enforcement agencies in Wisconsin and across the country decided against coming to Milwaukee, Morales told WTMJ-TV on Tuesday. They were concerned with directives placed on the police department, including not allowing tear gas or pepper spray, he said.

Morales did not say which agencies would not be coming or how many officers were still expected. The original plan was to have 1,000 officers on hand from outside agencies to assist with security. Morales said utilizing the National Guard or enlisting federal assistance was under consideration.

The convention, scheduled for Aug. 17-Aug. 20 at the Wisconsin Center in downtown Milwaukee, has been scaled down to a mostly virtual event, with only about 300 people expected to attend in-person. Most of the speeches will be delivered online from other locations, though former Vice President Joe Biden has said he will be in Milwaukee to accept the nomination. Despite the event’s smaller scale, police are preparing for potentially large protests in and around the venue.

A spokeswoman for the convention did not immediately return a message seeking comment Tuesday. The Milwaukee police oversight commission also did not return a message seeking comment.

Fond du Lac Police Chief William Lamb told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that the agreements were collapsing, saying he expects other agencies in the state to also withdraw. Lamb chairs the Wisconsin Police Executive Group, which is made up of police chiefs from cities with populations of more than 20,000 people.

Lamb sent a letter to Milwaukee police on July 6 outlining his organization’s concerns about limiting the use of tear gas and pepper spray. West Allis police first sent a letter to Morales with concerns in mid-June after Milwaukee’s Common Council temporarily halted the purchase of those chemicals.

“Our concern is that in the event protests turn non-peaceful, such a policy would remove tools from officers that may otherwise be legal and justifiable to utilize in specific situations,” West Allis Deputy Chief Robert Fletcher told the Journal Sentinel in an email.

Waukesha’s police chief said he was consulting with the city attorney’s office on how to withdraw from the agreement, which had promised about two dozen Waukesha officers.

Racist Platform of the Democratic National Committee Negatively References ‘Whites’ 15 Times

The Democratic National Committee is holding its convention in August and aims to appeal to minorities by featuring support for Black Lives Matter and pledging to fight racism. In doing so, it portrays Whites as having unwarranted privilege and exploiting Blacks. The document doesn’t capitalize the word white as it does Black, Latinos, Asian Americans, and Native Americans. GEG

Below are the 15 references to whites:

  1. We will never amplify or legitimize the voices of bigotry, racism, misogyny, anti-Semitism, Islamophobia, or white supremacy.
  2. Median incomes are lower and poverty rates are higher for Black Americans, Latinos, Native Americans, and some Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders, compared to median white households.
  3. And there is a persistent, pernicious racial wealth gap that holds millions of Americans back, with the typical white household holding six times more wealth than the typical Latino family and 10 times more wealth than the typical Black family.

Seattle Radio Host Now Wants a Gun to Defend Against the Mob After ‘Peaceful Protest’

Paul Gallant has a new perspective on violent protests after mocking President Donald Trump in June for saying anarchists were burning and pillaging Seattle. Gallant lives in an apartment above a Starbucks coffee shop that was trashed and burned in the latest Seattle riot. He tweeted that he wanted to buy a gun “because clearly this is going to keep happening.”

Paul Gallant has a new perspective on violent protests after mocking President Donald Trump in June for saying anarchists were burning and pillaging Seattle. All it took was for the mayhem to come near the talk show host’s home.

“I feel like I need to buy a firearm because this is clearly going to keep happening,” Gallant said Saturday night on Twitter after coming home to see the Starbucks coffeeshop below his apartment complex “destroyed” by vandals. “Enough is enough. It looks like a block party down the street from me. Really angry right now.”

The reaction stood in stark contrast to last month, when Trump complained that Seattle’s mayor was allowing violent protesters to take over the city. “These liberal Dems don’t have a clue,” the president said. “The terrorists burn and pillage our cities, and they think it’s just wonderful, even the death.”

Gallant, who co-hosts the ‘Danny & Gallant’show on Seattle’s ESPN radio affiliate, tweeted in response: “Walked through it last night out of curiosity and saw no burning, pillaging or deaths. Chill dawg.”

Riots Continue in Seattle But Federal Forces Sent Home Anyway

Seattle: Four to five thousand people protested peacefully on Saturday until a mob of about 1,500 broke away and the professional agitators set fires and faced off against law enforcement officers, assaulting them and hurling explosives at them. 59 officers were injured and 47 rioters were arrested. On Friday before the riot, Seattle Chief of Police Carmen Best advised her city’s business owners and residents that local police will not “risk their personal safety to protect property”. This apparently was motivated by a ban issued by the city council of against the use of tear gas and pepper spray to disperse rioters.

Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan blamed the violence on Trump and the federal forces, despite the destruction, murders and violence that occured before thew Feds arrived. She said the federal agents were a ‘dry run’ for martial law. Local governments in Democrat cities across the US are failing to enforce the law, leading to destruction and mayhem. Federal agents with the US Department of Homeland Security’s Border Patrol Tactical Unit have demobilized and left the Seattle area. {So now we see the spectacle of both local and federal governments deliberately allowing the rioters to operate. Why would they do that? We think it is because they are following a larger plan to make things so frightening that the American people will plead for martial law to “save” them. Yes, people in high places want martial law to oversee their end game of extinguishing the last spark of freedom in America. If they really wanted to stop the riots and destruction, all they would have to do is stop the funding from George Soros and let the police do their job.] -GEG

The Seattle Police Department declared a riot and arrested 45 people after “explosives” were thrown at officers when a protest turned violent in the city’s Capitol Hill neighborhood on Saturday.

FOX 10 reports:

Up to 1,000 protesters gathered about 2 p.m. Saturday for a peaceful march in solidarity with unrest and violent demonstrations in Portland. By 4 p.m., crowds had broken away from the protest, setting fires to construction trailers at the Juvenile Detention Center and attacking camera crews. […]

Police reported multiple explosions in the area and multiple fires, including one inside the East Precinct, where rioters breached a security fence to vandalize the building. Police are investigating “possible explosive damage” to the walls of the East Precinct and more explosives being thrown at police.

Seattle police said the protesters were arrested for assaults on officers, obstruction, and failure to disperse. Prior to announcing the arrests, police shared a photo of flammable objects being hurled at officers.
