Glacier Park in Montana Set to Remove ‘Glaciers Will All Be Gone By 2020’ Signs

Montana’s Glacier National Park is being forced to remove all signs that read “glaciers will all be gone by 2020,” after the doomsday scenario didn’t happen. In the late 90’s and early 2000s, scientists predicted that man-made global warming would cause melting glaciers, leading to rapidly rising sea levels that would sink coastal cities and towns. The article lists other global warming predictions that alarmists have gotten spectacularly wrong.

Montana’s Glacier National Park is being forced to remove all signs that read “glaciers will all be gone by 2020,” after the doomsday scenario didn’t happen.

Some of the signs were already removed last year as it became clear the prediction wasn’t going to unfold.

Now the rest of the signs will have to be taken down too.

Glacier National Park spokeswoman Gina Kurzmen “told MTN News that the latest research shows shrinking, but in ways much more complex than what was predicted. Because of this, the park must update all signs around the park stating all glaciers will be melted by 2020,” reports 8KPAX.

In the late 90’s and early 2000s, scientists predicted that man-made global warming would cause melting glaciers, leading to rapidly rising sea levels that would sink coastal cities and towns.

The more dire forecasts have proven to be totally inaccurate and some glaciers are now growing.

Back in June, NASA reported that the Jakobshavn Glacier in western Greenland had thickened and “has grown for the third year in a row.”

The glacier prediction is by no means the only forecast global warming alarmists have got spectacularly wrong.

At the end of the 70’s, climate experts said that a new ice age was coming. It didn’t happen.

Paul Erlich’s prediction that hundreds of millions of people would die of starvation due to crop failure by the 1980’s also didn’t happen.

Nearly 400K Anchor Babies Born in 2019, Exceeding U.S. Births in 48 States. Trump Has Yet to Sign ‘Anchor Baby Policy’ to End Birthright Citizenship

‘Anchor Babies’ born on US soil to non-citizens are immediately granted American citizenship and anchor their illegal or foreign parents in the country. President Trump promised to end birthright citizenship with an executive order, but has failed to keep his word. The Center for Immigration Studies revealed that about 300,000 ‘anchor babies were born in the US in 2018, and an additional 72,000 anchor babies were born to foreign tourists, foreign visa workers, and foreign students. Today, there are at least 4.5 million anchor babies in the US under 18-years-old that cost American taxpayers about $2.4 billion every year to subsidize hospital costs.

Close to 400,000 anchor babies were born in the United States in 2019 as an executive order to end birthright citizenship gets kicked down the road for another year by President Donald Trump’s administration.

Analysis conducted by the Center for Immigration Studies revealed in 2018 that about 300,000 U.S.-born children of illegal aliens are born every year. These children, often referred to as “anchor babies,” immediately obtain American citizenship and anchor their illegal or foreign parents in the country.

In addition, about 72,000 anchor babies are born to foreign tourists, foreign visa workers, and foreign students every year — all of whom obtain immediate American citizenship simply for being born within the parameters of the country.

Altogether, about 372,000 anchor babies are estimated to have been born last year despite a commitment by Trump to sign an executive order ending the nation’s “anchor baby policy” that incentivizes pregnant migrant women to cross the U.S.-Mexico border in the hopes of securing American citizenship for their children.

This indicates that there were more anchor babies born in 2019 than births in each of the 50 states except California and Texas. California residents deliver about 455,000 babies a year, while Texans deliver about 379,000 babies a year, just slightly more than the total annual number of anchor babies born.

For example, there were more than 34 times as many anchor babies born nationwide than American children born in the state of Delaware and nearly five times as many anchor babies born nationwide than the American children born in Arizona.

To date, the U.S. Supreme Court has never explicitly ruled that the U.S.-born children of illegal aliens must be granted automatic American citizenship, and a number of legal scholars dispute the idea.

Many leading conservative scholars argue the Citizenship Clause of the 14th Amendment does not provide mandatory birthright citizenship to the U.S.-born children of illegal aliens or noncitizens, as these children are not subject to U.S. jurisdiction as that language was understood when the 14th Amendment was ratified.

For more than a year, Trump has signaled that he has reviewed signing an executive order to end birthright citizenship, otherwise known as the “anchor baby policy.”

New York Showers Criminals With Gifts As They Leave Rikers Island Prison

New York Mayor Bill de Blasio authorized workers on Rikers Island to give all departing inmates gifts, including $25 debit cards, Mets tickets, free transit passes, movie tickets, and various gift cards. Although de Blasio originally touted the gifts as an incentive to get people to show up to court, they’re now being bestowed upon all exiting criminals. As many as 15,000 inmates are expected to rake in the prizes supplied by the incentive program.

Even inmates who have wrapped up their sentences are benefiting from the so-called incentive program.

Bronx, NY – New York Mayor Bill de Blasio has stationed workers on Rikers Island to dole out gifts to all departing inmates.

Carrying all of the taxpayer-purchased rewards, including $25 debit cards, Mets tickets, free transit passes, movie tickets, and various gift cards, has become such a burden that the city is working to purchase drawstring bags so criminals can pack their prizes out more easily, the New York Post reported.

There are even plans in the works to kick in some prepaid cell phones as part of New York’s soft-on-crime criminal justice reform law changes.

Over $500,000 has been used to purchase additional items, such as winter coats, the New York Post reported. The Steve Madden shoe company has also donated footwear to the cause.

Although de Blasio originally touted the gifts as an incentive to get people to show up to court, they’re now being bestowed upon all exiting criminals – including those who have wrapped up their sentences and have no further court hearings in connection with their latest round of offenses, the New York Post reported.

The city is using taxpayer dollars not only to shower criminals with gifts, but also to pay the workers from nonprofit groups that are doling everything out to them.

The program will expand beyond the boundaries of Rikers to all city courthouses during the week of Jan. 6.

“It’s a sad state of affairs when the city bends over backward to reward criminals instead of protecting the victims of their crimes,” one law enforcement source told the paper. “What’s next? Free limo service back home?”

As many as 15,000 inmates are expected to rake in the prizes supplied by the incentive program, according to the New York Post.

“2020 is going to be the year of the perp,” one law enforcement source told the paper.

Critics argued that doling out movie tickets, subway passes, and various store gift cards will reward criminal behavior, but New York Mayor Bill de Blasio said that the incentive program will be a success, according to WCBS.

“In a world where we want speedier trials and we want the justice system to work, if small incentives are part of what actually makes it work, then that’s a smart policy,” de Blasio told WCBS on Wednesday. “It’s not something we developed. It’s something that has been worked on by experts over time and proven to work and proven to be a good investment.”

As confident as the mayor may be in the plan, many of those who have actually worked with offenders disagreed.

Staten Island District Attorney Michael McMahon said the program is part of a “deranged mandate,” the New York Post reported.

“We are reaching the point of the absurd when those who are accused of serious offenses are free to roam the streets or even rewarded with gifts while the rights of victims continue to be ignored,” McMahon railed.

“They are tying our hands, they’re tying our feet and they’re gagging victims from coming forward to stand up for their rights,” McMahon added, according to the New York Post. “Many people accused with violent crimes, serious felonies, are going to be back on the street.”

Beginning on Thursday, prosecutors will have just 15 days from the time of arraignment to hand over all evidence pertaining to a case – including victim and witness information, WSTM reported.

Cases can be dismissed if prosecutors fail to meat the deadline, Albany County District Attorney David Soares told the news outlet.

“’By the way, I have to provide your cell phone number to his lawyer in a few weeks,’” Soares used as an example of what he will be forced to tell crime victims. “I don’t know how I’m going to have these conversations with a victim.”

Under the law change, the court can also require crime scenes to remain unchanged so that defendants can be allowed to visit them, the New York Daily News reported.

McMahon has been speaking out about the myriad of problems the sweeping changes will have throughout the state since they were passed back in April, the Staten Island Advance reported.

“We will undoubtedly see a chilling effect on cooperation by those impacted by crime, choosing instead to protect their own privacy and avoid being re-victimized,” McMahon warned. “While there certainly was room to improve New York’s criminal justice system, the ‘reforms’ to our bail and discovery statutes supported by our state Legislature and Governor Cuomo blew past any semblance of fairness or justice.”

Soares noted that some aspects of the law changes are essentially impossible to comply with, such as being mandated to turn over DNA or toxicology results that won’t even be back from the lab within the 15-day period.

“When we pointed it out to the governor’s office that they need to increase staffing at the labs, they just shrugged their shoulders,” he told WSTM.

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo’s spokesperson, Jason Conwall, argued that prosecutors can simply file a request for a 30-day extension if there is a valid reason why evidence can’t be obtained within the 15-day window.

“We carefully considered the views of law enforcement to ensure we enacted balanced reforms that were long overdue and will bring greater fairness to New York’s criminal justice system,” Conwall declared.

Soares said his office has been scrambling to digitize all of its evidentiary files, including some that date back for decades, in order to meet the Jan. 1 deadline.

But the ramifications of the criminal justice reform laws are even more wide-reaching.

Offenders found in possession of a wide array of weapons – including guns, switchblades, swords, machetes, and stun guns – will now be issued a “desk appearance ticket” and “set free,” the New York City Police Benevolent Association (PBA) pointed out in a Facebook post on Dec. 3.

Lawmakers also eliminated cash bail for hundreds of other criminal charges.

Chelsea Clinton Rakes in $9-Million as Board Member of Company Controlled by Clinton Supporter, Barry Diller

Former first daughter Chelsea Clinton made $9 million since 2011 while serving as a board member for the IAC/InterActiveCorp, a media and internet investment company that has an ownership stake in 150 well-known brands, such as Vimeo, Match, Tinder, Daily Beast, Investopedia, Angie’s List and Home Advisor. In October 2018, Clinton reportedly was paid $6.6 million for joining the IAC’s board. However, it was unclear at the time what exactly her role entailed. Both IAC and Expedia are controlled by Barry Diller, the business and television mogul, who is a friend of Hillary Clinton.  There seems to be little difference between the oligarchs in the Ukraine paying off Hunter Biden and oligarchs like Diller paying off Chelsea Clinton.

This is part and parcel of living in a globalist kleptocracy.

From The Hill:

Chelsea Clinton has reaped $9 million in compensation since 2011 for serving on the board of an internet investment company, according to Barron’s, the financial publication.

Barron’s reported Sunday that Clinton has profited handsomely as a board member for IAC/InterActiveCorp, a media and internet investment company that has an ownership stake in 150 well-known brands, such as Vimeo, Tinder, Angie’s List and Home Advisor.

Clinton, the only child of former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, has served on IAC’s board since 2011 and receives an annual $50,000 retainer and $250,000 worth of restricted IAC stock units, Barron’s reports.

[…] Clinton was named to the board of Expedia Group in March of 2017, a position that typically earned $250,000 in 2015, according to a report at the time by The Guardian.

Both IAC and Expedia are controlled by Barry Diller, the business and television mogul, who is a friend of Hillary Clinton.

Is there any difference between the oligarchs in the Ukraine paying off Hunter Biden and oligarchs like Diller paying off Chelsea Clinton?

I don’t see one.

Here’s a list of their holdings:

EU Has Poured $364 Million into Libya, Lining the Pockets of Warlords and Criminal Gangs

A new review of EU money being spent in Libya to curb the flow of migrants has shown that the money is actually lining the pockets of warlords and people-smuggling networks to facilitate illegal migration. So far, the political bloc has spent $364 million euros, with another $45 million earmarked in the future. Some of the money has gone through United Nations officials, yet internal emails show that corrupt UN officials knew some of the cash had been funneled to criminals. The EU has spent millions training the Libyan coast guard and the Italian government handed ten boats for Libyan coast guard patrol activities.

A new review of European Union (EU) money being spent in Libya to help curb the flow of migrants has shown that the money is actually lining the pockets of warlords and people-smuggling networks.

The EU has spent millions of euros in recent years in order to stop the large-scale flow of illegal migrants from Libya. But according to a review of where the funds have ended up, much of the money has gone towards the very groups helping to facilitate illegal migration, Sverige Radio reports.

So far, the political bloc has spent 327.9 million euros, with another 41 million earmarked in the future. While some of the money has gone through United Nations officials, internal emails revealed by the Associated Press (AP) show that the officials knew some of the cash had been funnelled to criminals.

AP also noted the cooperation between the Libyan coast guard and militias stating that the militias “torture, extort and otherwise abuse migrants for ransoms in detention centres under the nose of the U.N., often in compounds that receive millions in European money”.

The revelations are a blow to the EU, which has spent millions on training the Libyan coastguard along with the Italian government which handed the Libyans ten boats to use for coast guard patrol activities.

WSJ: US and Our Allies Believe Ukrainian Plane that Crashed and Killed 176 People Was Mistakenly Shot Down by Iran

The Wall Street Journal is reporting that US, Canadian and UK officials claim that a Ukrainian Boeing 737 commercial aircraft that crashed shortly after takeoff from Tehran on Wednesday, hours after Iran launched retaliatory missile attacks against two US bases in Iraq, was mistakenly downed by a Russian-made surface-to-air missile system fired by Iran. However, there is still an investigation pending and Iran has responded by calling the theory a “big lie.” The cause of the crash was initially reported due to mechanical problems. The plane was a 737-800 Boeing aircraft that is not to be confused with the 737 MAX planes that were grounded last year. All 176 passengers were killed, including including 82 Iranians, 63 Canadians, 11 Ukrainians,10 Swedes, 4 Afghanis, 3 Germans, and 3 Britons.

A team of 45 Ukrainian experts and officials in Tehran will be involved in decoding the black boxes and identifying and repatriating bodies. It is not clear how much access US investigators will get to the crash site, given the current animosity between the two countries.

U.S., Canadian and U.K. officials believe that a Ukrainian commercial aircraft that crashed shortly after takeoff from Tehran on Wednesday was mistakenly downed by a Russian-made surface-to-air missile system fired by Iran.

“We have a high level of confidence that this was shot down by Iran,” one U.S. official said Thursday, adding that the plane was being tracked by Iranian radar used to aim missiles just before the system was fired. The official identified the weapon as a Russian-made SA-15 surface-to-air missile system, also referred to as the Gauntlet.

Iran disputed the accusation, which a government spokesman called a “big lie.”

One factor contributing to the U.S. assessment was the large field of debris at the crash site, a second official said. Planes that crash as a result of mechanical failure have narrower debris fields, the official said.

President Trump on Thursday said “I have my suspicions” about the crash, voicing doubt in remarks at the White House that the cause may have been mechanical problems.

Canada Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson also said Thursday they believe the plane was shot down by an Iranian surface-to-air missile. “This may well have been unintentional,” Mr. Trudeau told reporters in Ottawa of the crash, which killed at least 63 Canadians. He reiterated his push for a credible probe into the cause: “I want answers.”

The Ukraine International Airlines crash killed all 176 passengers and crew members on board. The Boeing Co. 737-800 single-aisle plane departed the Iranian capital’s Imam Khomeini International Airport en route to Kyiv, Ukraine early Wednesday.

The crash came hours after Iran launched missile attacks on U.S. troops at two Iraqi bases in retaliation for the killing of Iranian Maj. Gen. Qassem Soleimani. The timing of those attacks raised questions about whether the Ukrainian airliner was downed by a projectile.

Ukraine International Airlines Flight 752
The Boeing 737-800 carrying 176 people crashed outside Tehran shortly after takeoff.

Ali Abedzadeh, head of Iran’s Civil Aviation Organization, told Iran’s Channel 2 news program that it was “not possible” an Iranian missile had hit the jet. “How would the antiaircraft system shoot it? It wasn’t a security area,” he said.

Mr. Abedzadeh said that up to nine other planes were flying in the area at the time of the crash and dozens of aircraft were at an altitude of 25,000 feet. Eyewitness saw the plane fall to the ground in flames, he said. “If the plane was hit by a missile, it would have exploded,” he said.

Iran earlier rejected the notion of a hostile act. “Since the Ukrainian pilot was trying to return to the airport, a rocket, missile strike or the country’s defense system is out of question,” said Hassan Rezaifar, head of Iran’s Civil Aviation Organization commission for accidents investigation, quoted by Iran’s state news agency. “No missile part was found in the crash scene.”

Iranian officials, quoted by the state news agency, said the plane had suffered a technical fault, that it had started to turn back in the direction of Tehran’s airport and was already on fire before it hit the ground. They said the jet had reached 8,000 feet before disappearing from radar.

The investigation is expected to be particularly thorny, with heightened tensions between the U.S. and Iran over the killing of the top Iranian general likely to complicate international cooperation.

A spokesperson for Ukraine International Airlines didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.

“Ukraine is interested in finding the truth. Therefore, I ask all our international partners: if you have any evidence to assist the investigation, please provide it,” said a spokeswoman for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

A Ukrainian official said that while Ukrainian investigators haven’t reached a firm conclusion, a missile strike seems increasingly likely.

Ali Rabiei, Iran’s government spokesman, said the country vowed to conduct a “fully transparent, precise, quick” investigation, according to a statement on news agency ISNA.

“A Pentagon source who didn’t want to reveal their name bombastically reported the news that the Ukrainian plane was hit by two missiles,” he said. “When in the future it turns out that there is no truth to this claim, no one will take responsibility for this big lie.”

Mr. Rabiei added, “We call on Boeing to send its representative to participate in the procedure of examining the black box.”
