Lebanon, Iraq, and Iran Condemn Israel’s ‘Declaration of War’ after It Bombs 3 countries in One Weekend

Lebanon, Iraq, and Iran declared recent Israeli aggression as an act of war after attacks on Lebanon, Syria, and Iraq over the weekend. After an explosive-laden drone took out Hezbollah’s media center in Beirut, the leader of Hezbollah said it will not tolerate any more Israeli drones penetrating Lebanese airspace. Israel also bombed Iraq for the first time in nearly 40 years, targeting Iran-allied Shiite militias. This caused a powerful bloc in Iraq’s parliament to demand that US troops leave the country. Israel’s third attack was against Syria in a series of ‘preemptive’ strikes against a ‘large-scale attack of multiple killer drones on Israel’ by Iran. Lebanon, Iraq and Iran have declared recent Israeli aggression as an act of war after attacks on Lebanon, Syria, and Iraq over the weekend, promising devastating retaliation if the violence continues.

A pair of kamikaze drone attacks on Beirut’s southern suburbs on Sunday and a drone strike on Palestinian militia in the Bekaa Valley early on Monday morning were akin to “a declaration of war,” Lebanese President Michel Aoun told the United Nations Special Coordinator on Monday, adding that the aggression “allows us to resort to our right to defending our sovereignty.

The international community must reject Israel’s “blatant violation” of UN Security Council Resolution 1701, which ended the 2006 war between Lebanon and Israel, PM Saad al-Hariri implored ambassadors from the UN Security Council’s permanent members. “Any escalation could develop into a regional cycle of violence that nobody can predict the extent of.”

And any Israeli drones overflying Lebanon will be shot out of the sky, Hezbollah Secretary-General Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah warned Tel Aviv. “Hezbollah will tolerate no more Israeli drones penetrating Lebanese airspace,” he declared on Sunday after an explosive-laden drone took out Hezbollah’s media center in Beirut.

Nor was Lebanon the only nation to draw the line at the eruption of Israeli aggression over the weekend. A powerful bloc in Iraq’s parliament has demanded US troops leave the country after a series of Israeli airstrikes targeting Iran-allied Shiite militias known as Popular Mobilization Units over the past week.

The Fatah Coalition holds the US “fully responsible” for the Israeli attacks, “which we consider to be a declaration of war on Iraq and its people,” it said in a statement on Monday after yet another drone strike killed a PMU commander in the western town of al-Qaim. US troops, the coalition insists, are “no longer needed” in Iraq.

And in Syria, Israeli missiles attacked several targets outside Damascus over the weekend, killing at least two in what the IDF claimed was a pre-emptive strike against a “large-scale attack of multiple killer drones on Israel” by Iran – ironically, a larger version of what they themselves were preparing to inflict on Lebanon.

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg Has Third Bout with Cancer, Second in 8 Months

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg (RBG) had the lower lobe of her left lung removed in December because it contained two malignant cancer nodules. Less than eight months later, at the beginning of this month, she completed three weeks of radiation therapy to treat a tumor on her pancreas. -GEG

Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg (RBG) is no friend of the Second Amendment. Justice Ginsburg voted against the Heller decision. She voted against the McDonald decision. Her opinion on the Second Amendment is clear.   From armsandthelaw.com:

“If the court had properly interpreted the Second Amendment, the Court would have said that amendment was very important when the nation was new,” she said. “It gave a qualified right to keep and bear arms, but it was for one purpose only — and that was the purpose of having militiamen who were able to fight to preserve the nation.””

Ruth’s position is to define the Second Amendment out of existence, without any argument, because she believes it has no purpose in modern society.  Her position has been: The Second Amendment is old. Therefore we can ignore it. That is the Progressive position about the Constitution. It is old, therefore we can ignore it.

On 21 December of 2018, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg had the lower lobe of her left lung removed because it contained two malignant cancer nodules.  From theatlantic.com:

On Friday, surgeons in New York removed the lower lobe of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s left lung. According to a statement from the Supreme Court, two nodules—which had been discovered in a CT scan after Ginsburg broke three ribs last month—were determined to be malignant.

Images before the surgery showed no evidence of cancer elsewhere in her body, and doctors at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center reported that there was “no evidence of any remaining disease” after the procedure. According to the statement, no further treatment is planned.

On 23 August, 2019, the Supreme Court released information indicating Justice Ginsburg had completed three weeks of radiation therapy to treat a tumor on her pancreas. This treatment occurred less than eight months after the surgery to remove a lobe of her lung.

Seattle Can’t Clean Human Feces Off Sidewalks Because Democrat Councilman Says Hoses Are Racist

Seattle, Washington is having trouble deciding how to remove human feces from their sidewalks thanks to Democrat city councilman, Larry Gossett, who claims pressure washers are racist. He says they bring back images of hoses being used against civil-rights activists. -GEG

Seattle, Washington, one of the most liberal cities in America, is having trouble deciding how to get human feces removed from their sidewalks thanks to a Democrat city councilman who claims pressure washers are racist.

King County Superior Court judges Laura Inveen and Jim Rogers recently asked the county to clean and patrol the area outside a local courthouse, but they’re being stonewalled by Seattle councilmember Larry Gossett.

The Seattle Times reports:

“Inveen told the committee about two incidents, one in late May and one in June, in which jurors were attacked in separate incidents outside the courthouse’s Third Avenue entrance. On other occasions, Inveen said, employees have been spat upon, slammed against a wall or punched.

Although cleaning and patrolling the area immediately surrounding the courthouse would not address some of the deep-seated issues faced by denizens of the space, it would send a signal that somebody was paying attention, she said.

US: One in Five Managers Will Not Hire Trump Supporters

American workers who support President Trump face sweeping bias against them, with some managers refusing to hire them at all. Those already employed are facing discrimination and mockery, according to a new study. The survey found that a job candidate’s view on race and gender politics was even more important than their opinion of Trump. [This story does not say, but we expect that most of the managers interviewed were from large corporations that are part of Establishment mentality. It is hard to imagine that smaller companies and private businesses would harbor this bias.] -GEG.

American workers who like President Trump face sweeping bias against them, with some managers refusing to hire his supporters and those already employed facing discrimination and mockery, according to a new study.

In a survey of hiring managers and workers shared with Secrets, the marketing firm Airtasker found that left-leaning firms are especially anti-Trump, with 20% vowing to reject a job candidate who backs the president.

And those who support Trump and who are already in the workplace face substantial mockery, including name-calling. The survey listed the responses to several examples of what pro-Trump workers face:

  • 28%, joking about them.
  • 23%, overly critical of them.
  • 21%, being dismissive of them.
  • 11% facing name calling.

The survey found that even more than Trump, a job candidate’s view on race and gender politics will help, or hurt, their chances of getting a job.

It found, for example, that 65% of hiring managers want to know a job candidate’s position on race, and that 29% will reject a candidate if their position isn’t in line with the manager’s.
