China revealed that, as of March, the Social-Credit system has blocked an unspecified number of citizens from buying over 23-million airplane, train, and bus tickets.
The move is an attempt to do away with differences in test scores that theoretically result from disparities in wealth and education and, by so doing, preempt a possible ruling from the Supreme Court on race-based affirmative action.
The bill is intended to challenge the Supreme Court’s decision in Roe v. Wade, in which the high court enshrined the right to abortion as a constitutional right, though such a thing does not exist in the Constitution.
