Trump Ends $700 Million in Foreign Aid Payments to El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala in Response to Migrant Caravans

A Mexican minister claimed that the ‘mother of all caravans,’ with 20,000 migrants, is currently organizing for its trek to the United States. Trump is threatening Mexico that if they don’t stop the caravan, he will close the southern border. The Trump administration has cut foreign assistance to El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras. President Trump accused the countries refusing to help the US stop the flow of migrants and even helping to “set up” the caravans. This move and could increase the number of migrants to the US.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The United States is cutting off aid to El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras, known collectively as the “Northern Triangle,” the State Department said on Saturday, a day after President Donald Trump blasted the Central American countries for sending migrants to the United States.

“We are carrying out the President’s direction and ending FY (fiscal
year) 2017 and FY 2018 foreign assistance programs for the Northern
Triangle,” a State Department spokesperson said in a statement. The
department declined to provide further details.

The State
Department said it would “engage Congress in the process,” an apparent
acknowledgement that it will need lawmakers’ approval to end the
funding.

A U.S. House Appropriations Committee aide estimated that around $700 million of aid was affected.

Democratic
Representative Nita Lowey, who chairs the committee, tweeted that the
move to cut aid was “immoral and more likely to deteriorate conditions
that push people into the kind of poverty and despair that exacerbates
migration.”

New Jersey Senator Bob Menendez, the top Democrat on
the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, called Trump’s order a “reckless
announcement” and urged Democrats and Republicans alike to reject it.

“U.S.
foreign assistance is not charity; it advances our strategic interests
and funds initiatives that protect American citizens,” Menendez said in a
statement.

Trump claimed on Friday during a trip to Florida that
the countries had “set up” caravans of migrants in order to export them
into the United States. A surge of asylum seekers from the three
countries have sought to enter the United States across its southern
border in recent days.

Two Survivors of the Parkland Shooting Event Reported to Commit Suicide with Guns Within a Week of Each Other

Broward County, Florida: More than a year after the mass shooting event at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High, two student survivors reportedly committed suicide. Sydney Aiello, 19, is said to have suffered from “survivor’s guilt” and died from a gunshot to the head. Calvin Desir, 16, a second survivor, also committed suicide and died from a gunshot to the head, one week after Aiello. According to a parent whose child was killed in the Parkland shooting event, suicides are common following mass shootings and he claimed that almost as many students killed themselves after the Columbine shooting in 1999 than in the actual shooting.

In another strange coincidence, Jeremy Richman, a 49-year-old neuroscientist who was the father of a 6-year old child reportedly killed in the Sandy Hook shooting, also killed himself. Police have not revealed the method of suicide. Richman was a plaintiff in one of the defamation lawsuits against Alex Jones.

Parkland,
FL – A second survivor of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School
massacre committed suicide on Saturday night, one week after a classmate
was the first survivor to kill herself.

Coral
Springs police responded to a Parkland home for a report of a shooting
on March 23 to find 16-year-old Calvin Desir dead of a gunshot wound to
the head, the Daily Mail reported.

Desir, like his former Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School classmate Sydney Aiello who committed suicide a week earlier, was at school the day of the 2018 massacre but survived.

Seventeen students and staff were murdered by a 19-year-old gunman on Feb. 14, 2018. Another 17 were wounded during the melee.

Aiello’s
family has said their daughter could not handle the survivor guilt
associated with surviving the shooting spree and losing friends to the
gunman’s bullets.

Desir’s older sister, Brittany Wright, created a GoFundMe page to help her family with Desir’s funeral expenses and described her little brother in detail.

“My
family is grieving over the loss of a wonderful and amazing son,
brother, nephew, and friend,” she wrote. “As his older sister, I had the
pleasure of watching Calvin grow from a child to a respectable young
man. He was a fellow student at Stoneman Douglas with strong aspirations
of one day becoming an engineer, which inspired him to always find new
projects around the house to challenge his skills.”

“Calvin
was so loving and well loved by all his peers and family,” Wright
continued. “He enjoyed riding his bike with his friends, shopping,
cooking and trying new recipes with his mom, performing yard work and
various chores with his dad and spending quality time with our baby
sister and I.”

“I
can tell you firsthand that he was one of a kind, very soft spoken, and
never once hurt a fly. If you ever asked him to do the simplest task,
he was right on it. His selflessness and quick action to help others is
something that we all deeply admired. Calvin Desir was truly special to
us all and will forever live on in our hearts. We love you Calvin!” she
wrote.

Devastated
by the two deaths in quick succession, the city of Coral Springs
quickly announced a Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Town Hall
Meeting on Wednesday night, the Miami Herald reported.

“The
tragedy at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School did not end when the
gunfire stopped or when the 17 victims were laid to rest,” the Coral
Springs Police Department posted on its official Facebook
page. “The City of Coral Springs recognizes the anxiety and suffering
continues for students, teachers and families who have experienced such
violence and devastating loss.”

“In the span of one week we lost two teens from MSD to an apparent suicide. We simply cannot let the events of that day take the lives of any more of our children,” the post continued. “As a City we are committed to shining a light on those who suffer in the darkness. The mental health of our children and all those who have been affected by the MSD tragedy must be made a priority.”

Broward
Schools Superintendent Robert Muncie did not officially release Desir’s
identity, but tweeted that he had met with the boy’s family and gotten a
sense of “what a great young man he was,” the Daily Mail reported.

Ryan
Petty, who lost his 14-year-old daughter Alaina Petty in the Feb. 14,
2018 school shooting, formed a suicide prevention organization in the
wake of his daughter’s death.

“The issue of suicide needs to be talked about. This is another tragic example,” Petty told the Miami Herald.

He
addressed a little known statistic about the Columbine High School
massacre on April 20, 1999, when 12 students and one teacher were gunned
down by a classmate, the Daily Mail reported.

“When
you look at Columbine as an example, almost just as many students
killed themselves after the fact than in the actual shooting. That needs
to change. We need to get them the help they need,” Petty said.

Alex Jones, Under Pressure of Lawsuits, Backs Away from Prior Claim that School Shootings Were Staged

Alex Jones faces multiple lawsuits from families of students and educators who were killed in the 2012 Sandy Hook shooting. Jones, who previously claimed that the Sandy Hook shooting was a hoax, told lawyers in his deposition that he “almost had like a form of psychosis back in the past where I basically thought everything was staged, even though I’m now learning a lot of times things aren’t staged.” In his defense, Jones gave examples of false-flag events, thereby illustrating that staged events are real and that they have been used to achieve political goals. It remains to be seen whether questioning the reality of crisis events that favor political agendas will be classified as mental illness. Wolfgang Halbig, who has investigated the Sandy Hook shooting for a number of years, also is named in the lawsuit. It is not yet known if he will claim psychosis or pursue discovery in the Sandy Hook case to get answers to the many unanswered questions relating to the shooting. -GEG

Alex Jones, the Austin-based provocateur embroiled in several lawsuits filed by parents of victims of the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, said in a deposition released Friday that his conspiracy thinking was a kind of mental disorder.

Jones, who repeatedly
claimed on his internet and radio show InfoWars that the mass shooting
in Newtown, Conn., was a hoax, told lawyers he “almost had like a form
of psychosis back in the past where I basically thought everything was
staged, even though I’m now learning a lot of times things aren’t
staged.”

Jones blamed his mental state on “the trauma of the media
and the corporations lying so much, then everything begins — you don’t
trust anything anymore, kind of like a child whose parents lie to them
over and over again, well, pretty soon they don’t know what reality is.”

The
admission came toward the end of the three-hour deposition recorded in a
downtown Austin law office March 14 in one of several lawsuits brought
in Austin, Connecticut and Virginia against Jones by parents of children
killed in the shooting. The suits contend that Jones’ repeated claims
that the shootings were staged showed a reckless disregard for the truth
and for the distress and real harm he was causing the parents, piling
torment on their tragedies.

“So long before these lawsuits I said that in the past I thought
everything was a conspiracy, and I would kind of get into that mass
group think of the communities that were out there saying that,” Jones
said. “And so now I see that it’s more in the middle. All right? So
that’s where I stand.”

But under questioning by Houston lawyer Mark Bankston, Jones continued to display a fundamentally conspiratorial frame of mind.

The
deposition offers a revealing look at Jones’ state of mind at a moment
of maximum peril him. Jones has been stripped since summer of major
social media platforms for InfoWars because of the content of his posts
and playing defense in multiple courtrooms.

Democrat Congresswoman Ilhan Omar Blames ‘White Nationalism’ for Border Crisis Forcing Outdoor Detention of Migrants

Hundreds of illegal immigrant families are being held in the outside parking lot of a Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) station because there is no room for them inside, or anywhere else. The illegal aliens are usually processed within 24 hours and then moved to a different facility. The massive surge at the border, has caused the system to break, yet Democrat Representative Ilhan Omar, who migrated from Somalia to the US as a child, blames the crisis on white nationalism. ‘Catch-and-release’ is back in full force and is getting worse thanks to the open-border bill passed by both Democrat and Republican members of Congress that Trump signed last month.

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), who came to the U.S. as a refugee from Somalia when she was a child, is blaming “white nationalism” for Customs and Border Patrol being overwhelmed by massive illegal alien migration at the Southern border that has forced the agency to temporarily detain migrants outdoors while being processed.

“This is abhorrent and inhumane. It’s without a doubt a reflection of what white nationalism is doing to our country. As a country, we have to acknowledge that this is how people are being treated here and decide that we are better and we must do better.”

Bob Moore with Texas Monthly reported on the Border Patrol reaching “the breaking point”. Excerpt:

With hundreds of migrants huddled under a nearby bridge,
the top U.S. border enforcement official on Wednesday made his strongest
statement yet on the tens of thousands of migrant families now crossing
the Mexican border. “Two weeks ago I briefed the media and testified in
Congress that our immigration system was at the breaking point. That
breaking point has arrived this week at the border,” Customs and Border
Protection Commissioner Kevin McAleenan said at a news conference near El Paso’s Paso del Norte Bridge.

…“On Monday and Tuesday, CBP started the day with over 12,000
migrants in our custody. As of this morning that number was 13,400. A
high number for us is 4,000. A crisis level is 6,000. Thirteen thousand
is unprecedented,” McAleenan said. Included in that number are hundreds
of people being held beneath the Paso del Norte Bridge, behind a
chain-link fence topped with barbed wire. CBP has set up a tent under
the bridge to allow some of the migrants to get out of the elements.
Migrants typically stay there less than 24 hours before being moved to
other facilities, officials said. After McAleenan concluded his press
conference, dozens of migrants pushed up against the fence as media came
over to them. They cheered when a group of four protesters began
chanting “No estan solos” (you are not alone) and other slogans.

US Projected to Add 1.5 Million Illegal Aliens to Population this Year, at a Cost of $116 Billion

The US is projected to add 1.5 million illegal aliens to the American population by the end of the year if current rates of Catch-and-Release, border crossings and visa overstays continue the surging trend. Illegal aliens and their US-born children cost American taxpayers $116 billion per year. Research shows that immigration to the US shifts about $500 billion in wages away from working and middle class Americans toward new arrivals and economic elites.

The United States is projected to add about 1.5 million illegal
aliens to the American population by the end of the year, should current
rates of Catch and Release, border crossings, and visa overstays pan
out.

This year, the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Catch and
Release policy — whereby border crossers and illegal aliens are readily released
from federal custody into the interior of the U.S. — is on track to
release roughly 434,000 border crossers and illegal aliens into the
country by the end of the year. This projection is based on current
estimates that more than 36,000 border crossers and illegal aliens have
been released from DHS custody every month since the beginning of the
year.

Additionally, Princeton Policy Advisors researcher Steven Kopits projects that in 2019, there will be up to 500,000
illegal aliens at the southern border who successfully cross into the
U.S. undetected by Border Patrol agents. These are foreign nationals
whom federal immigration officials are unaware of and are usually only
deported after they commit a crime in the U.S.

Also, should visa overstay levels continue at the same pace as in Fiscal Year 2017, there could potentially be about 630,000 illegal aliens added to the U.S. population after overstaying their visas.

Center for Immigration Studies Director of Policy Jessica Vaughan
told Breitbart News that experts predict there to be anywhere between
300,000 to 400,000 visa overstays this year.

These projections put the number of illegal aliens added to the U.S.
population at around one to 1.5 million, on top of the 11 to 22 million
illegal aliens who are already living across the country. This finding
does not factor in the illegal aliens who will be deported, die over the
next year, or leave the U.S. of their own will. As DHS data has
revealed, once border crossers and illegal aliens are released into the
country, the overwhelming majority are never deported.

For example, while the Trump administration has increased deportations,
there continue to be only about 95,000 deportations of illegal aliens
living in the U.S., as the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)
continues to not have the capacity to handle the enormous, and growing,
illegal population.

Meanwhile, U.S. taxpayers are crippled with the burden of absorbing
the 11 to 22 million-strong illegal population. In terms of healthcare
costs, illegal aliens and their U.S.-born child c0st the American
taxpayers about $17 billion a year. Annual illegal immigration costs American taxpayers $116 billion.

The nation’s Washington, DC-imposed mass
legal and illegal immigration policy — whereby at least 1.5 million
unskilled foreign nationals are admitted to the U.S. every year — is a
boon to corporate executives, Wall Street, big business, and
multinational conglomerates, as America’s working and middle class have
their wealth redistributed to the country’s top earners through wage stagnation.
