Imran Awan, Pakistani IT Worker Strikes Plea Deal Preventing Prosecution on Spying and Hacking Charges
Imran Awan, the Pakistani IT worker suspected of hacking, spying and transferring classified information from DNC computers, pleaded guilty to making a false statement on a loan/credit application. The plea agreement states that Awan will not be charged with any non-violent crimes that violated Federal or District of Columbia law.
